We arrived on the corner of huérfanos totally dumbfounded. Where was the hotel? It's a residential building at the address. We asked the doorman who called someone...somewhere...and 5-10 minutes later a man arrived to take us up to an apartment which serves as the office. Unbeknownst to us, because it isn't mentioned on the website, we were renting an apartment in a residential building. One room was not set up correctly and there was no one to separate the bed into the requested twins or set up the sofa bed with linens. As for the apartments, they are compact but clean, with nice linens and decently stocked kitchens. The pool is lovely. The Internet essentially did not work at all in one apartment of the two we rented, and breakfast is packaged white bread, a plate of meat/cheese, and fruit cups and juice boxes in the fridge daily. Ive stayed in worse places, but I probably wouldn't do this again as I prefer a hotel with a lobby and a desk staffed 24/7.

This was a bizarre place. There's nothing on the outside of the building to identify the 'hotel' within. The check-in desk is hidden in a private (locked!) room, in the back corner of the ground floor. My room was on the 10th floor of what seemed like a regular residential block of flats. There were only 2 lifts serving about 30 floors, so long waits were common. I was given a Wi-Fi password for a network that wasn't available in my room. The room itself was very nice, spacious, clean, incredibly comfortable bed! When I asked about the pool, I was told it was closed because it "wasn't summer" - even though it was March and 25 degrees celsius outside... I went up to the top floor to have a look at the pool/gym anyway, and it didn't look like anyone had even been up there for years! I'm sceptical they even open it in "summer". The best thing is the location - Huerfanos is a lovely open street with loads of great places to eat. All together I just don't think the hotel lives up to the description or photos.

Perfect apartments for a family of four in a family suite. Great rooftop pool and view. Central location at main pedestrian street in Centro. The hall is not impressive, but the rooms has everything you need for a short stay. We can highly recommend this place when comparing to the relatively low price from hotels.com!

This was my fourth visit to Chile and I have to say I was a little disappointed with the quarters at this place. It is definitely NOT a hotel, but I wasn't expecting one because it is an Apart-hotel. However, my experience with apart-hotels in other places of Chile like Santiago, Temuco and Pucón were phenomenal. Sadly, this one came out last. Because of my great experiences before, I thought this would've been a great place to stay. What I experienced instead was poor customer service along with subpar cleanliness of the room. For example, the walls were dirty and stained, the bedsheets had not been changed from previous guests, etc. Maybe if they would've cleaned the room prior to my arrival, it probably would've changed my experience completely.

As the customer service goes, I was kept waiting unattended at the door of their office for over 30 minutes. They don't have a lobby for their "suites" because it is an apart-hotel within, what looks to be, a residential building. They claimed to not have received my reservation made on Expedia, which could help explain why the room was not so clean. Also, you could tell previous guests had smoked in he room.

On the positive side, location was pretty good. Price was very economical. Lots of people so if you want to make new friends, this was a great place to do that.

Anyways, bottom line is on my future visits to Chile, I WILL avoid staying here. I feel they could've done better to accommodate my visit, but sometimes, you just get what you pay for. 😉

Overall the way this place is represented on websites (eg. bookings.com and Expedia) is very deceptive, as this is in no way a hotel. Instead seems to be a group of private apartment owners who have joined forces to try and fleece the travelling community! The apartment we rented was TINY and FILTHY dirty, including no covers on stained doonas, floors not vacuumed, dirty showers that didn't work properly. The only positives are that it is well located and there were towels provided. We arrived late at night and therefore were faced with the apartment building's concierge only, who insisted on payment in advance and refused to give us a receipt for this payment. DO NOT stay here.

Don't be fooled by the photographs, this place is not a hotel! There is no restaurant on the premises, you have to lug your bags up a flight of stairs to go to a toom 106b where you check in. You are told there is no laundry or breakfast. No restaurants close by, so reduced to going to the only plus a supermarket across the road.
The rooms are small, tiny, including the bathroom. The space between the bed and wall about 18 inches. The room is filthy dirty. Even though we thought we had booked hotel room, we had a small kitchen, with the barest of necessities, the cupboards, dirty, say no more. The curtains are a grey black, disgusting, mould around the cupboard doors, skirting and floors dirty too. How on earth can this be rated so highly on trip advisor is beyond comprehension. Spoke with guests staying who are from South America and I asked them their opinion, they would not even give it one star. Don't be fooled by what you read about this property, stay elsewhere!

I was a little bit confused when we got to the building, as it is really a downtown building complex that happens to house the Agustina Apart hotel.
The managers, and all their employees were great!! They were always courteous and diligent on any request. Maid services is EXCELLENT!!
*My recommendation would be to have the outside hallway and stairway cleaned and move the *TV to the living room instead of the bedroom.
*The outside hall way walls were dirty and there were quite a few cigarette butts strewn all over the stairs.
Would i stay there again?--Yes if they can work out my suggestions.

Apartments are a touch small, but clean and well furnished. The location is excellent in the heart of downtown close to the metro and within walking distance of most of the attractions. The roof on the 30th floor is where the pool and gym are located. The view is spectacular on a clear day and the area is setup with several tables, chairs and two charcoal grills. This is a great place to drink a bottle of wine or a few beer and snack or grill on a warm spring or summer evening.

I did stay here for 11 day's. I booked a standard room, unfortunately it was too small, noisy, hot, since didn't have air conditioner.
When I complaint they gave me another room, much bigger and comfortable plus air conditioner. But again it was very noisy, very difficult to get a good night's rest.
Beside the bed was very hard. Overall I would not recommend staying here, unless you are a party animal and like loud music and noises

For those who want to know the historical places of Chile's capital, this hotel has a lot to offer. A few blocks from the presidential palace, you can visit most places on foot. Also near to Santa Ana metro station, you can use this great public service to go far from downtown, line the beautiful neighborhood named Providencia. The hotel does not provide breakfast, so you have to figure it out. But don't worry, there's a lot of coffee houses nearby and there's a Starbucks a block away. You should be advised that at night the streets around become completely empty, so is better to be careful. In general, it's a great place to stay, higly recommended, due to its great price.
