Great location for a fabulous boutique Hotel. Staff are very happy and helpful. The rooms are quite comfortable and clean although some rooms are very small (for doubles) Breakfast is from a set menu, you can choose from a couple of options, not huge however enough to fill you and the coffee is great.
The street is fairly quiet and the hotel is walking distance from some very nice restaurants. Around the corner are some bars, and not far from nightlife.
This is our second time in this hotel and would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Casa Bellavista is a nice little place to stay, located on a quiet street, a few blocks from the touristy places in the Bellavista neighbourhood. The rooms are small, but comfortable, and there is a nice back patio for you to relax. The included breakfast is a set menu, instead of a buffet, which I found to be the best included breakfast I had in my south American trip. Special shout out to the lovely woman who was making the breakfast, who was patient with my poor Spanish, and went out of her way to make sure we were well cared for. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.
Tip: the nearest mini market we could find was about 10 minutes walk away, across the street from the hospital. However they bake their own bread and buns, and yo can buy a delicious, and cheap sandwich to go.

Casa Bellavista is peacefully located just a few minutes' walk from all the many fun restobars and from the fantastic 'fitness mountain' Cerro San Cristobal, where you can hike, run, or cycle to your heart's content.

The hotel has nice, clean rooms, excellent wifi, and a really delicious breakfast with yogurt and fresh fruit, strawberry juice, as well as freshly brewed coffee/tea and eggs cooked to your liking.

There is a huge terrace with good garden furniture where you can chill from morning till night.

For the price, you'll hardly find a better hotel in all of Santiago. And as mentioned, the location is brilliant. You can walk to the city center (Plaza de Aramas) in about 15 minutes.

Stayed a couple of days at Casa Bellavista in December. Loved the place. Room and bath were very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. I found the neighborhood to be safe and pleasant, with fairly easy access to various places in the city that a tourist would want to visit. Just a short walk to La Chascona, where Pablo Neruda and his wife lived (now a museum to the poet), and the cable car up the hill. Lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Highly recommended and would stay here again if I return to Santiago.

Nice residential/quiet location even though very walkable to the main Bellavista restaurant/bar strip a little bit away. Also very convenient to visit Pedro Neruda's La Cascona House. Service was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast there is really good. The boutique hotel is small, so rooms are a bit modest in size but overall quite comfortable. It's on a quiet street so there's little noise, although if there is a loud guest staying in the same place, noise could resonate a bit. Overall, if you could get a decent price for a room, it's a great option. Stayed here twice on separate occasions and more suitable for singles or couples than families.

A very nice small hotel in an excellent location. Just 10 minutes easy walk to the dozens of restaurants in Patio Bellavista and also the Pio Nono funicular station up Cerro San Cristobel to the statue Virgen de la Immaculada Concepcion.
Our room was not large but OK size, king bed, tv, safe but no fridge or tea and coffee facilities. It had a/c which we didn't need mainly because room 9 wasn't great. It never sees the sun to warm it up or be bright and also faces the road with barking dogs occasionally at night. Immaculately clean and comfortable though.
Breakfast was selected not buffet. Yoghurt and fruit or cereal choice, choice of eggs, omelette or scrambled with choices, tomatoes, cheese, ham, chocolate pancake offered but when we asked for honey it is immediately available as is toast or arepas. With one selection from each option its a three course breakfast with juice choice and tea or coffee. All very tasty. There is a pleasant outside seating area for a quiet rest after a day's sightseeing.

Comfortable, safe, and located in a fun part of town. The Providencia and Bella Vista parts of town are pleasant and safe to walk around when it gets later in the day. Close to the mountain to walk up and see the view of the city. Also walked to la plaza de armas although that's a little bit further (about a mile).

Friendly hotel staff, nice room and shower, and breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Kitchen staff only speak Spanish but please do yourself a favor and order the arepas!

Would stay here again

The property common areas, especially the entrance and wood floors throughout the property need to be refinished and cleaned. The entrance garden needs to be watered and weeded. It is unappealing. The outdoor furniture in the entrance courtyard is also worn and not well kept. The entrance is unattractive as are the common areas. The rooms are VERY small; so small that I could not open the closet doors because they hit the bed. My room consisted on one double bed, one tiny side table with a wobbly small lamp that is unusable because the two electric plugs were used by the A/c and TV. The only English language station was the BBC. The best thing about the hotel is the powerful a/c which is a must in Santiago in the summer, the breakfast which was prepared especially for each guest, the young ladies who work at the hotel who are most kind and friendly and the security which controlled access to the property 24/7. The location of the property is a few blocks from the center of the Bellavista neighborhood. Next time, I will likely stay at a newer and better located and better maintained hotel in Lastarria which is nearer to the Center of Santiago but still in a nicely maintained and more central neighborhood of Santiago. My friend’s single room even aller than mine; it was miniscule. The shower was so small that he came to use the shower in my double room. The toilet seat in my bathroom also needs to be replaced as it kept sliding off. Better hotels in Lastarria.

Dear Hilaron, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave your comments and suggestions. I’m glad you found our staff kind and friendly. We do our best to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable. Indeed, you came at a time when our garden is going through a splurge of spring growth. We will prune and cut back at the appropriate time. We are planning a revamp of the floors and entrance area in March when traffic decreases. In regards the rooms, unfortunately you and your friend both opted for our smallest rooms, which are accurately described with room measurements on our website. These rooms suit guests who are on a budget and are looking for an economical room but with the comforts we offer- Smart TVs, high speed internet and great AC. If you are looking for size, I invite you to stay in our Standard or Superior rooms that I am sure you will find most comfortable and spacious. In Chile all movies and sitcoms are shown in their original language you just need to change the language setting on the remote control! All the best!
