Really enjoyed our stay in ICON. The rooftop bar and pool are amazing - great Pisco Sours and beautiful sunsets! Room was very good too; modern and clean. Location is good, near the metro for exploring further parts of the city and the surrounding area feels safe for tourists. Staff were excellent, they were very welcoming and friendly - especially in reorganising a cancelled wine tour for us and giving us alternative suggestions for things to do at such short notice. Restaurant has good selection of food and the different meat& fish dishes we had on different nights was tasty.

Great find of a hotel in the out of the way Las Condes district but close (one block) to the red line metro station to get into town easily.
Stylish well designed modern hotel with all the amenities including well equipped gym, rooftop pool and stunning rooftop bar.
Rooms were spacious and well designed with innovative lighting and plugs for all your electronic needs. They even gave us an upgrade!

We also stayed at the hotel during February 2020 and would fully agree with Delly from Australia the roof top bar is excellent. We were obviously staying at the hotel at the same time as I would echo his comments about all the staff particularly ximena, very friendly and helpful. Not sure about his comments about coffee in chile though as we found some excellent coffee shops particularly if you walk to the large shopping mall about a mile away where there are many bars and restaurants unfortunately we only discovered this on our last night.
We had 2 visits to the hotel in between a trip to Buenos Aires and I would recommend paying the slightly higher premium to stay on the higher floors with great view of the andes.
The location of the hotel is good in a very nice area and far enough out of the city centre.
The recommendation I would make to the hotel is to try and ensure non guests are not taking up the sunbeds as there are relatively few and should be there for hotel guests only.
Other than this small point we thought it a great hotel to stay.

In January 2020, we stayed at ICON Hotel, Santiago for 3 nights. It is a lovely hotel. The Front Desk staff – Miguel, Gustavo, Matias and Maria to name a few - were extremely helpful. In addition we would like to thank Peter and Beatrix from the restaurant for their good service. The included breakfast in the hotel had a good variety of hot and cold foods, fruits, pastries and juices. Outdoor pool and bar are located on the 23rd floor. One can get a good view of the Andes (on a clear day).

Location is very good, and rooms were very quiet. Manquehue Metro Station is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It is very convenient to use the trains and the fare is very affordable. First one has to buy a BIP metro card and load it with money. Two people can use the same BIP card.

CON: It was inconvenient to have the wash basin in the room rather than in the bathroom.

Gave a "Very Good" rating only for the room because of my remark under CON.

Booked for 7 nights , two rooms. Booked from previous evening so when we arrived mid morning our room would be ready after 30 hours traveling from the UK rather than wait until 1500hrs.

When getting the taxi from the airport I checked my phone to see the first night had been taken out of my account. On arrival at the hotel we were told our room was not ready and we would have to wait until 1500hrs!! When queried we were told the hotel had sold our rooms for the night and were very rude about this!! They eventually after one hour sorted the rooms

The rooftop restaurant and bar was unavailable for three nights out of our seven night stay as it had been sold off for private functions, so for £1200/$1500 we could not use our very own hotel rooftop for greed to sell onto private functions, poor show

Apart from that comfortable rooms and good restaurant staff, decent breakfast

You have to book the spa pool on -3 floor

We stayed two nights here in February. Reception staff was very friendly and smiley. They let us into the room earlier than the official check in time. The hotel has a nice modern design. The inside has a triangular shape which is very unusual.

Breakfast was nice and tasty. The room had a great view of the mountains and city but we had to keep the curtains closed since the sun heated up the room very quickly turning it into a sauna. Bathroom was well equipped. Coffee, tea and snacks at the minibar. Beds were comfortable and clean. No complaints really.

The spa was a little bit less than expected. The area looks very pretty and has a nice atmosphere but getting changed is a bit strange and they don't provide any gowns. The jacuzzi was not warm so not pleasant sitting in it for long but not suitable for swimming either. The space is very small but it was only us there so it didn't bother us.

A short taxi ride from the main sights but in a safe more up market area. There is also a metro station right outside.

Would definitely come back!

This hotel hits all the basics when it comes to the rooms, but seriously misses the marks in its priorities. A lot of effort goes into highlighting the rooftop bar, which has a great view of the Andes - but…as it was often closed to hotel guests during our stay, instead reserved for private functions, is a pointless amenity. If you do book there assume you won’t be able to use it at least some of your stay. If do get to enjoy it, it’s sadly all style and no substance - the food quality is hit and miss and the space dedicated to relaxing/sun loungers is very limited. The hotel has an air of trying way to hard to be cool, and totally forgetting about looking after their paying guests. Disappointing.

The hotel is fairly new, located in one of the best neighborhoods in the city, with all services available nearby. The facility is very nice and attention to detail, the rootfop with pool is fantastic with a breathtaking view of the Andes.
Too bad the level of service is really very low, in order it happened to me:
- key handed out 3 times at check in (first time I was assigned an occupied room, second time the key didn't work)...no apologies for the mistakes
- I ate 4 times at the different restaurant of the hotel, the quality of the food really good, too bad that on all 4 occasions I was served different dishes than I had chosen
- wrong bill 2 times at check out

These mistakes turn a stay from pleasant to annoying. If the hotel wants to maintain the category to which it aspires it will certainly have to improve in service

Well located, great breakfast (and only $11 p/p) and overall nice modern vibes. I would say the rooftop /swimming pool makes the whole vibe. Good price/quality. Small details are missing and although the staff is friendly, it feels like they need more training. My room number was yelled twice while checking in (I don't want random people knowing which room I'll be staying) . Tiles on wet sauna were broken and hadn't been fixed for a while and the painting on my bathroom ceiling was falling apart. AC filter from my room was also clogged and dirty , I had someone come and clean it but I guess it could've been taken care of before we checked in.
