We stayed 4 nights at the hotel and it was a more than satisfactory experience.
The good Very good attention from the staff, always very willing to answer questions or requirements. Excellent location in the heart of Villarica close to all important attractions especially the lake The Toscano restaurant is very good, it is worth going for lunch or dinner. and abundant and tasty breakfasts
The not so good The hotel is old and there is wear and tear in some facilities. The negative point would be the bathrooms, especially the shower, which is narrow and uncomfortable; They are currently remodeling the facilities and it is expected that these issues will be resolved.
In summary, more than satisfied with having booked here and I would return without a doubt.

We stayed at the Hotel Suenos Del Volcan in Villarrica for one night whilst on route to Parque Nacional Villarrica (Villarrica National Park) to view Cuevas Volcan. The fee was $55000 Chilean Pesos (approximately AUD$100 or GBP£55) per night including a standard Chillean breakfast (bread, postage stamp slices of ham and cheese, and instant coffee or tea) and Internet access via WiFi. There was no on-site parking but there are several parking spaces outside if the hotel.
The cuatro camas (four bed room; room 12) was large with ample space for baggage and snow gear. The room contained one double bed and a single bed, with another narrow single bed hidden underneath. Thankfully, all of the beds were warm and comfortable because there were no extra blankets or pillows - the freindly hotel staff may be able to provide extra bedding upon request.
A large heater in rhe main room operated all night - a pleasant change from timed heating appliances commonly employed throughout Chile. Guests can watch a variety of local and international channels on a large flat screen television stationed in the corner of the room. There were no coffee or tea making facilities, microwave oven, or internal phone system. However, coffee and tea is available upon request.
A roomy en-suite adjoined the room with ample hot water and a range of basic toiletries, offering guests the option of a steamy hot shower or luxurious bath. The bathroom and towels (toellas) were clean.
The hotel staff were freindly and helpful but could only understand basic English words and phrases, so the ability to understand and speak some Spanish is recommended.
Travellers Tip: Several large grocery stores are only a 5 minute walk from the Hotel, if you need supplies. We also recommend purchasing earplugs to muffle the sound of barking stray dogs that wander the streets at night, traffic and late night revellers.

We stayed there for two nights at the end of October. Positive points: located in the city center and really close to the lake, shops, friendly staff, nearby parking. Negative points: the rooms are in serious need of a real renovation, the restaurant lacks quality, the interior courtyard (which is visible to customers) is unspeakably filthy: trash bags pile up on top of each other . However, the worst remains in the double billing and the silence of the hotel since our complaint. In fact, we had booked and paid online on a hotel comparison site, but during check-in, the receptionist asked us to pay again under the pretext that our first payment was not displayed. However, after verification, it turns out that there were indeed two payments. Since our various attempts to contact the hotel, no one has answered us: a shame and a monumental lack of professionalism!

The foto's on booking.com are taken from their best room. We booked and got a kind of big cupboard behind with a tiny bed and a tiny bathroom. It's not worth the money! Even though the staff is friendly, they tend to forget you. Sorry but I know hostals that prove more and better for less money. Booking.com should better investigate their providers, especially in Chile!!!

What a nice place. Big room, good bed, nice breakfast, TV, wifi, spotlessly clean. Super-friendly staff. All for an excellent price. I would avoid staying in Pucon, and stay here when in the general area.

This was by far the biggest mistake we could ever have made. This hotel is s..t. really it is. It is as dirty as h.ll. the bed is, well it looks like a bed. The shower, well we couldn't move and we had to ask twice for clean towels. Breakfast was not that much.
