Detailed Reviews
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! Recently build this house is mostly made out of wood with lots of glass, open and surrounded my nature. Everything is extremly clean and tidy, the beds were completely comfortable and the staff is a friendly and helpful family - even the two dogs are nice. They also offer the best Empanadas in Chile (I once had 3 big ones for lunch) and trips to all the sights in the area for a fair price, same as in the city. The location is a bit outside Pucon but easy to reach with the local bus. I took one of their bicycles once and it wasn't more than 10 minutes. Overall awesome stay, I really felt welcome and homelike, can only highly recommend this lovely place.

The Okori hostel exceeded my expectations and the hostel is just beautiful in everyway. The hosts were wonderful and went above and beyond the call of duty - always eager to make the guests experience the best of Pucón.
I stayed here for 6 nights and I honestly wish I could've stayed longer. While it was situated out of the town centre it was a nice bike ride in and the buses are cheap but somewhat unpredictable (in terms of schedule). Taxis were also available as they're not too expensive into town but in all honesty most of the action occurs out of town and all transport to activities can be located from just outside the hostel - the hosts even book the activities for you!
I shared a 4 bed dorm with one other lady. Everything was clean and spacious. The men's and women's bathrooms were separate. At the time of stay we had a range of eclectic guests which made my stay all the more enjoyable. I even went out one night in Pucón with the hosts because they're really fun to be around too!
I can't wait to return and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Pucón.

Very welcoming hosts. Warm, friendly, helpful and the food simple and basic by but delicious. Great barbeque and traditional, sustainable setup with recycling and conservation principles in mind. Would definitely come back and stay here again. Love the ambience and feel of this place.

We spent three nights at Okori while visiting Pucon - wanted something out of the city center and with some character and Okori is ended up surprising us above and beyond our expectations. All the buildings and furniture are beautiful rustic wood, with well thought out common spaces made for lounging and talking - both indoors and outside. Beds are super comfortable and the queen room had plenty of space for both of us and our 3 weeks worth of hiking luggage. The property is surrounded by lush green forest and the owners chickens and their little chicks roam outdoors, as well as their two friendly dogs and cat. The common kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Everything is kept clean and beautiful and the owners as well as hostel staff and volunteers were genuinely friendly and kind, and seemed like they were having a wonderful time running this hostel. Really memorable experience, thank you!

We stayed in the hostel for three nights in one of double bedrooms that felt more like a hotel. The facilities were excellent and the staff were absolutely fantastic including the hand knitted hats. It was very welcoming and the social areas attracted great conversation alongside some cards and other games.

Wonderful place with wonderful staff. I recommend to you that you seek to leave the climate of a big city and have a unique and enriching experience. The hostel offers you the comfort you need to feel at home.

I think this might be my favorite hostel I stayed in during my 3 months traveling through Chile! I planned to be here for 3 days but fell in love with the hostel and the area around Pucon, and stayed a whole week (and wanted to stay longer!).
It's super clean and really cozy, with the most gorgeous kitchen, fire, and big open living/dining area. The owners are sweet and accommodating. Excellent value for the money. As a laid-back mid-20s female traveler I found it to be friendly and met some wonderful people — but definitely not a party hostel (there were honeymooning couples and a young family when I was there as well).
It is a few minutes outside of the town, which I truly didn't mind. If you don't have a car and are planning to do a ton of tours that leave from town, you might find the location annoying? But I enjoyed being tucked away from the (lovely but quite touristy) town center, and it was super easy to hitchhike or catch a bus (500 pesos) to or from town. Also, many of the buses heading to nearby towns/lakes, the national parks, etc. pass by here. So I often didn't need to go into town to start my day.

Beautiful place in nature near Pucon! The owners of the Okori Hostel are very open and welcoming. It was no problem to park our van nearby. The rooms and dorms are really clean and nice! In the bathrooms you got hot water all day, and they are very clean and really beautiful as well. There is a big kitchen with a huge living and dining room! So you definitely get in touch with other travelers which makes a very warm and open feeling!
A place to be in chile!
