Nidos de Pucon is a one-of-a-kind boutique Lodge located in the quaint village of Pucon, in the south of Chile. This exclusive lodge consists of 6 large luxurious Tree-House cabins located high up in the tree tops of a native forest, inviting its guests to experience the south of Chile from a different perspective. This complex was designed in such a way so that its guests can find the comfort, relaxation, tranquility and peace that they yearn for. In combination with a personalized service of the highest quality. Its organic architecture captures the materials, aesthetics and harmony of its surroundings. Each Tree-House is embedded deep into the forest so that no other Tree-Houses or form of civilization are in sight, only the tranquil sound of silence and pleasant chirping of birds whom you share a living-space with when nestled high up in the trees. The forest is brimming with life where one is sure to encounter deers and aquatic birds. We seek for our guests to find harmony and tranquility, accompanied with a personalized service of the highest quality. The Tree-Houses are constructed 4 to 6 meters high up in the trees, and are all accessible by wooden walk-ways that navigate through the heights of the forest canopy, which communicate each cabin with the main facilities; an exclusive bar, restaurant (only serving breakfast at the moment), and a cozy lounge by the fireplace. These luxurious Tree-Houses are over 55m² each counting with: custom made King-sized beds, accompanied with fine Egyptian cotton bedding with a 800 thread count, daily house-keeping, central heating, bathrooms with slate stoned underfloor heating, jacuzzi, double showers with hydro-massage, thermo-paned windows, mini-bar, large safes, electronic key cards, large terraces with hammocks, ecological adobe walls and something very important: all of our amenities are bio-degradable. We have free parking and 24 hour round the clock service. Nidos de Pucon is within the "Lomas de Pucon" estate which extends over 600 hectares. We offer guided horse-back riding through this estate where one can explore its beautiful sceneries ranging from rivers, thick forests, and hill tops with views of the lake and volcano. Pucon also offers a variety of activities including: Hot springs, white-water rafting, hiking the active volcano "Volcan Villarrica", ski, sky-diving, mountain biking, paint-balling, zip-lining, water skiing, kayaking, hydro-speed. Nidos de Pucon offers a unique and unforgettable experience with the highest possible quality, and the warmth of the people from the south. With the snowed volcano, the beach at the lake, rivers and forests all within 15 minutes, the possibilities are endless! Due to the height of the cabins, we de not allow children under the age of 14.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed 2 nights recently and could not believe how unusual and beautiful the rooms and property. It is so quiet and peaceful yet a first class place. The service was excellent and Juan Carlos the manager worked hard to please in every way. We will be sure to tell our friends about it.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Set down a long secluded dirt road in the forrest, each tree-house is not only situated in a natural setting, but also furnished with warm and natural artifacts. In early September, our treehouse was pretty cold when we first walked in; however, it quickly warmed up with the heating turned on. The lobby, on the other hand, was pretty cold at all times. They did their best to always keep a fire going to help out with the freezing weather.
When we arrived we were greeted by the manager, Juan Carlos. He immediately took care of us from start to finish. He drove us into town for dinner, picked us up and was essentially a private tour guide for the entire trip. We had no idea the stay came with this service. We had planned on hiking Huerquehue, but it was freezing cold and rainy the entire day. Instead, Juan Carlos drove us 2 hours to Termas Geometricas, which ended up being even better than the hike we had originally wanted to take. He has an enthusiastic energy that made us feel like we were instantly friends.
On our 2nd night we had dinner prepared by their chef. It was incredible - a 3 course meal - and not only one of the best meals of the trip, but also some of the best ceviche I have ever tasted. Juan Carlos even made us a batch of Pisco Sours!
When I had booked the hotel, I originally emailed them to inquire about tours and things to do in Pucon. I didn't really hear much back, so I was not expecting to have such an amazing setup. They truly go above and beyond for this price. Each room has it's own router, so even though it's in a remote spot, wifi was never an issue.
This is a thoughtful place run by energetic and genuine people. Do not pass up the chance to stay here!

Our unique and cool treehouse room is an oasis of calm set amid the beautiful forest minutes outside of the chaos of Pucon. We stayed 4 nights and explored Villarica Volcano one day and Huerquehue park the next. The third day we rode horses and hiked on the huge property. From our private balcony we watched birds, deer and rabbits, saw the stars at night and breathed in and out....
The owners and the manager, Susan, are fluent in Spanish and English. They go out of their way to help with plans, recommend restaurants and make you feel very welcome. The hotel is 1 km up a private lane off the main road so it is very quiet... the only sound you will hear is leaves rustling in the wind. Our room was beautifully furnished with a separate sitting area and large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub for 2 and a shower with all the bells and whistles.
This was a superb experience... we recommend you try it for a few days of complete relaxation.

Beautiful tree house and restaurant. Staff is incredibly friendly. Close to town, but far enough not to get stuck in traffic or worry about parking. The rooms are very spacious, and the hammock out on the porch among the trees after a day of rafting was amazing. Staying here is worth more than the price.

It was a great one of a kind experience. There are 6 tree houses interconnected to the main lodge, all accessible through walkways 10ft off the ground. Fernando at the main desk was really helpful in giving us info and organising the tours for us. The breakfast was in the main lodge and included made to order eggs. The rooms itself were self sufficient with big bathrooms, a patio deck with table chairs and hammock. There is no airconditioning, but we were ok even in peak summer as it cools down at night. The whole area is serene peaceful and green and quiet . the only drawback is it is situated about 1.2kms inside ,and its a gravel path, off the main highway, so you need to have some conveyance. We walked mainly ,but its a little tricky at night even with a flashlight. The main town Pucõn is just 5 kms away and has great options for dining. All in all it was a perfect getaway .

+1
We kicked off our honeymoon trip at this hotel and could not be more thrilled with our choice. The food is excellent, and the hospitality is top notch. The rooms are so unique and well done, very cozy and romantic. Fernando welcomed us and was so kind, and Juan Carlos was our host at dinner and after dinner at a wonderful and toasty fire pit just outside. Given that it is Christmas, we were treated as family and felt truly at home. We are staying one more night and will be sad to leave this beautiful place!

Nidos de Pucon is a must! great place for a romantic get away and the concept of luxury tree houses is genius, brings you back to your childhood!! many things to see inside the hotel as such, for example the tree houses are suspended 6m above ground where you can see many breeds of animals below!! exciting stuff!!

Nidos de Pucon is a unique and lovely hotel and I'm glad we visited. The highlight was sipping wine in a hammock on the deck. On the flip side, it was also unfortunately the worst night of sleep I got on a 2 week trip due to a combo of the bed and noise from a party and dogs nearby.

This is the second time I've stayed here and I will stay a third time as well. The concept is incredible! You have your own tree house (room with super comfortable bed, very nice showers and spacious). You enjoy your privacy and the relaxing feeling of being surrounded by nature. I suggest you rent a car as taxis are not that accessible in Pucon. The staff is very nice and helpful. I did notice that they didn't change the towels but advise, and they will do so. I highly recommend staying here!

I'm trying to do the same as well... is this place open still?
The rooms are quite big enough to accommodate the sofa/bed so just ask in advance. Also the walk from the main road to the resort is about 3/4 mile so its ideal to hv your own transportation.
Hi Ellen! I've never tried driving a rented car from Argentina to Chile and returning it at Chile. Have you tried to contact the car rental office directly? I always fly to Temuco and rent a car at the airport which we drop off at the airport on our way back to Santiago. I'm not sure if you can rent in Argentina and leave it in Chile (never heard of that before). My suggestion is to call and ask and if not, give it a shot to the bus drive and then just rent the car in Pucon. Good luck and enjoy your trip!
All Tree Houses have double beds. Some rooms, such as Codorniz, have double beds that can be transformed into 2 twin beds. In your case, we recommend reserving 2 rooms.
