Detailed Reviews
Hostal Graciela is an excellent place to stay in Pucón. It is close to the main bus station, all the tour companies, and the best restaurants or grocery stores. The staff there is excellent - curious, helpful, professional. The rooms are clean, with smart TV and 24/7 hot water. The breakfast they provided is fresh and full of local variety. If you need anything, Henry will take care of you. He speaks English very well, which was nice for me. If I visit Pucón again, I will book with them!

My husband and I stayed at this property for 3 nights. We took a room with a double bed and private bathroom. Everything was nice and very clean. The bathroom was big and the room of reasonable size. There is a common area with a complete kitchen, with an electric kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and dishes that all gust can use at any time. It is very convenient. Yet, the rate includes breakfast, which turned out to be better than expected. You can choose between scrambles eggs, ham&cheese or salami&cheese, and the you get yogurt, bread, butter and marmalade and orange juice (of course your choice of coffee or tea). I only missed having some fruit, buy you can buy some nearby and store it in the fridge. Also, one of the nights our room was very very hoy (no fan or ac) but I guess this is not frequent as the place is mostly prepared for cold weather. Location is great, close to downtown and the lake beach. The hostess is very kind and helpful. Wifi works well.

We were two couples travelling in high season . Unfortunately there wasn't too much available in Pucon so this hotel is what we ended up with. My husband and I were on the main floor with no external windows in our room and as such it was too warm and quite stale smelling.
I am not usually picky when it comes to hotels so that wasn't really the deal breaker. What was is the noise. I do like hostels that have a social atmosphere and can accept some nighttime noise in favor of some comraderie. This was not that. We were located across from what I gather is the owner Ingrid's apartment and into all our of the night there would be children yelling, appliances running and the TV on loud. Upstairs my friends complained that there were kids running through the halls and playing hide and seek. When they asked the owner to do something about it she wouldn't and it clearly seemed like they were friends and receiving some kind of preferential treatment.
All this is not great when you're climbing Villarica and your start to the day is 5:3OAM.
I actually took it upon myself multiple times to get up and close Ingrid's apartment door myself so the noise would travel less, it finally stuck at 1 AM. I tried to get their attention down the hallway in their apartment the first couple of times I had gotten out of bed and they couldn't hear me because the TV was so loud!
Most of the people at this hostel were locals and spoke no English and most seemed cool with this dynamic and good for them. But be warned as a foreigner who like me is looking for either a social experience or the ability to go to bed to enjoy the outdoor adventures of Pucon this place is probably not for you.
Other than that breakfast is fine. There are tasty eggs and Ingrid seemed nice enough. She has no English. Value for money not great compared to other places in the area I would say.
If you do end up there be sure to pay cash because credit card is much more expensive.

I stayed at Hostal Graciela for 5 nights and everything was very smoothly arranged. I already started to be in touch with the hostel via whatsapp before my stay, which came in very handy as my flight was delayed for 2 hours and I could inform them easily. Even though I arrived only around midnight then it was no problem and they were very understanding and someone was waiting for me when I arrived.
The hostel is located very close to the city center, only one parallel street to the main street, in a side street and therefor very quiet. Stepping outside on the street you get a stunning view on the volcano Villarica.
The room itself was good and clean, very comfortable bed! For myself the double room was a good size, for too its probably a bit cramped. I had a room on the ground floor and there was a window, but it was very close to a wall, so the room was rather dark. The bathroom was rather small, but has everything one would need.
I think the hostel is family owned and everyone is very friendly. They don't speak any English but they really make an effort (getting out some English words or helping you out in any way). I managed fine with a few Spanish words only and their and my effort to make it work!
Breakfast was basic (even though i think you can get more options when you know your Spanish breakfast vocabulary! :D ). There's also a kitchen that can be used.

Me and my wife, rent this host previously from santiago due to high demand in Ironman week end. When we arrived we been disapointed with tiny room, no windows, too noisy at night (other passengers, skiny walls), and too warm. After that we have to move, looking an upper category hotel at same price that this hostel.
I have to be fair with Ingrid, the woman in charge, she is extremely nice.

My boyfriend and me stayed 3 nights at Hostal Graciela. To be fair we chose this hostel because of the really good ratings.
Ingrid who was in charge of everything was nice seemed a bit too stressed and rushed around all the time. Our room was surprisingly small, as backpackers we didn't really know where to store our backpacks. The room smelled a bit because there was no option to open any windows after showering hence the smell we figured.
The breakfast choices were good.

I stayed here 4 nights as the town and hostel are so comfortable to take a break from long travel. The hostel is very clean, especially the bathroom. It locates just a few minutes from all the bus stations and a few blocks from the main streets. The view of volcano is right there at the door. Owner is very helpful and gives advices on where to go. Not a party hostel as guests are mostly family and mature couple.

Really liked this hostel. It's very central and yet on a quiet street. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was close to the common area and balcony so could sometimes hear people talk but this really didn't bother us.

We had a very comfortable stay at this family-run hostel. Comfortable beds, two shared bathrooms, two kitchens, and a balcony overlooking the volcano. Its also well located in the centre of town, close to everything. They do an early breakfast service which is perfect if you have an excursion to the volcano or any other early start.

Hola, el hostal cuesta alrededor de 50 dólares por noche la habitación doble. Hay que llevar dólares o pesos chilenos porque los pesos argentinos no los reciben en ningún lado.
