Nice cabins, well equipped (refrigerator, wood stove heating/air conditioning, grill, microwave, kettle, juicer, etc.), very cozy, clean, comfortable beds and pillows. They have parking, a nice view of the lake, 3 swimming pools and everything you need.
Upon our arrival everything was impeccable (cabin, bedding and towels) and simply the whole experience was great.

Our family stayed at the enchanting Cabanas Alun Kuyen over Christmas 2015 for 5 days with our 2 grown children. The property is 10' outside Pucôn overlooking the lake, quiet, with beautiful views of Volcan Villarrica. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen is large and functional although there are many excellent dining options in town. The patio abuts a large field where people play golf and throw around a frisbee. The cabana is large enough that four people have plenty of space. Wifi is excellent. The pool is refreshing after a long day hiking. Service is superb. The cabin was cleaned every day with new towels, as needed. Monica did a wonderful job of laundering our clothes twice during our stay. The area has so many great outdoor spots to explore with great river rafting, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and thermal spas. We spent 5 days but could easily have stayed longer. It was so relaxing and this was such a beautiful place to relax and explore. It does not get much better than this.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alun Kuyen. Although the place is out of the main town, its worth the effort to fully enjoy the serene surroundings. The cabanas are fully stocked and extremely comfortable. I only wish there was a grocery store closer, but we made it work. Definitely rent a car if you are planning to stay here!

Whoever sleeps in these cabins will have a 40-meter antenna above their heads and will be supporting the new owners who, without the consent or consultation of their neighbors, are installing a disproportionate antenna over families, children, schools and projects associated with Life and the Community, where respect is the basis! If they cancel the project, they win over an entire community and future clients!!

I must start by saying that in no place I have witnessed so many cabins so there must be plenty of options. We stayed in Alun Kuyen for a entire week during August 2017 (low winter season) and it was amazing and relaxing. A 5 minute ride by car to downtown Pucon allows you to be close enough for groceries, excursion gatherings or town walk. Our cabin was very spacious with lake and Villarica volcano view and were very well equipped with own BBQ grill, washing machine and of course a very nice and well needed chimney (wood provided daily). This is a 7 cabin hotel well designed for privacy with an open pool (we did not use it). Dozens of birds fly around early morning for you to admire. Staff were very nice. Cabin is cleaned and arranged daily. We we will be back someday.
Enjoy your stay, jr

This was the last stop of our 16 day trip in Chile. We easily decided it was the best. We got good instructions from the owner Heinz, but missed the turn the first time. The gravel road going up the hill can get interesting at times as it is not too wide and more than once we encountered a large truck wanting most of the road.
The view from the grounds is fantastic. We had 3 warm and sunny days. Our cabin was 3 bedrooms with room to sleep 8. There was an en suite bath in the master bedroom and another hall bath to be shared by others. The 2 other bedrooms had bunks and the larger one also had a twin bed. All had larger windows. The living room had sofas and a picture window looking out toward the pool and Lake Villarrica. The kitchen had everything your wound need including a washing machine. (The clothes line was to the back of the cabin.) A round dining table was already set for us. We went to the markets in Pucon and got cheese, fruit, bread and wine for an evening supper each day. The patio had the same great view of the lake and tables and chairs. There was also a grill for outside cooking.
As others have mentioned the WIFI is spotty. It was out completely our last evening and morning.
In late November the pool water was still cold from the cool evenings, but the swim was refreshing. Lounge chairs and umbrellas surrounded the deck. In one direction from the pool your could see the lake and from another a view of the smoking Villarrica Volcano.
We would definitely return.

+1
Nice cabanas 10 minutes from Pucon, in relaxing aerea, overlooking on vulcan. Cabanas are nice, comfortable, cozy and clean, very well equipped, kitchen has everything that you might need- blender, mixer, boiling kettle, microwave... There is barbecue outside, so you can enjoy this place properly. As we visited Pucon just a week after school started, it wasn't busy, as matter of fact we were only guests here. They cleaned a pool for us, so we enjoyed it with our kids. 3 golden retrievers were making us company all the time, and 1 cat as well. Our kids loved it. Would recommend and would come back!

I only stayed 1 night in a cabin for 6. We were 4 and the price was a fraction.
Mauricio, the administrator was very kind, making us a tour of the place and telling us that every single detail in the cabins was made to let you feel like in home. Indeed! There is a full kitchen with everything and very nice decorated. The rooms were big and the beds extremely comfortable. The wooden walls, furniture, flowers everywhere, handmade looms and wall lamps, really change your mood. The shower is incredible as well.
The view of the Villarrica lake from the living room is incredible.... you can't have that sight if you stay in Pucón, due Alun Kuyen cabins are on the hills, 4 km from the downtown. You need a car to get to the downtown or at least a couple of bikes, though.
The service is very good and the ladies bring fresh bread and fruit pie every morning, at a very good price.
There is a very nice pool in the garden with an even better lake sight.
I wish I could have stayed more that one night, but there weren't more time nor more money, finishing my vacations. I don't know if the Price/Quality relationship is good for every pocket, but I would come back definitly

Pucon was as far south as we could possibly drive during this visit to Chile, and the road in from Ruta 5 was slower than expected being only one lane each way, Alun Kuyen is reached via a dirt road about six kilometres from the town centre and is beautifully positioned with a view, that on a clear day, takes in the lake and surrounding mountains. Our two-bedroom cabin was well appointed with two bedrooms and one bathroom and a capacity to sleep six people (four in bunk beds and two in a double). The only downsides to the accommodation were no internet (Alun Kuyen is advertised as having free WIFI but on our two-day visit, we had no connection at all) and uncomfortable wooden furniture in the living room; had it been dry, we would have brought in a couple of chairs from the patio that had back support. Despite this, first impressions were very good as the cabin had been stylised with a lot of attention to detail.

Stayed in a two bedroom cabin- which is nice and has a well equipped kitchen. Location is 10 min drive from town centre. The manager and house keeping lady are nice and helpful.
On the flip side, the carpet in the living area was very dusty and dirty. The main bedroom headboards were dusty and had a tiny cob web as well. It seems that the cabin is cleaned but not deepcleaned.
One afternoon, we returned to find plant twigs lying in the kitchen area, on another evening there was a noisy grass mowing machine at work at 8 in the evening. Overall while the cabins are nice, the place upkeep needs to be reviewed.
