Detailed Reviews
It was quite a long drive that day, coming from Argentina. On arrival I was welcomed by a member of staff who showed me the studio #1, on the side on the reception. But it was small, dark and with no view or outdoor space. She must have noticed my reaction because when the owner came to greet me, I was straightaway offered the cabana #7, on the top of the hill (quite a hike especially with luggages and groceries) but with an amazing view of the lake, a lovely terrace and close to the pool which was a refreshing (literally) plus after our drive on dusty roads...
This cabaña was really gorgeous with a sofa curled on the side of big windows, a small wooden stove (probably very useful in the winter), a big double bedroom and a smaller one with bunks, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, a small bathroom. Of course it’s a bit old fashioned but it was very cosy and you could really spend a few days here.
On the other side, it is far from the centre of town. It’s really a place to relax and self cater. Not if you want to experiment the hustle and bustle of Pucón.

Our apartment was clean and very spacious, with 2 big bedrooms. We stayed there with a family of 5, but 6 would still have been very comfortable. Beautiful view over the lake. The building is on the main road, but when you close the windows you don't hear much noise anymore. Town center of Pucon is a short drive away. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

Madamme Solange Hauck (owner of the business), I am sorry it took me so long to get to write this review, since I went in January. But, as I promised you I would do it, I hope you get to read this someday.
My stay at the Los Gualles Apart Hotel was nothing short of spotless. I had nothing to complain, nothing to be uncomfortable about. Let's go on to describe this.
It was a small, I guess 20-30m² bedroom + small kitchen and a small bathroom. Everything was very clean and smelling good when we arrived.
When I got to the airport, there was only one car rental service station opened. I had planned to get there earlier but the flight was very delayed. I managed to rent a car but they had no GPS. I have never been to Chile before, but I live in Brazil and the roads here are not known for the quality of the road information signs, and I have always managed to get wherever I needed to back home. From the airport, if I'm not mistaken, it was a 115km ride, I guess, under the heaviest rain, at about 22h. It was actually very good because I had to go very slow on the two-way roads with the sharp corners and this meant that I could see the signs of the hotels. Nevertheless, the Los Gualles Apart Hotel is conveniently named after a bridge (Maddame Hauck may confirm that), so when you read the sign telling you about the bridge, you know you're close.
There was a young man waiting for us when we arrived at about midnight. He was extremely polite, even though we were actually almost two hours behind schedule. He set us up on the room, explained everything we needed to know and also gave directions and maps to a market that was open after midnight.
On the first day in Pucon we went to one of the Termas. We also went to some lake beaches (there is one across the road from the hotel), to the volcano, and also to a place named Las Termas Geometricas. I remember driving over 400km in one day in this area from Lake Caburgua to Lake Calafquén, which is near the Termas.
It's a very short drive to Playa Negra, which I think is the most crowded. If you drive around Lake Villarica (between Caburgua and Calafquén) there are beaches that feel private. Other cool places you can't miss are the Salto Los Copihues and the Parque Nacional Huerquehue.
The rooms are VERY well lit and very spacious. I find it very rare to find well lit rooms when I travel. The owners save money by removing light bulbs. I have seen rooms with two of them, one on each side of the bed, it was terrible.
The kitchen is complete. They have an oven, microwave, small fridge, and all you might need to cook. Some pots, pans, knifes, plates, forks and so on.
The Wi-Fi, unfortunately, didn't work so well, but I could use it on the iPhone, though, so I think it might have been my laptop. It set me back on the planning and stuff but it was ok.
There was a 29" TV with some sort of SKY, but honestly I didn't get to use it. I just turned it on for 2 seconds.
The shower water was hot as hell, which was great. It was possible to regulate but it's good to have great heating for the kitchen, to pre-heat the water and stuff.
The floor was comfortable wooden panels and there was a small fan heater, which was more than enough. As we cooked and used the appliances, the room would get considerably warm. I remember one night it was 8C outside and inside it was 24 without the heater on.
There was a double bed and a single bed on the side. The single bed was used for the bags. The double is very comfortable, it was great to be there after a long day of being in the lakes, walking around the volcano, going to the pozones.
The city center of Pucón is 4km down the road from the Hotel. I only went there for the supermarket needs, though. There's so much nature I didn't even bother with indoor activities.
Parking was free and available.
The owner is extremely nice and when we met her, she gave us all the tips we needed and saved our trip there. Pucón turned out to be the best part of a 22 day trip through Chile which took us from San Pedro de Atacama through Santiago and Concón, and also Puerto Varas. Everything she recommended us to do was of very good taste and I found out to be really worth my time doing them.
This is a great place to stay. I felt like home there. Really, there's no other choice. I know I'm going back to that place and I know where I'm staying!
Madamme Hauck! I'm sorry for the smell of smoke when I left. I wasn't smoking cigarettes, I had just smoked a salmon filet for lunch and the smoke from the leafs was more than I thought it would be! But I didn't break the rules, though.
VERY GOOD! EXCELLENT!

The place is clean, the personal is nice, they accepts pets but the place is right on the road, very noisy at night, the wifi works really poorly. For the same price, you have mich better options around.

+1
Pucon is very touristy, there are so many cabanas and resorts. Prices are vary depends on a budget. The location of this cabanas is about 4 km from the center of Pucon is good for people with car
Private parking for guest is right down on sight. The lady owner is very friendly once we arrived she took us directly to our room ( only Spanish speaking). We're lucky to have a room on the fist floor some rooms are on the top where only accessible through stairs. First thing I saw is our small balcony facing to a lake.
Nice bedroom with tile floor a big carpet on the entrance which really isn't necessary in my opinion. A very spacious room
The room equipped with kitchenette a simi studio style. We had one double bed a cable channel television and free wifi.
The room is very basic for the price. Try their cabanas, but this located on top is not recommendable for people with big suitcase
The bathroom is very small hard to understand how the toilet assigned against the wall and no so much space to sit
It has clean shower which was the best I saw in the bathroom
The fitted kitchen is nice, complete with untensils, fridge, oven, kettle, microwave, table and chairs
Los Guellas de la Candelaria Apart Hotel has a small swimming pool on top with a lake view. The stairs are the only way to reach the pool.
Is a budget room for 47 US dollar. If you pay with credit card or Chilean Peso 19% tax will be added in the room bill. If you pay with US dollar cash NO tax added
