Of course, far from four stars - the room is old, some furniture needs to be replaced (rubbing everywhere), but, overall, not bad. They provided a crib and even a chair for feeding. The only thing is, there are cold tiles everywhere, so we had to buy a baby mat - if you're traveling with small children, keep in mind, without a mat no way (the tiles are straight ice). The apartment is very spacious - we took 2 bedrooms and a hall, as well as three toilets. In the morning, at the reception, they treat you to croissants and coffee, cookie day. It's about 10 minutes on foot to the nearest tz, about the same distance to 7/11. Not a bad option for a short stay, but still, it doesn't cost that much (too old room stock).

2 adults and 2 kids under 12 stayed here for 9 nights. Got the 614 sq ft 2 bedroom, one living room apartment. Plus - Lots of space, big comfy bed and linen, lots of light in the room, secured access with card required even for lifts, very clean, nice thick towels, clean pool which was quite small and only 1m at deepest end, close to local fare of Tiong Bahru (but finding path to MRT took a bit of exploring). Minus - very tiny bathrooms, no baths, they could have taken a foot of space by the closets to extend the bathroom or better yet, combine the washroom with the closet, not really close to any tourist attractions, paper thin walls, can hear and smell next door, not much choice and very expensive breakfast.

Room Tip:Pick a room at the end of corridor, that way you only have one neighbour as walls are too thin.

Excellent location, excellent service and staff.. very clean and had everything we needed. Perfect accommodation in Singapore for a family of 5! Only thing is the pool is a bit too shallow but great for a quick dip to cool off after hot days shopping.

Stayed 3 nights at the end of July 2024 in a 2-room Louis Kienne Serviced Residences apartment in the Havelock area - Singapore with me, wife and our 2 children aged 13 and 11.
Here's what we can share:
Location:
About 300 meters walk toward Havelock MRT and 200 meters walk to the nearest Food Court in the opposite direction, quite strategic considering we always use public transport and walk during Singapore.
But it'll be hard when it rains.
Apartment:
Consists of 2 bedrooms and a common area where there is kitchen appliances and a refrigerator, for its space of about 160 cm is comfortable enough for both.
The toilet area especially the bathroom is a weird thing because it is very small especially compared to the existing wardrobe.
Facilities:
Cakes, coffee and snacks are served in the lobby near the reception every morning.
Provided packaging water the first time we entered to refill the drinking water next we had to pick up in the gym.
Every Tuesday, the sanitary came to clean the room.
There's an interesting thing, two days in the morning we stayed there, about 5 a.m., there was a fire alarm ringing, but a few seconds later it was notified through the speaker in the room if it turned out to be a false alarm.
It very disturbed our rest.
We didn't experience it on the last day because we checked out around 3am.
For three nights at a cost of about 20 million rupees, I'm not sure I'll go back there

Liked · The proximity to the MRT was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The information on an A4 page with cleaning dates, information about the property should be printed for the customer as opposed to us reading it at reception. The 2 bathrooms in the room was great.
Disliked · The gym was not a gym - it was a tiny studio room that was converted into a very small gym. Once inside, you were locked in with anyone else using the room. The pool was very small on the roof. The photos looked deceptively larger. The one bedroom apartment marketed as a lounge with a sleeper couch is really unusable. The sleeper couch was so uncomfortable and in bad repair. The room can only really house 2 people. The blinds in the master bedroom do not go from wall to wall resulting in light streaming through the window.

While the location of the serviced apartment was convenient, my experience was marred by several significant issues. Firstly, the housekeeping service is only provided twice a week, which is inconvenient for families with children. Additionally, the lack of room service and concierge services made the stay less enjoyable. There is also absolutely zero service from the front desk staff. The rooms are also not very clean. We found several strand of hair in the bathroom presumably from previous guests. Rooms are very noisy too. The bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable, and the sofa bed in the living room was particularly problematic. It felt like lying directly on metal bars, making it virtually impossible to get a restful night's sleep. Furthermore, the rooms were smaller than expected. Considering the price range, there are better serviced apartments available elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to others.

Even though I'd emailed the reception that I'd be arriving at 10am and I needed to check in early because of the Covid measures at that time, despite having to pay an additional 125SGD, the room was only available 40 minutes later. I have no complaints if it was free, but if there was a fee expected, then it's quite unpleasant. They did offer a bag of snacks and drinks to make up for the delay.
We booked a 1 bedroom and unfortunately, the state of the room was disappointing especially after the delay. It wasn't clean - the floors were sticky, the rug was filthy, the bathroom had personal toiletries from the previous occupant, there were ants on the table and there was a wet mouldy smell in the room from lack of good ventilation.
The location is great - close to many hawker centres and a mall. The bus stop is a minute from the back entrance so it's convenient, though the Great World MRT wasn't open yet.
The reception were always friendly.
There is a roof top pool which was convenient for exercise.
I'd recommend it because it was good value but if you are particular about cleanliness, then it may not be suitable for you.

Stayed with our family and I would not recommend it for the following reasons.
1. The apartments are not safe. Staying on the 8th floor there are large windows in every room that have no safety mechanisms meaning you need to very carefully monitor your children. 2. We had a broken coffee table in our room. It took 3 phone calls, 2 visits to the front desk and 2 days before this was replaced. The staff simply had no interest. 3. Our room either had a broken sewerage line or was right next to one. The room smelt the entire time. Again, no effort or interest by staff to try to rectify the situation. No offer to move us to another room - we just suffered through it.
I emailed the generic contact line before posting this review. "Amirah" from Customer Service said that someone from Management would be in touch, copying in "John Martinez". No response in over a week despite multiple follow up emails. The staff just don't care.
We didn't have a pleasant experience - your might be difference. We won't be staying here again.

The apartment was well designed and furnished and the location was good, however there was zero service from the front desk staff.
They couldn't fix basic issues like providing an extra duvet or fixing a broken shower, and didn't even bother to apologize. The apartment wasn't cleaned to the same standard as a hotel room, and soundproofing was poor, on one day I could hear every word of a (loud) conversation in the room next door. Occasionally garbage piled up near the communal bins on each floor, partly blocking the fire exit. I emailed management to complain about the maintenance issues and didn't get any reply.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay as it was same price but much larger than a 4* hotel room, but unfortunately management have a lot to improve, so as a serviced apartment - 5 stars for the apartment and 0 stars for the "serviced" part.

Cons: room was dusty, towels smell bad, rusty kettle, damaged iron tip, no free parking, no standard amenities in room example toothbrush. Housekeeping quality is lacking, you can request for a change of bedsheet and housekeeping really change only the bedsheet despite seeing the rubbish bin full to the brim in room but choose to ignored it.
Summary: This is a service apartment that does not have all the service qualities of a service apartment. Only spend your money here if you are after the location or if you are not fussy about cleanliness or service.

Response from Residence Manager, General Manager at Louis Kienne Service Apartments
Responded 7 Sept 2020
Dear raylim82, Thank you taking the time to share your review. While every resident's expectations and preferences are different, we will always endeavour to address residents’ concerns where possible. We allow residents/guests to park on complimentary basis if they stay for one month and above. We trust you were aware of the frequency of your apartment servicing as per your reservations conditions, as the frequency of apartment servicing is indicated on all reservation confirmations. In addition, all residents are reminded of the frequency upon check-in. We understand that we actually serviced your apartment for a second time as you had called to inform your child had spilled Milo drink on the bedsheet. Hence, our response to your request for a change of bedsheet was in fact a second servicing in addition to the first. As with most serviced residences, we provide toothpaste and toothbrush only upon request. With regards to your comment on our housekeeping not clearing your rubbish bin despite having noticed it, we conducted an investigation and have counselled the housekeeping attendant as we do not find this acceptable. Even though the second servicing was not the normal schedule as per the reservation condition, she should have emptied the rubbish bin when she saw it and it is not a difficult task at all. We apologise for this oversight and would like to clarify this is not our usual quality of service, especially where cleanliness and service is concerned, of which many of our residents/guests have had good experience. Meanwhile, it is heartening to know you found our location good. Please feel free to contact us at louis-havelock@louisworldwide.com if you require any assistance. We look forward to your next visit! Yours sincerely, Tori Ahmad | Residence Manager
