Guests seeking convenient comfort fare within the hotel can find them at the hotel’s Yummo Chow Cafe. Come and try our savoury beef burger filled with cheese or soft shell crab burger that will fill your tummy and hearts to the fullest. Located within close proximity to facilities such as the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, City Hall MRT interchange, historical monuments and attractions such as CHIJMES and the Singapore Art Museum, and the bustling shopping belt in the Bugis and Suntec City district, Hotel NuVe Heritage stands in good stead to provide an elaborate hospitality experience that is not confined by its size. Design and Heritage With a traditional five-foot way and a distinct facade marked with patterns and design elements iconic of colonial architecture, the hotel seeks to present a memorable and unique stay for guests by recreating the warm and familiar hospitality that was once characteristic of the precinct. Previously known as the “Hainan Second Street”, Purvis Street was part of the Hainanese enclave in Singapore since the 1900s. The community established the area’s affinity with hospitality as many of the Hainanese immigrants worked as butlers for British families or hotels during the colonial era. Additionally, the building used to house a traditional Hainanese bakery, Nam Tong Lee, which was a gathering point for the new immigrant community when people of diverse backgrounds would meet at the bakery for traditional Hainanese coffee and pastries. This innate association with the lodging trade and the location’s history of camaraderie manifests into the distinctive hospitality experience that Hotel NuVe Heritage has to offer today. The iconic Chinese characters“南同利”(Nam Tong Lee) still flank the entrance of the hotel on the original facade of the shophouse, an indelible mark of the site’s rich history. Rustic white brick walls in the hotel’s lobby and rooms build a sense of timelessness for the space and conjure up images of the shophouse’s origins and dynamic past. Black and white floor tiles and classic mosaics bestow the elegance that is characteristic of Singapore’s historical architecture, while keeping to the hotel’s minimalistic design mantra.

This was my first ever stay at a boutique hotel, and we thought we'd give it a try for our family staycation. And, yes, the place is winner.
The Hotel Nuve Heritage is located, what I would call the "sweet spot" of the city centre, ie, not too near, not too far. It is in between 2 MRT stations, City Hall and Bugis, and, as you can guess correctly, there is no shortage of amenities nearby. Everything you need and want is within a very comfortable walking distance. The hotel is in the middle of Purvis Street, surrounded by lifestyle places, restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately, the pandemic has reduced activity on this once-busy and thriving street to mere crickets. Directly across the hotel is the Killeny cafe if you want your coffee and toast.
The hotel itself is not fancy, and, being a boutique hotel, there is not grand lobby or foyer. However, do expect gracious service at the check in. Our host, Joel, was cheerful and answered our queries to a "t". The hotel was experiencing a IT outage with the keycard system, so each time a guest leaves their room, the staff would need to accompany the guest to the lift, and to the room to open it. This was a hassle, but Joel and another hotel staff (a young lady, Ms Nur, I think) handled this task without complaint. The room was what we expected, clean, tight and compact. There wasn't much space to move around once you place your luggage. The bed gave out a warm and cozy vibe, and, indeed once we sat on it, we didn't really want to get up. We were very pleasantly surprised that in addition to the usual teabags and kettle, the hotel had one of those fancy coffee making machines, and you can make your own cappuccino with the capsules provided. Now, you don't get that machine even in a proper hotel. Another positive was that we were informed by the staff that the items in the hotel fridge were complimentary. Wow, that was a first. So to me, that's a score point for the Nuve!
I suppose the only downside to mention is the fact that since dining-in was out of the question (due to this phase 2 heightened alert), we had to have our dinner in our room. Not the fault of the hotel, of course. The room was built for a stay-in, not having dinner, and we had a somewhat challenging time, making sure we didn't get in each other's way.
Overall, our family's staycation, albeit for only one night, was an immensely positive experience. Unfortunately, the pandemic and the heightened alert put a massive dampener on everything. The depressing atmosphere hits you in the face once you exit from the welcoming confines of the hotel. So much so that you didn't really want to go too far away. and just head back to your room.

It is good to hear you truly enjoyed the "Eating like a local" experience with us. :) All our staff at the hotel (both front desk and housekeeping) work really hard to meet all guests' expectations and they would be so happy to see this review when I show them this later! We booked the Explorer Suite for one night to commemorate our wedding anniversary. The room was quite spacious though a bit different from the photos. We were quite amazed that such a small place can packed so many rooms. This is a boutique hotel by the way.
The room is cozy enough for couples. I don't think it is suitable for families because the toilet door is translucent. The room was clean and comfortable. It feature a high ceiling and windows, a large TV with movie channel and a bathtub.
The plus point for this hotel is the location which is very central thus very convenient for you to move around and get to places. The large bathroom is also a nice touch for this room though people from the outside can see inside via the bathroom door. There is also a sliding door opening the whole bathroom but that can be close off.
One main issue we faced is the hot water which takes a very long time to reach. When we called the receptionist, we were told to wait for 5 mins. In my thoughts, 5 mins is very long to wait and quite a waste of water. Under normal circumstances, i would have finish bathing within 5 mins. True enough, after 5 mins, the water slowly becomes hot. We have feedback to the hotel and was told that the hot water tanks was quite far from our room. Nevertheless waiting 5 mins is not acceptable so i hope the hotel would do something about it.
Other than that, we truly enjoy our night in the explorer suite and will come again if situation permits it.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel NuVe Heritage in Singapore! We stayed in the Photographer Suite, which was a beautifully designed and spacious suite. The room had two large, comfortable beds, a generous bathroom, and a wonderful extra touch—complimentary soft drinks and snacks in the minibar, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel was clean and smelled nice everywhere, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home.
One thing to note is that when arriving at the hotel in the evening, the exterior might not give the best first impression, but don’t let that fool you! Once inside, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the stylish decor, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service.
The location of this hotel is also perfect
Overall, Hotel NuVe Heritage is a hidden gem in Singapore, offering great amenities and exceptional service. We highly recommend it!

Currently staying in this hotel. To start with the positives:the staff seem really nice and the hotel is centrally located.
Negatives:AVOID STAYING HERE for the following reasons:
1.Poor hygiene standards. This involves smell of sewage coming up at night as the drain cover is next to the shower.I was offered plug-air freshner which doesn’t help.See photo.
2The drain cover is not sealed properly and drain flies come up and get into your room.See photo.
3.Very loud laughing and screaming by other guests and poor sound isolation. The standard of behaviour of guests is not what I would expect for the price I paid.I had to call the reception several times after the Indian chap next door sounded like he was having a physical fight with someone.
4.Cleaning standards are not the best,to be honest.I asked for my room to be hoovered and it never seems to be.See photo.
There does not seem to be an escalation point past the staff at the desk and this is an unprofessional set-up.
Walking into the hotel means you have to enter through a restaurant which can be challenging to walk past all the tables with your baggage.
I will be using the photos I have taken to escalate hygiene standards to the relevant authorities here.

Location Hotel is located in the city with easy access to all the attractions. In addition to this there are many restaurants nearby and numerous shopping places too. Check in Hotel reception is located inside a restaurant so we had some issues to locate the reception and had to call them to ask for the location of reception. Rooms Room was bit small but it wasn’t a surprise because the check in staff had informed as at the time of check in. I would recommend a room with Window if you are staying with your family. Breakfast Breakfast was served at a eating place opposite to the hotel. It was a simple breakfast with limited options to chose from which was quite disappointing. Not sure they have the same setup before the COVID time or this is a temporary arrangement.

Great location, surrounded by local shops and food. Accessible to several MRT stations (e.g. Bugis, Esplanade, City Hall)
Room is clean, facilities work well.
Hot water does reek unpleasant smell, otherwise the shower room is awesome.
Staff is amazing and helpful.

Upon checking in, I was impressed with the layout of the room( photographer suite). It has a unique layout of a loft style and is definitely spacious for 4pax. It has 2 sinks, a bathtub and rain shower. It also has another sink outside, along with a mini bar station with numerous wine glasses.
It provided us with complimentary snacks and drinks that are stored in the from the fridge. The bed is comfy and pillows are soft. The room looks pretty clean.
However, they have us 2 towels; 1 with an obvious strain on it and the other towel is town and looks like a rag cloth.
We called the room service to replace new towels and they did quickly and apologies for the unpleasant experience. Apart from that, the light switch is confusing. There were multiple switches but it seems only a few is working.
In addition to that, the bathtub experience wasn't a pleasant one. The bathroom tends to get flooded easily.
Overall, it's good for a one night stay.

My family of four took this as the base for our 3D2N staycation over the National Day long weekend. The room, with the additional queen for the kids meant walking around the room was a little cramped but that was okay. Otherwise, it would have been quite spacious. The bathroom was roomy enough and, besides, we were mainly using this as a rest-stop between exploring the area and shopping.
The complimentary mini bar (of beers, soft drinks, coffee, tea and snacks) was a nice bonus and the bathroom amenities were also pleasantly bountiful. Overall, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The customer service was very friendly and helpful and that was nice. The breakfast is across the street at Killiney and was both satisfying and filling.
NuVe Heritage is conveniently located within walking distance of Bugis Junction, Bugis Village, Suntec City, Raffles City, Esplanade and dozens of other eateries and places of interest. I wold recommend this hotel for the no-frills traveller who likes a few perks and great location.

I was transferred here from Nuve at Clarke Quay and have received excellent service from both Nuve at Clarke Quay and Nuve Heritage. Every care was taken to ensure I had a comfortable stay, from check-in all the way through. Especially Ally the manager from Nuve Clarke Quay, to Joel and the manager, the reception and housekeeping team at Nuve Heritage, thank you all for making me feel at home.
The room is clean and spacious. Location is fantastic with lots of famous good food along Purvis street. Super convenient and central, highly recommend.

Booked for the Artist Suite which has an outdoor bathtub. I love the ambiance at night sitting on the balcony! The room is clean! The bed and pillow are so comfortable! All the staff from housekeeping to the reception is very cheerful, helpful and knowledgable. For my room, I get the whole floor to myself as it's the only room at that level. Price is moderate. The location is convenient and centralized.
