Many guests commend the Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview for its commendable amenities such as clean rooms, a variety of dining options, and professional banquet services. The hotel's prime location near Clarke Quay and convenient transportation is also a highlight among travelers. While the staff's friendliness and professionalism receive praise, some visitors recount instances of slow service. Room quality is generally well-regarded for cleanliness and comfort, although there are occasional remarks about size and odors. The overall atmosphere is noted for its upkeep and inviting lobby displays, but opinions on the hotel's value for money are mixed.

This is a really great hotel with nice room, great lobby bar and great staff. The start of my Singapore trip went okay, I got off my 24 hour journey and checked in at 8am, thanks for accomodating me. I got half way up the elevator and tapped my pocket to feel for my cell phone and realized I didn't have it. I raced back down hoping I'd left it on the counter, but it wasn't there. IT WAS IN THE CAB. Now I am completely in a panic but luckily for me Shaiffuddin was behind the desk and "let's call your phone."
He pulled out his own personal cell phone and called my US number, it went to voicemail, shoot. Next he said "do you have the receipt from the cab" I did. He took it and immediately called the cab company, who gave him the number for the driver. In 30 more seconds he's talking to the cab drive who had heard my cell phone ring!!! UNREAL. I went from a total panic that the start of a two week trip in Asia was going to be without a cell phone. He said "let me buy you breakfast" since I had checked in so early I needed a voucher (I am titanium so breakfast is always included) and told me to "go take a shower and relax, when the phone comes we'll pay the driver and call you around." Around 1pm my phone was delivered, Shaiffuddin paid the driver and I was so happy.
Now the hotel itself is right on the river and that is super nice location. They lobby bar is great, if your Platinum or Titanium they have a happy hour with some free grub and essentially all you an drink alcohol. The bar tender was so cool, he was like "he last call you want a back up cocktail".

Overall if your in Singapore this is a great hotel to stay at highly recommened.

Hi Bady45t Thank you for reviewing your recent stay experience with us. I'm glad to know that we have made your stay with us enjoyable and that we have earned your high recommendation. We are thankful that we have an experienced team of Concierge, led by Shaiffudin, and that he was able to go out of his way to put your mind at ease, as well as to resolve your issue. I'm sure it must had been a nerve racking experience for you. I'm also happy to learn that you've enjoyed the Happy Hours at The Best BRew and that our bartender on duty left a good impression on you. I will pass on your compliments to the respective teams and I'm sure they will be equally delighted. I hope you had a good holiday and I look forward to having you back with us again soon. Plus points : Staff very nice, friendly, helpful and hardworking. Especially the senior staff are very helpful, dedicated and hardworking.
They take great effort to go environmentally friendly. Room service menu is qr code scanning, room is bare minimal, no shampoo body gel lotion bottles, no toothbrush provided unless you request for it. Well done.

To improve : hotel product knowledge and attention to details.
1. check-in at 3pm is super crowded, they should encourage guests to do online check in. Ask the manager if there is she say not available, but i do a check on the app it is available.
2. called and email 2 days before and ask about parking rate answer is $8 per day (what does that mean, per 24 hour or per night or per stay, per entry? ) nobody can give me a definite answer until i check in ask reception.
3. upon check in reception should ask guests to make appointment for breakfast. saw a guest not happy because he was rejected because he nv make appointment.

Overall the stay is ok just disappointed the pool is fully booked.

Redeemed the SingapoRediscovers Voucher at this establishment. Outside looks dated, but inside was refurbished. A portion of lobby boarded up due to upgrades going on. Bar was closed. Check-in on a Friday afternoon was smooth, took us no longer than 10mins. Requested for late check out on Saturday, was surprised to be granted that. After check-in, hop over to Four Points Eatery to book your mealtimes first. Zi Char Buffet looks great, but will consider ala carte menu to use the complimentary $88 dining voucher based on our package. Heard the food is yummy. Given the Riverside View deluxe room on the 10th floor. Lovely view of the Singapore River. Good size. Modern. Shower has good pressure and water is hot. May take a couple of showers as all swimming pool slots are full for today. But not too fussy, great deal overall! Thanks for the stay in advance, Four Points by Sheraton!

It is my first time trying this Ah Bui Zhi Char, it is a ala carte buffet of Zhi char dish comes in small portion (bottomless order) with the main dish curry fish head. The food was excellent with authentic taste, one of my favourite would be the black vinegar pork knuckle taste at its best!

I did enjoy my meal with my friends and definitely introduce this place and food to all my friends. The price is reasonable with social distancing measure done properly, guests not eating or drinking were wearing mask. Staff was attentive and helpful, with warm smile even through the face mask. It was a pleasant dinner I must say.

Must eat tips:

green bean stir fry with clam is the one to go for.

Har chiong chicken is well marinated

We all ended like Ah Bui after the meal.

Food rating 10 out of 10!

I stayed here as part of my SHN (compulsory 14 day quarantine). This is a four star hotel with a five star service. The staff were extremely responsive and polite: my requests were always met with prompt responses. In particular, I had to get some printing done urgently, and the reception were very helpful in ensuring that the documents were printed and delivered to me as soon as possible. Meals were also delivered on time. The entire organisation ran like a well-oiled clockwork.

The room was clean. If I had to pick on one thing, I would say the room is not well-lit at night. Orange lighting is unhelpful to those who have to work in the room at night. But, in the hotel’s defence, which luxurious hotel in Singapore has bright lighting at night? I had recently stayed in a hotel in Singapore where the lighting was equally dim at night, and when probed for the rationale, I was told that that was eco-friendly. In the battle between saving the environment and one’s eyes, for those who prefer the latter, they will be pleased to know that Four Points kindly provided me with a desk lamp (with white lighting, thank heavens) when I had requested for one.

All in all, given my experience, I would happily recommend this hotel to any visitor.

Went to Sheraton @ Four Point, the little sibling of Sheraton Towers, 5 star hotel.

Easily accessible by bus ,because there is a bus stop in front.

Went to the lobby and check in was fast.

The hotel staff led me to the room at 10 floor..

Inspected the room ,then look thru window.

The room is simple. Not much item

Went down to have coffee break at lobby bar , this bar serve starbuck coffee  , beer, cocktails and food.

( charge $25 to room account, )

Went back to room after meal

Playing mobile games while sitting on sofa occasionally looking outside to view the body of water. I love the room where i can see the body of water

Till 4pm , went to gym and work out till 5 pm

This hotel is very generous with gym slot and swimming pool slot, more generous than many five star hotels which i went

Gym ( 1 and half hour)

Swimming pool ( 2 hrs)

Went back to room , to watch TV , then play games

Till 6pm, went to swimming pool

Impressed with layout of the small pool area.

There are 3 level of dept.

1m, 1.5m and 2m deep!

Unfortunately ,something is missing.

Poor bar - there are tables , and bar counter but no staff serving bar food and cocktails

Otherwise   I willl have satay and cockail ,after light swim.

1hr later  went back to room and bathe

Then went to 3rd storey to have Japanese food.

After picking few items. I wait

Food came , i was impressed by sashimi morawaise ( mixed raw fish )

Slice of raw fishes are generous , slices are thicker than many Japanese restaurants here.

Paid $50 via credit card because you cannot charge to room account .

Went back to room and do online work till 10 pm and then to bed

Woke up at 6.30 am, went down to have breakfast

Had nice English breakfast

Felt so full . Thus i cancelled my 10 am gym slot and sleep till 9 am

Played online games on my phone on sofa   next to window , viewing river ocassionally

Check out was effortless

This is my second stay at this hotel utilising the Stay.Eat.Drink package. While the first stay was good and value for money, the same cannot be said for my second stay.

First, I had to wait over 3 hours to check in. Luckily, after standing in line for an hour, one of the staff had the sense to invite guests to the Four Points Eatery for a drink while waiting their turn. If only I was given this option earlier. It was certainly not fun standing in the queue for an hour.
Second, as a paying guest, I was entitled to the use of the gym and the pool. Both of which I had no chance of using at all. This was because, by the hotel checked me in, it was so late ALL the pool and gym slots were taken. What made it worse was when I went down to the gym to take a peek during my waitlisted slot I saw only 1 person in the gym. This means the hotel was reserving slots for people who did not show up to use the facilities. The hotel needs to seriously improve their processes. I felt like I paid for facilities which I was not allowed to use. Surely there must be a better way to track guests’ usage of the facilities. If they are not being utilised, other guests should be given the chance to use them.

Despite these shortcomings, there were some saving graces. The room for one was sizeable for the price point and very clean. Comfortable bed too. The food at Four Points Eatery was also fantastic. I totally enjoyed the Zhi Char Buffet. The fact I was allowed to spend part of my 3 hour plus waiting time enjoying the buffet helped to take off some of the sting of the wait. I was also allowed a waiver of a portion of my incidentals. I forgot the name of the girl who checked me out of the hotel but kudos to her for having the sense to do this. It was a very small amount and definitely my 3 hours was worth a lot more to me than the waiver amount but I appreciated the gesture and on balance, together with her professionalism helped in some form of service recovery for the hotel. If they can speed up the check in process and find a better way to allocate the limited slots to guests who genuinely want to enjoy the facilities, they will certainly obtain more five star reviews.

HI GGG12342017, Thank you for reviewing your recent staycation with us. We really appreciate your honest feedback as it helps us to focus on what is important to all our guests. Thank you for choosing to stay with us for the 2nd time, and it is disappointing to know that the experience of your 2nd stay fell short of your expectations. We would like to highlight that due to the social distancing measures in place, gym and pool is strictly by allocated slot only. We do apologize that you are not able to use our gym, and also seek your understanding of the capacity constrain we are experiencing. On another note, we are extremely glad that you enjoyed the food at our Four Points Eatery. Thank you for your positive feedback on the cleanliness of our room and service of our Front Office staff as well. We greatly appreciate it. Please feel free to contact us marketing@fourpointssingaporeriverview.com if there are any other concerns that you wish address. We will be more than glad to assist you further. Thank you! Bought a package which included high tea, room, breakfast, late check out and GV vouchers. Due to covid was given an early check in time. Stayed on 20 floor corner connecting rooms. Bed was comfortable. Love the shower as the shower head gave out fine spray of water. For breakfast I ordered American breakfast. Substantial and it also came with fruits and yogurt. In additional I also had chicken porridge which was nice. However the prawn dumpling was not nice. These were additional items offered whenever they were made by chef. Reception staff were friendly. Booked gym sessions each 1.5 h and swimming which is 1 h. Each only allowed 5 occupants a time. Pool had a 2 m deep end so I only used half the pool. Steam room in the changing room is good but must be switched on at least 10 minutes earlier so must factor time within the one hour. Took bus to plaza Singapura for a movie and dinner. Went back hotel via MRT to Clark Quay MRT and walked back. Took about 25 minutes but was a nice walk to see the night life. High tea started at 3 pm. Waited about an hour after my 2 pm check out. Restaurant Eatery manager was kind enough to let us wait in the restaurant as no waiting is allowed in other places due to covid. Restaurant is slow in serving but staff are friendly. Specially want to compliment Alex Ting who went extra mile when attending to the needs of customers and answered their queries. Bought a lychee log cake from restaurant and is nice.
One reason of a good stay is probably because we checked in early without the crowd on a Friday. We saw the long check in queue on Saturday and can understand why some people were unhappy.

Some time ago I wrote a review about JW Marriott Singapore South Beach. One of the complaints I had was the room that looked bad and cramped. Four Points Riverview has the same size of room, but it feels much more spacious because it doesn't waste the space. The room is standard room, nothing special, but it works well and is comfortable. Four Points eatery provides nice food. All in all I am happy with the hotel, especially when I compare its price to JW Marriott - you get everything with half price. Location is good if you want to explore for example Tiong Bahru. I can recommend the hotel warmly.

The Hotel is excellent when it comes to location in downtown Singapore next to the river front, great staff, great spread of Breakfast compared to other Marriott hotel in US.

Staff and service, Devin at the baggage concierge for super helpful from watching and bringing the luggage to the room while i checking in and then he spend good time to suggest places to see and when for the days i was staying . not only to helpful to me but he helped other guest while i was waiting for my CAB. Front desk everyone was super helpful

Location, There are whole bunch of great restaurants right behind the hotel as you cross the bridge with a river belt to walk on post meals. MRT train station Chinatown of at walkable distance of 1.5 miles.

Cabs are super trustable which runs on a meter system and they take CC and some even American Express. Just download GARB (equivalent to Uber in Singapore) while leaving hotel you can book the CAB with hotel WIFI.

Marina By Bay has an excellent Laser light show in the evenings and mall and MRT Bay front station

MRT -- you can buy a unlimited pass for a day or two that works on buses and trains. The card admin charge of SG $ 10 is refundable after use. This is the quickest was to get around Singapore and cheap over the weekends when the whole world is out and can't get cab from popular places

ENJOY
