We recently stayed here at the start of a 3 week trip that also included Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur. The four days we spent in Singapore and here at the FS were an exceptionally relaxing and wonderful start into our holidays.
The particular highlight for us was the personal welcome by Tobias and Vivien on arrival. We had met Tobias many years ago during our first stay at the Four Seasons Kudaa Hura resort in the Maldives and it was wonderful to see him again. Vivien, the director of guest experience, was exceptionally extremely kind to us, making us feel right at home from the very first moment. Check-in was a breeze, done in one of our rooms, which - a huge "thank you" for this - we could access in the early morning after an overnight flight from Europe, enabling us to shower and change. What a difference this made.
The rooms are large and luxuriously appointed with all the amenities one can think of. The location of the hotel as such is excellent, just off Orchard road and, if using public transport, within 3-5 mins walk of two underground stations.
Simon and the entire team at breakfast were simply amazing, so welcoming and kind, reading our eyes and minds as to every wish we could think of. The breakfast buffet offers a superb variety across all kinds of cuisine, including Chinese and Japanese, and the various choices appeared even to change every other day. There was of course plenty of more traditional breakfast fare as well, such as fresh fruit, juices, pastries, charcuterie, etc., all of which laid the ground for an excellent start into the day. As we had experienced in other FS hotels and resorts, however, the kindness and personal approach of the staff deserve particular mention and made every visit to the restaurant special.
Spending some time at the family pool, again the atmosphere was super relaxing, the team there joyful and kind, immediately offering cool water and ice cream for the kids. A very kind gesture indeed.
Lastly, the team at checkout made saying goodbye a bit easier, offering a smile, a joke and kind words.
So overall, really everything one can wish for, an exceptional time, thank you so much to the entire team.

Four Seasons at Orchard is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve lived in. Not only are the rooms large in comparison to other city hotels, this hotel gives you an Uber luxurious experience in terms of the property and hospitality.
As we were landing much earlier than regular check in timings, we had requested for an early check in, which we got about 20-25 minutes into our arrival to the hotel and they were accommodating for a late check out by an hour, which was much appreciated!
The hotel has two pools and they’re both pretty amazing! The jacuzzi is great, except the water was really dirty so this is the only minus there was to this hotel.
The location of the hotel is spot on with most things within a distance of ~15 minutes by cab, 20-25 minutes by MRT (orchard MRT station was a ~2 min walk) and everything you would want to shop for, available at walking distance.
The bed was large, luxurious and the amenities in the room were top notch. The housekeeping staff were also amazing because we would come back to the room in perfect condition and they’ve gone above and beyond for us, to organise our room or provide for the things we needed during our stay. Special mention to Jess from the housekeeping team, who was so thoughtful and kind!
The staff at the bell desk were so kind and helpful and deserve a mention too!
We didn’t have any meals here so I won’t be commenting much on that but I can say that the restaurants seemed very popular!
If you’re looking for a hotel in Singapore, look no further! Four Seasons at Orchard won’t disappoint.

Overall, the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is elegant and comfortable, with very comfortable amenities and bedding in the rooms, making for a very comfortable trip. My daughters also loved it.
Compared to previous stays at Ritz Carlton or Mandarin Oriental hotels, or luxury hotels such as the Luxury Collection or W that I have stayed at as a Marriott member, the Four Seasons in Singapore has no particular shortcomings, but also no particular surprises. It is average.
During check-in, the front desk was actually quite chaotic, and customers before and after us expressed quite a bit of displeasure, making the entire check-in process very tense.
We were not suite or VIP guests, and our stay was actually average, with no customer recognition and no different responses.
At Ritz, customer reception is more enthusiastic and proactive, but subsequent housekeeping is not quite up to par; while MO is more gentle in interaction, but more meticulous and intimate in creating individual customer experiences.
However, we are very grateful to the gentleman and lady in charge of cooking at the breakfast restaurant. They were extremely helpful and accommodating to us with our kids. They were a big highlight when we went to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Although my daughter under 6 years old was charged for breakfast usage, after leaving the hotel and reflecting through the App, it was immediately corrected. I have to say that this App's immediacy and convenience is even better than that of large groups like Marriott.
We would also like to thank the gentleman by the rooftop pool who was very proactive in getting us towels, serving water, and even had ice cream for the kids to eat. Our children loved it.
The Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore is still a great experience and I look forward to more experiences at Four Seasons hotels. Thank you to everyone who served us during our wonderful vacation.

What makes a 5 star hotel is service above all else and the Four Seasons Singapore delivers. Breakfast and amenities are good as expected, but the service is what makes them stand shoulders above the others.
I traveled with my 1 year old and the hotel set up my room with a diaper bin, baby lotions and shampoos (all-natural) and a pack of diapers + wipes (also all-natural). This was done in anticipation rather than my request, which is the definition of excellent service.

I stayed at the Four Seasons Singapore for four nights at the start of a two week, birthday trip to Singapore and Bali with my partner - and as always, the Four Seasons made me feel right at home.
Prior to arrival, we had mentioned in our booking that we had a very early international flight arrival from the USA, and that we were visiting on the occasion of my birthday. Upon arrival, the room was ready immediately, and even had a lovely birthday treat waiting for me! The room was very comfortable - we stayed in an Orchard Boulevard View room, and the view was absolutely lovely to enjoy before starting our day, or between outings, through the big window on the chaise - a great view of Singapore! Despite the hotel's lobby feeling a bit 1990's and dated, the room felt more modern and sophisticated - of course with the signature Four Seasons bed and pillows which are like heaven... The bathroom in the room was definitely a bit dated, again, very 1990's style and could use a refresh, but immaculately clean and well maintained - housekeeping was wonderful at the hotel. The toiletries of Grown Alchemist were also a nice touch.
The hotel's staff were consistently kind, welcoming and helpful; at the front desk, in the restaurant and bar, and at the hotel's entrance when we were arriving or going out for the day. The hotel is located right off of Orchard road, walking distance to excellent shopping, great dining options, and mass transit, so very convenient. Also, we found that the hotel's restaurant had a really great breakfast offering, and the bar had delicious cocktails.
The hotel has two pools - again, with excellent service - where you can cool off in the hot Singaporean afternoon. We tried both. The rooftop pool area is relatively small, but a lovely respite surrounded by the city, with cabanas and lounge chairs for guest use; but the rooftop pool also allowed children, so it could get a bit loud. So, we preferred the lower pool, next to the executive club, open to hotel guests with cabanas and chairs, but adult only (no splashing children, more relaxing).
All in all, I would 100% recommend this hotel, and would absolutely return - I hope I get the opportunity to!

We arrived in Singapore on a very early morning flight and got to the hotel for 8am. Our check in was not until 3pm. The staff however made us feel so welcome understanding that we had just got off a long flight. We were provided with complimentary coffee, water and pastries along with use of the guest room so that we could shower, take a sauna and freshen up. We were then able to use the pool and relax in this area until our room was ready. The hotel is very clean and every single member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable on our 4 night stay. Would not stay anywhere else when in Singapore.

Before beginning my review it is worth reflecting on the fact that I choose the Four Seasons because of the pricing point, a 40% increase over 3 1/2 years, rather than other options which have increased 100%.
From the pick up at Changi to the good bye two days later on the forecourt I was constantly reminded of the quiet professionalism and charm of the property and its staff.
I have always loved the view down through the Towers of the Boulevard Room. It really does tick all the boxes.
Of special note, when I arrived at breakfast, instead of being ushered into the buffet, I was immediately, and without prompting, taken to the a la carte quiet bar area; that was impressive, as the hotel knows my preference for quiet reflective dining.
The service and the food at one ninety for breakfast was superb both mornings.
Like the breakfast experience I really appreciated the adults only pool environment and enjoyed a wonderful contemplative swim one morning, it is not just the amenities which are important but the ambience. Though why people need to sit and do their office work by the pool glued to their lap top is something of a puzzle to me, nevertheless on the occasion I swam they were not obtrusive.
The maintenance of the room was timely and efficient and the maid provided some nice touches and left notes for which thank you.
The Four Seasons is well placed for the Botanical Gardens on one side and Ion Orchard on the other.
I also appreciated the flexible arrangements offered over the room retention on the final day with a flight deep into the evening.
Thank you for another wonderfully straightforward no nonsense stay with one or two elevated food moments.

Does it need any explanation even - if you decide to pay for a Four Seasons Hotel, you expect a certain service and attitude of the staff, point blanc, no explanations needed. I convinced my friend to book the Four Seasons for our girls trip, blindly thinking that this would make for an exceptional experience. Well, are you gonna get that in that Four Seasons in Singapore? sadly not. At check-in, the reception staff had an outright condescending attitude, which I found strange, but figured he had a bad day (happens, we are humans). When we got into the room, there was a letter addressed to „Dear guest“ … who? say what? I am baffled. We stay at Waldorf, One&Only, Ritz Carlton and St.Regis around the world, every single time there is a personalized card and some amenities! Even a 3 star Ibis in rural Saudi Arabia manages that, including a little flower and banana in a fruit basket … apparently too much asked for this „‚maybe fine once up a time“ property. More unpleasantries were experienced with the same front desk agent when we asked for a late check-out, so it seems a systemic problem, some real lack of job skills relating to room allocations were made obvious, which was tried to conceal with more rude attitude.
In essence - Does this compare to a Four Seasons in Maldives or in Dubai? No, zero comparison!
On the pro side - staff at the bar was lovely and attentive, the bellboys and concierge lady were exhibiting real 5 star flair! The housekeeping was also very professional.
