Dusit holds a special place in my mind because of my fond memories of their Hua Hin location. Whilst the country remains on high alert for our safety, this was a very welcome and beautiful escape from the ordinary in Singapore.
The staff are very welcoming and befitting to Dusit. We had a minor check-in issue where our booking was not found but was swiftly resolved. Always served with a smile (or an assumed smile through the mask!)
The high ceilings and full height windows make the hotel feel very airy and open. And despite it raining later in our stay, you couldn't help but appreciate the amazing view you get.
One surprise for me as an aviation fan is the fantastic view you get of the traffic of planes flying in and out of Changi, with many vantage points around the pool area. For those looking to do a pure plane spotting session, I absolutely recommend the 'Pool View' rooms (not Patio, there are many trees in the way). be warned, however, that the "City View" rooms currently overlook a construction site (with the city in the backdrop)
While the rooms are not the biggest, it is fully equipped and wonderfully decorated. All toiletries are packed in individual paper sealed packages, has a rainfall shower, a Lavazza coffee machine and an array of cups and glassware.
In-Room Dining caught me by surprise by being one of the only hotels I have ever stayed in which do not charge a premium to dine in your room rather than in the dining hall. Just to test the service, we ordered Khao Niew Mamuang (Mango Sticky Rice/ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง)
The dining hall was beautifully decorated with an abundance of flora and has a view of both the poolside and the golf course which wraps the resort. The food was beautifully presented, in particular the steak on a hot stone! Mind you, we had to feed back that the steak as a little bit too salty but we hope this was a quick thing for them to resolve
Both the Pool and Gym were very pleasant facilities. The gym in particular is fully equipped with multiple treadmills, cycles, rowing, weights and pull up bars, as well as mats to do stretches/yoga. The pool has two Jacuzzi areas. There is also a kids pool and a 'relax' pool, which include loungers in the water.
During SG's Phase 2 measures, the hotel currently requires residents to wear masks in public areas, and booking a slot for the Gym (1 hour) and Pool (3 hours). In this early period, whilst very few were staying, this is simple enough, but be mindful when it gets busy.
Overall this makes a wonderful addition to the Dusit line-up and it definitely welcome to Singapore. Crazy as it sounds to open a hotel at a time like this, it was also exactly the type of hotel needed.

We have stayed in Delux Laguna patio pool view room which is in ground floor and patio connects to the swimming pool. Room was very big unlike most of the hotels in Singapore. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom accessories like towels, soap, shampoo, tooth brush was high quality. Breakfast buffet is closed due to COVID Restriction but you can still order the same from the menu . Good spread in breakfast and food is quite tasty in Green House restaurant. Most amazing in this stay was the service , staff is so attentive and welcoming that they make sure you have pleasant stay. Kudos to the entire team . We chanced upon the hotel photos and loved them, we instantly booked a deluxe king room overlooking the pool. The room we got on the 2nd floor was nice, comfortable and as advertised on their website. We stayed for 3 days 2 nights and breakfast was included. Check in was quick and efficient, with their new contactless system which we had to download the app on our mobile phones. It was very convenient as we just had to use our phones to unlock the room door, lift access and also to order food or make any requests. It was totally exceptional. The breakfast variety at Greenhouse were quite good, we had the usual american breakfast and local favourites admist the greenery and rustic feel. We had our dinner at the Greenhouse as well as our room rate includes a $30 dining voucher. We tried the thai menu for dinner and it was not too bad, only that the clear tom yam soup was very fishy. We used the pool throughout our stay, we love the resort feel and it was very nice to chill at the deck bed as we ordered some finger foods and drinks. We would like to mention the staffs who made our stay enjoyable. Muz from concierge who is very professional with good customer service. Apple, Chris and Ibrahim from Greenhouse who are very friendly and accomodating. Thank you so much for your excellent service. We will definitely stay at DTLS again very soon.

Away from the city, as if we flew to Thailand for a mini getaway! This place is amazing! It's our first stay (for sure not the last) at this beautiful hotel. We booked Stay & Play package as it was my boyfriend's birthday and he plays golf. The pre-arrival experience (emails with the Room Reservations team, Concierge team etc) has already given me an idea what to expect when I arrive. We arrived at the entrance of Laguna National Golf & Country Club to drop off the golf bag, the process was smooth and fuss-free. I headed over to the hotel reception for check-in and I was greeted with friendly smiles from the Front Office team. They were very detailed in explaining the Heightened Alert situation to me and what I need to take note of for F&B services to hotel facilities booking... Love the room that was assigned to me, a personal garden all to ourselves overlooking the pool. Thank you to the Pastry team, the birthday cake was spot on! The birthday boy loves it! Also sending our thank you to the Room Reservation team, Paul from the Concierge as well as the Front Office team. My apology that I didn't manage to get their names. The level of service that I received from both front of the house and back of the house is truly commendable. The team has exceeded my expectation! Well done and keep it up! We enjoyed the stay so much, would definitely go back again. The whole resort was spacious, even though there were quite some guests, it does not feel crowded. this little holiday away from city was perfect for us. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, we did not managed to catch all their names. Duty manager Vivien and Benjamin were very helpful with my booking of pool slot even before we arrive in the hotel. Staff from front desk, restaurant and the pool/gym desk, everyone made us felt so welcome. Housekeeping did a great job too, the room was so clean and we felt really safe staying in the room especially during this pandemic. Check in time took a little longer due to the check in crowd but overall still an amazing stay. Breakfast was really delicious with many choices, had a lovely view too.

Dusit Thani Laguna has been a fantastic getaway for me and my partner. We stayed one night on the 30th December in a poolside patio room. Room was spacious, comfortable, and the bathroom was huge! love the shower area. The service staff at the front desk were excellent. I would like to especially commend William, who went above and beyond for us and was impeccable in his service. William, next time when I am here, we will definitely have a drink (after office hours, of course!)
Initially was allocated a city view room, which faces a construction site. Look, some people are annoyed by this ,but It's not a big deal really. First, the rooms have double glazed windows, which makes soundproofing really strong. Secondly, we are not really starting out of the room all the time, and TBH, with a low rise building, there isn't much view to speak of. To come to a resort like this, and want an amazing view, is unrealistic. Better off booking at MBS instead.
The pool was amazing and chill, and the scenery at night was gorgeous. It overlooks the entire golf course landscape with some waterfront (both at the pool and the golf course). Super chill and it felt so far away from the daily grind, perfect for a getaway. The food was good but the F and B staff (some) were not well trained, especially the young local temp staff, who did not know anything about the menu and gave wrong info (told me there was Asahi/Tsing Tao, and another said breakfast starts at 10!). Other than that, great food and great ambience.
Overall, highly recommend!

Stayed at the DTLR over the weekend. Lovely property ensconced in a green nook of the Laguna National golf course.
We were advised the pool view as the rooms would overlook the pools and golf course with not a tall building in sight! Uninterrupted vista of green and blue skies! Really felt like we were no longer in urban SG ...
We had connecting deluxe poolview rooms - tastefully furnished in neutral colours, and spacious bathrooms. The minibar was complimentary but a little disappointing that it was not topped up daily ( we stayed for 2 nights ), maybe Covid restrictions?
The main restaurant,The Greenhouse, was really pretty. It lived up to its name with a profusion of greenery from ceiling to floor. The rattan and leaflike metal light pendants complimented the greenery well. We liked the skylight too as it allowed the entire place to be suffused with natural light, adding to the resort atmosphere. Nasi lemak was the highlight for me here - sambal cili sedap nya! Service was cheerful - from the older staff to the young servers! Shoutout to Sally whose cool demeanour and professionalism stood out for me.
The other eating place was the the Tee Deck, located at the pool area. Service was enthusiastic, servers were younger and 'chill', gave me Koh Samui vibes...yay! Thai food also served here : we had the Burger and Thai Fried Rice. Both were excellent!
Looking forward to when the entire resort is ready. There is currently construction of a huge MRT depot in the front of the property but let this not daunt you trying this place out. Parking is ample and resort was quiet ( maybe because it was a weekend).
Would highly recommend this!

Felt really welcomed by every staff, testament to a great service culture which we would all expect to be challenged from the manpower crunch in the hospitality industry. My son broke a glass weighing machine in the bathroom and the recovery of it and of cos a life lesson for the little one were handled impeccably. Housekeeper Hoong made sure that we wore the room slippers, changed the floor mats etc. Our request for ala carte menu for the little ones as they were picky for food on a Friday night was also deeply appreciated, though it was clear that they did not serve ala carte menu on certain days. The Chinese lady with spectacles at the Greenhouse was also trying her best during breakfast peak hours to usher guests and clear plates at the same time. In these exceptional times, I must say Dusit has delivered exceptionally and really says volume about the management, leadership and culture of the team here. Thank you. Would definitely come back again.

The room and bathroom fittings are modern. The service is impeccable. You can download a concierge app and make requests for room service, facilities booking and just about anything else you can think of. Although I cannot verify its claim to have the largest gym in a hotel property in Singapore, I can certainly say the golf course-facing gym is well equipped with a range of cardio, strength machines and free weights. Greenhouse's, the in-house restaurant, serves a delicious a la carte breakfast with both local and 'Western' options. Will recommend it to couples looking for a staycation.

Despite its extended soft opening the hotel had us admiring almost every experience we had during our stay. Love the modern curves of its exterior as well as the contrasting interiors of the lobby reception and The Greenhouse. The former is very spacious with high ceiling and plenty of natural light while the latter has this dark cocoon-like feel filled with greens and cozy lighting.
The service can be improved. The staff at the reception, phone operator, housekeeping, pool attendant and The Deck crew were all warm and friendly. The servers at The Greenhouse need to be more efficient and have that service with a smile attitude. Kudos though to Bowe and the lady at Legends Bar who prepared our drinks (we forgot to ask her name), they both have that endearing quality Dusit Thani is known for. Special mention to the Head of Concierge Muzaffar for accomodating us, showing us to our room, booking our free shuttle to Jewel and asking us what we need everytime we see him, his service was topnotch.
We had the Prestige Suite and it was huge, lots of greens around with 3 outdoor sections. Bed was big, pillows were comfortable, night sleep was uninterrupted (no planes nor construction works can be heard).
The place has many spots to take great pictures so here are some tips for the gram. When dining at The Greenhouse, request to be seated at the corner by the glass window, this way you’ll be able to capture the beehive curve view. Go up to the 3rd floor ballroom area, there is a nice view of the pool with the villas. At the pool, the cabanas are a great spot, also head towards the grasspatch at the very end, the view from there with the hotel building as your backdrop is stunning for solo or ootd shots.
We enjoyed the food, be it room service, at The Greenhouse, the Pool Deck or Legends Bar and Lounge. It brought us back to our favorites in Thailand. They also have Italian selections for dinner, Western for breakfast as well as local dishes.
Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential which im sure they are going to unlock fully in the coming months. Definitely worth a stay.
