Detailed Reviews
Overall I am quite satisfy staying in this hotel. But the hotel really needs to improve its cleaniness, when I first came I found many grey hair on the carpet and dusty, and this is a problem for me and my son who allergic to dust. The bed itself is very comfort and we book family room, eventhough it’s not spacey but manageable for the 4 of us with 2 medium size luggages. The location is great, very near Chinatown MRT and bus stop, with many restaurants and souvenir shops around.

I would like to say a big thank you to the Staff especially Mr Daniel . He was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early when I told him that I have my old mother with me.
Every staff member I encountered, from the receptionist to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help!
The rooms were clean but a bit too small. Overall it is a nice experience.
For muslims, you can check out the halal stalls at the food street. We only realise it on the last day.

Not enough room to swing a cat.
We knew it was small when booking it however we couldn’t even put our cases in the double room without not being able to open the door to the bathroom.
If you want a shower, just sit on the toilet and turn it on, the shower is directly above. At least you can save time this way.
The bed however was very comfortable as long as the person sleeping on the left doesn’t mind being tickled by the bottom of the blind all night.

my mother of age 82 is very happy with the room! It's clean and bed is super comfortable.
i have initially booked a family room for 6 adults which comes with 2 queen bed and 2 single bed.
in the end, we were given 4 queen beds for 5 of us which is beyond our expectations!
the hotel is just located next to the famous hawker centre with vast selection of local food and walking around chinatown is so easy and convenient
we shall arrange another staycation soon~~
as long as she is happy, we are happy!

We only had one night in Singapore between Malaysia and our flight home so we really just needed somewhere to sleep which this was perfect for. We got there a couple of hours early but were able to store our luggage at the hotel while we went out to eat and then came back to check in.
We did wait a while at reception to check in, there’s a sign that says ‘please take a seat and we’ll be back soon’ with a telephone number. I’d recommend only waiting 5 minutes and then phoning the number as I believe they also work at the Cube hotel a few doors down so they might be there. No problem at all but just a tip not to wait too long before calling. Everyone on reception was very helpful to us.
There is no lift so you do have to carry your luggage up a couple of flights of stairs which wasn’t a problem for us but might be for others. The room was great for one night. It has a fridge (with some free soft drinks and snacks!), a kettle, some storage space built into the wall and enough space for two medium sized suitcases as you entered the room.
The hotel is in a convenient location, just a short walk away from the SMRT and directly opposite Chinatown Complex with lots of food options.

Overall it was a really good room. With two comfortable queen size bed and the best part, we had access to netflix and youtube on the TV. Toilet was very clean too despite it being so small, but it was enough for just a night. no complains. The only thing my friends and i had a slight issue with was the mirror. It was surprisingly dark and also the dim yellow lights above us, made it hard for us to see ourselves when applying makeup. I had to use my compact powder’s mirror to do so, while facing towards the window where there’s natural sunlight. Anyway, great location, near the MRT, it was perfect.

I stayed in a family room with 4 adults and a 5 year old. Let’s not beat around the bush....the room is tiny. Some of us had to wait outside the room whilst others were getting ready, with the 5 year old waiting on the bed.....BUT.....we were only staying on a stopover, so only had hand luggage(where we would have put our suitcases if we had them, I have no idea). We were out of the room as soon as we got there as we wanted to see as much of Singapore in the evening that we had there. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was pretty good. Towels, toothbrushes, shower gel all provided. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Bottled water for everyone in the room too.
Would I recommend this for a holiday in Singapore with the family? Probably not, but for a stopover it was fine (especially for the price for 5 people in Singapore).

Toothbrushes lousy quality.no proper place to place kettle to boil water. Indian men walking along corridors w masks down or no masks.some corridoor's doors not closed. Lousy security. Very narrow room. Plugs charging points wrongly placed. Unable to charge devices over the night.got to choose between to sleep or to charge the devices. Staffs didn't turn up after feedback when promised to send someone over.Durian seller at Smith street not keen to sell durians. Simply uninterested. Nothing much to roam about. Very warm in the area.

Hi Sir/Madam,
Yes you may leave your luggage in the reception area while waiting for your check-in time. We also have common shower areas that you can use to freshen up if you so wish. Let me know if you have further concerns.

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam16 contributions1 helpful voteHi, does this hotel provide separate bathroom?
I am not clear on this question. The room we stayed in had its own bathroom. I am not sure if the hotel has a common bathroom which is separate from the rooms. I hope to have answered the question
