Not sure what other purpose of the pink light is other than making it look cool, though I suspect it's supposed to make your first impression go, "wow", rather than, "oh this room is small".

Yotelair Singapore Changi is celebrated for its impeccable cleanliness, modern atmosphere, and clever design, with many guests commending the comfortable beds and showers. While the hotel's location within the airport is highly valued for its accessibility to shopping and dining, some reviewers note the premium price tag. Despite the praise for amenities like complimentary coffee, the compactness of rooms and noise levels have been points of contention, leading to mixed opinions on service and value for money.

I was going to arrive late (or early depending on how you view time) into Changi and would require a simple comfortable overnight room for a 6-hour sleep before heading off for meetings. Paying exorbitant rates for the nearby Crowne Plaza or city hotel for a 6-hour sleep was not justifiable. A search of Yotel returned a reasonable rate of $220 (inc. taxes and service charge) compared with $350 for nearby Crowne or $450 for city hotel.

Check-in was ok with a queue serviced by two "Mission Control" desks. All the self-check in kiosks were not operational when I arrived, that was confirmed by the front desk staff.

The cabin (aka small room)_has en-suite. Small but clean and operational. Yotel takes on a 'space' concept (literally and figuratively) - hence very well thought out. Room was well engineered with every item sized appropriately, still fitting in a queen-sized bed. That said, the Queen-bed room was only sufficient for a 2-person occupancy, or perhaps with a small child. There is no pull-out bed available due to space constrains. Also the room had only enough floor space to open 1 medium size luggage to retrieve / pack items. So if you are travelling with 3 or more, there will be barely enough space to store your luggage.

The room was compact, clean and comfy. Bed was motorised, meaning you can electronically move the upper part of the bed to an elevation to a recline position when watching TV. No kettle / tea/coffee making facilities in the room - but that was not really required as there is a hot / cold water dispenser within walking distance of your room located in the common corridor.

One major and only quibble - the air change in the room is slow. For example, if you are bringing purchased packed food into the room to dine, the smell of food will remain the room for hours even after you finish eating, if you do not open the door to 'air' the room.

Light breakfast was complimentary - tea and machine-made coffee (not instant granules, thankfully) were in the shared communal area, with mini muffin, croissants and a couple of danishes complementing bread for self toast. Yoghurt was available via the bar bridge below the counter. All self-served. No cutlery was provided, so you are expected to use your hands to eat.

Check-out (by 11 am) was a breeze. The check-out time was aligned with when the Jewel fountain started operations for the day.

Overall I will stay here again for a short trip or if requiring a short overnight sleep.

Dear ProfVau, Many thanks for your comprehensive review. You are spot on over our concept! We acknowledge your feedback over the air circulation within the cabin and will study this with our engineer to improve the air flow circulation. As the light items provided during breakfast are all of bite size, we do not provide cutleries. However, we will review this and consider our options. Once again, thank you for your feedback and we look forward to your return.

Requested early check in (2hrs) this was granted at standard rate per hr as advised per their website .
In addition requested late check out and advised I would pay per hr (8hrs) as they advise in their previous email when I requested 24 hrs before arrival if availability as my flight was 23:20 next day - initially said they were fully booked so could not check out late but when I asked if there was any extra late checkout at all even a few hrs I was advised it would be a full day rate but should still check out at 7pm…however was too tired from travelling since 5am so paid up .
Cabin was sufficient for overnight / late check out ,coffee/ water and any amenities ask for more if need, bed was comfortable with great pillows,towels/ room/ bathroom area clean but was concerned there was stains on the bottom cover/ mattress under bottom sheet when I pulled my covers back next morning . . .
Was advised by a letter in room maintenance works was going on in day sorry for inconvenience etc however 6am was woken by screaming children in the coffee area close to my cabin this went on for 45 minutes maintenance work started around 8am therefore could not rest, breakfast was pastries/ cake ,coffee machine, juice . Expensive for the experience but was handy for the Jewel

We paid SGD119 for a 4 hour stay since our flight was only available for check in from midnight. For a transit hotel they are a monopoly yet the room was exceptional - room temperature was very nice and cool, bed was queen sized with very comfortable pillows and firm good quality bed. Shower was hot with shower head and rainfall options. Even disposable toothbrushes with Colgate toothpaste provided were good.

My baby was crying (husband was carrying him) when I returned to the room from shopping and I couldn’t even hear him from the outside until I entered the room, soundproofing was definitely top notch!

We will definitely return to yotelair if given the chance!

Room is small, and very few amenities (need to ask for slippers). No breakfast. Check in also took time.

Our bathroom has no good separation to the toilet, so water seeps to the toilet floor when you use the shower (I would like to have dry floor in the toilet floor). The room should have small separation/cover on bathroom floor and the toilet floor.

Room Price (285 SGD = 32K JPY) is very high for the room size. If you have more time in SG (long transite/layover), better book hotel outside the airport with good amenities and bigger room.

Only good merit is the location, and free water refill station per floor.

The hotel is conveniently located in the Jewel, 15 min walk from the terminal. It is an easy place for transit stopovers, the room is very fonctionnel with basic amenities including toothbrushes, very large and comfortable bed for a tiny room it is the cheapest bedding option at the air but still a bit pricey for a basic room. Breakfast is very basic, hot coffee machine is not very good and pastry are spongy but better than nothing.

The tiny, well-designed, standard room was fine, but no windows was major drawback for us. Not sound-proof so we heard the noise in corridor outside at night. However, bed firm & pillows comfy, aircon temp controllable, very clean. Shower was strong, soap/shampoo/hairdryer provided.
Staff pretty glum, reacted as if we were bothering them with a minor issue (like a keycard not working, twice).
Nice airy lounge open 24h with coffee contraption, teabags etc, but yoghurt & fruit is locked in fridge till 6.30am. We had to leave 5.30am so bought own breakfast pastries night before.
Yotelair an innovative option, half the price of airport Crowne Plaza, and located within Jewel. Glad we had the experience, but one night was enough.

Caution for folks with early morning flights departing at Terminal 4: the free shuttle bus to T4 has no fixed schedule between midnight and 6am, and the hit-or-miss frequency is 25-60 minutes (we were told this at T1 info counter) so if you just miss a bus you could wait nearly an hour for the next one. We took a taxi from T1 to T4 rather than wait & worry about when the bus would arrive. BUT taxi drivers are loath to make such a short trip after waiting ages for a fare. Luckily Mr Said shepherding the T1 basement taxi queue persuaded the driver to take us. The trip costs S$14.

Stayed here for two separate nights. The room was booked in advance for a certain price then when arrived it had increased to just over £160 - $260-$280 Singapore dollars which you get a choice of paying in local currency or your own currency. The person on the desk when checking in wasn't overly friendly. There is free tea/coffee in the little food area and also there is some pastries for breakfast from 6:30 am.

The rooms are relatively small, the bed is electronically adjustable, the bathroom is a decent size which has a window about the bed all the way along and glass door which there are curtain to draw across in the bedroom for some privacy and to block out some light from the bathroom. The TV is ok but bit complicated to work. You get 2 small bottles of water to drink and there is a hair dryer. The bed is ok, comfy, seemed clean.

The location is good with being in the jewel so lots of shops and restaurants to go to if you have the time. The lifts up to this floor the hotel is on are painfully slow and you can wait 10+ minutes, one option is to get in the lift when it is going down and stay in it until it goes back up. There are escalators up to this floor but depends on how big and number of bags you have. The beds are comfy, rooms small but not too bad. Bit overpriced for what you get.

For over SGD200 per night for a tiny, not-pristine room and unwelcoming staff, I say that this isn't a good deal at all. The hotel is far from the airport terminal, and seem to be at the other end of the Jewel. The housekeeper originally assigned to prepare my room didn't do a good job, but the next one who came to "fix" the issues was very nice.

The hotel doesn't offer much. Towels and shampoo/shower gels are provided. Other than that, only slippers and combs are available upon request.
They offer water, coffee and tea at the lounge. That's it.

I've had much better service and complete amenities from hotels half the cost.
YotelAir Changi has much to improve upon.

Consider staying at the other hotel instead, which is closer to the airport terminal.

Dear JadeVert, Thank you for your feedback. Our collaterals are transparent over what we have to offer, and our pricing are competitive within our proximity. Our concept is to provide our guest the convenience, and "we provide what you need and nothing you don't". We regret to hear that the cabin was not prepared up to standard and we will continue to train our crew and improve ourselves. We thank you for staying with us and we look forward to your return.

The family room fit very well 4 people (2 adults, 2 children) has a queen bed and a bunk bed; it was very clean, you get towels, shampoo, what you need for a short stay. Breakfast is included and coffee and tea are available 24hrs
The hotel is in Jewel center level 4, there are several signs to find the hotel very easy.

This hotel is in the huge shopping mall at the Changi Airport. walk 20 meters and you're at the Jewel - tallest indoor waterfall. This hotel is outside of passport control/customs/check in/security. So if you have a layover you have to leave security and check in the next morning.
Very small room (as expected) but clean and good standup shower. I was by myself - would be extremely tight for a couple. $160 per night seems kind of pricey for the room size, but the convenience and location were worth it. I had an 8 AM flight and flew in the evening prior.

Yes, they can store your luggage for you. And apparently if your luggage is oversize and doesn't leave room in your cabin, you can also leave your bags in their storage. Another option is checking in early, it costs I think about $20 per hour.
