Andaz Singapore has quickly risen to my list of favorite hotels. Upon arrival in Singapore after 30 hours of travel at 8am, we were shown to the pool changing rooms where we could shower, freshen up, brush our teeth, etc. This was life changing after a long travel day. The room itself was stunning with views of Singapore, every amenity considered and prepared for. The rooms even had mood lighting. The shampoo/conditioner etc. smelled incredible. Beds were quite comfortable, and the room had blackout curtains for weary travelers sleeping during light hours. Breakfast was great - we ordered off the menu as the buffet was double the price. It was great food and service. The wifi for the hotel was strong and worked in our room, lobby, pool, and downstairs in the first floor of the building where we were requesting grabs. The location is pretty central, near Kampong Glam and Haji Lane, only about a 30 min walk from the marina bay sands and gardens by the bay. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a very nicely designed hotel, with lots of space, and many thoughtful amenities. Rooms have large windows, plenty of plugs, a complimentary mini bar of soft drinks, and even a filtered water tap plus refillable bottle.

Wifi is decent, hair dryer is powerful, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful including made to order laksa, eggs, and many continental options.

Note that there is a lot of construction in the area, but that didn’t disturb my room

We enjoyed a 4-night stay at the Andaz Singapore. The hotel is bright, stylishly designed, with some great bars and restaurants.
Contacting the hotel before, for room preferences, was difficult. You arrive at ground floor level, where the concierges live and then take a lift to the 25th floor for check-in. The person who checked us in was inexperienced and didn’t speak great English. Several times I asked the reception person for help with restaurants, directions and a lost credit card and they seemed dis-interested or did not communicate at all. This was not a great customer service experience.
Our bedroom, a corner suite with city view, was very nice. It was spacious, with a nice separate lobby area. The main bedroom was a reasonable size and featuring a comfortable bed, although this was slightly short for me at 6’2” tall. The a/c was very efficient but also too noisy for operation all night. The floor to ceiling windows, whilst initially scary 26 floors up, gave a wonderful view of the city, and a glimpse of the marina area. The shower/toilet were good, with a useful filtered water tap.
Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of very nice food. Occasionally it was very busy but mostly a great experience. We ate one evening in Alley 25 and the food was very good, although service wasn’t great, with staff busy looking at screens and not their customers, which wasn’t good. Outside the 25th floor facilities are a lovely large outdoor pool and trees and seating areas.
The roof bar, Mr Stork, is fabulous! The views and trees are superb and the wig whams fun. Rosemary, the greeter, was awesome, remembering our names and drinks preferences. The gym was well stocked with machines and some free weights but there is no spa/sauna or spa services in the hotel.
The location of the hotel is good, being located above the Bugis subway stop, which sits on two key subway lines and is only two stops from Marina Bay Sands.
Overall, an enjoyable luxurious experience at a reasonable price. Fix the service and it would be ‘excellent’.

the number of hotels offered by this city is so large, that to choose well, you have to set selective criteria: mine were the location and a sunny pool. Given the height of the buildings, the question is far from stupid. On these two points, total success.

The Pension borders Little India, just a short walk or metro ride from all the city’s attractions.

Located in a group of office buildings called DUO Residences, but on the upper levels from the 34th floor, the lack of lobby on arrival surprises. But the exit of the elevator with its smiling welcome reassures, even at a late hour: we are in the right place!

At Reservation, we had chosen a room "heritage view", without really knowing what to expect. This corresponds to a view of Lille India but especially the building opposite, Parkview Square, an Art Deco-style construction dating from 2002, inspired by the Chanin Building in New York. On the ground floor a restaurant allows you to enjoy the incredible architecture and exceptional details in ironwork, all decorated with sculptures like a museum (Botero, Giacometti ....) On the facade of the top floors, 4 giant foosball players hold lighting globes. Only beautiful people inside, embassies and consulates (Oman, United Arab Emirates, Austria, Mongolia).
Going for a drink is entering a place out of time... just worth the trip.

The Pension rooms are quite nice, noise-free, comfortable bedding, storage, small tea set coffee with silent fridge, a very well designed bathroom.
the breakfast service is great: it offers 3 dining areas according to the proposals: Chinese, continental, vegan and pastries. I particularly appreciated the choice of fruit and the quality of the products.

The large pool is located on the same level (34th floor), with a sufficient number of sun loungers organized around a shaded garden.
On the top floor, a terraced night bar offers a pretty nice view of the city. No need to try the rooftop bar of the SwissHotel, here the staff is friendly and smiling, and the Award very reasonable.
The Pension offers several restaurants. We tested the Chinese restaurant, delicious, super nice staff. Finally every evening we explored the map with happiness with the only effort to provide, that of taking the elevator.

In conclusion, I can only recommend this property, perfect in every way.

The rooms are extremely comfortable with very cosy beds, well-designed bathrooms and nice features like automatic blinds and curtains. Tea and coffee selection is very handsome, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the minibar selection was entirely complimentary.

The breakfast buffet is fantastic, offering three separate themed buffets across three rooms. The food quality was fantastic and I felt a bit bad that I was getting it all for free!

I'd definitely recommend Andaz to anybody visiting Singapore. For a five-star hotel the price was extremely reasonable, and it's conveniently sited right above Bugis MRT station.

Room: Every inch of the room was well designed and thought out. The bed was comfy and room was quiet. My favorite part was the free refillable water bottle and the water purifier system by the sink. I wish more hotels did this to help minimize bottle water usage for travelers!

Location: great! It’s located by the Bugis MRT so public transport was convenient. Lots of eateries and shops nearby. Taxi from/to airport was only about 20min and about 23SGD

Amenities: They offered free snacks and refreshments throughout the day. Unfortunately, the gym was under construction during our stay so we were not able to utilize it as planned. Several restaurants on site, with our favorite being the rooftop bar, Mr Stork.

Staff: from the doorman to the cleaning staff, everyone was very nice and attentive

I went to Singapore during spring break last year, from the end of March to April. I wanted to stay at Marina Bay Sands, but the rooms with bathtubs were sold out, so I was looking for a new hotel with good access and chose this one. I am a member of World of Hyatt (although I'm just a member), so I made a reservation through them.
The standard rooms don't have bathtubs, so I looked for a suite or higher.
There are two of us, but we thought that sleeping two people in a king-size bed would be too much for us, so we asked for an extra bed. We arranged this by calling World of Hyatt. It was convenient to be able to see a 3D room diagram on the web.
After arriving, we were able to specify the location of the extra bed and they placed it in the living room. I specified that it be in the living room, but it was a simple bed, so it was quick and easy to place it.
There was a solarium, a space where drinks and nuts were placed, which we could use for free.
The pool wasn't a spectacular view, but the view was pretty good, and most importantly, there weren't many people there.
The breakfast was a large space and although it was crowded, we didn't have to wait that long, which was nice.
As many people have said, there was a round dot on the window in the room, and I thought it would definitely be better if it wasn't there.
After arriving at the driveway, we took the elevator to the lobby to check in. There was no line at the simple check-in counter, so we were able to check in without having to wait in line. What's more, we were lucky to be able to get into our room, even though we arrived two hours earlier than the check-in time, as it was already ready.

Stayed for three nights in an accessible room (Room 2703). The accessible room requires you to request a shower chair as a chair is not inbuilt into the wall however this was the only drawback. The room itself is quite large and very well appointed with automatic blinds and easily controlled lighting. Plenty of space for two people. Maybe there should be two chairs at the living room table! Service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. At breakfast they remembered my wife required GF and took a separate breakfast order for her. Lobby staff called cabs and assisted with getting us in and out of cabs with care.
Great location near the Bugis MRT and 10 minutes in a cab to the Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands. A 10 minutes walk to Raffles Hotel and Bugis plaza. Not cheap but acceptable within the range for a Hyatt brand. Early check granted after a 13 hour flight and this was greatly appreciated. A great stay and would definitely stay again if we returned to Singapore.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Andaz. Our room (king, marina view) was fantastic with plenty of space both in the sleeping area but also the bathroom. They even have a separate water faucet for filling up reusable water bottles! The location was great- only 15-20 min by car from the airport and a MRT station at the base of the building. Breakfast was very nice with multiple cuisines to choose from. The team at the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating. I want to especially recognize Sharon who went out of her way to make sure I experienced a Singaporean treat at breakfast. She made my morning! I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Spent 3 nights in a 1 King Bed with Sea View, Deluxe (Globalist upgrade from a 1 King Bed) at cost of SGD 419 per night (USD 305).

Location 4/5: The hotel is located in a nice area, right next to the popular Haji Lane and right over the Bugis Subway station that serves the Downtown and East West lines.

Cleanliness 4/5: Very good, no issues. They also provided a turndown service in the evening.

Service 4/5: When needing to check in or to speak to someone at the front desk there always was a bit of a wait. The staff was very polite. Overall, very good.

Food (Breakfast) 5/5: The highlight of the stay. They have 3 different buffets in 3 different areas, an Asian, a Western and then an area with cold cuts and cheeses, fruits, salads, breads and pastries, and just about everything you’d like to try for breakfast. It was all delicious and high quality.

Room 3/5: The room was good, the bathroom was on the small side, and so was the shower. I liked the huge bed, which was made up of two twin beds. The room tech was adequate.

Common areas 4/5: Well kept, I liked the large artwork covering the wall in the atrium between all the floors, as you walk to your room.

Value for Money 4/5: Very good value for Singapore, especially if you get an upgraded room.

Bonus points for sustainable practices: Nothing worth mentioning.

Best to check with the hotel via their customer service hotline or email on their website. Coz recently, the government is going to roll out new restrictions due to the worsening covid situation. Also check for their recent hotel benefits including food choices (if any hotel benefits has changed or removed. I had the Sunroom "aka their alfresco roof bar" all-day free non-alcoholic drinks removed then) in lieu of changing new restrictions before u book yr staycation. Best of luck. & Happy Birthday staycation in advance!
