I'm a member of Marriott Vomboi, so from the app, cash + Marriott Points, stay in the Marvelous Suites. The price dropped several times as the day of stay approached, so I rebooked one after another and stayed at a pretty good rate.
When we arrived at the hotel by car, there was no one at the car stop, so we entered the entrance and used the elevator next to the stairs directly in front of us to bring our own luggage to the front desk.
Marvelous Suite Reservation. Stay for two people. I wanted to use one bed per person, but since there is no twin but one king bed, I added an extra bed. The bed was naturally placed in the living room.
The L-shaped terrace, pool view and views were very good.
The bath was also a view bath, and the shower was behind a glass door. There were two toilets, one near the entrance and one in the bathroom.
Minibar in room is charged. Free coffee and tea. Complementary chocolates and fruit were on the living room table. Chocolate is Janiswon chocolate. It was a W-only item, and I wanted to buy some souvenirs, so I asked the front desk and they gave me an extra one just because it wasn’t for sale and housekeeping would deliver.
I stayed the day before my return, so I had other things to do, so I didn't end up in the pool, but the pool here has a slider and it looks like I can really enjoy it with small children.
You're surprised the breakfast buffet is here? There were so many different kinds and it was delicious. The honey, which was so thick that they could scoop it up and eat it themselves, caught my eye. It was delicious on bread or in tea. There is a wide variety of Danish dishes and it is spectacular. It wasn't so crowded when I entered, and I told my room number when I entered, and since I was staying in a suite, I quickly cleared out the spacious space and was shown around. It was casual and very kind.
They also have a variety of suites, so I'd like to stay in other rooms.

We had a 2 nights stay in w sentosa , being a ambassador elite it was indeed a privelage to stay in W sentosa. Walking into the hotel I could feel the warmth of the staff and the good management they have . Everything is taken care of when you enter the warm welcome and the welcome drink like shots was so cool . Josephine checked us in and I really appreciate the room upgrade , I did use my suite nights however the management went above and beyond and gave us the best room available wow suite, we really appreciate that . The check in was smooth they accommodated all my request though being fully booked they did offer me the late check out at 4pm, they had to move me at 12 smaller room but that was absolutely fine with me as I had a late night flight and kid with me . In the concierge desk Nana was very knowledgeable she gave me good instructions and tips for all the activities I had pre booked myself . The hotel provides a free bus service around the sentosa main attraction easy to commutate. The hotel is so kid friendly so many activities for kids , free pop corns and ice cream 🍦, yoga for adults do check the calendar of hotel activities. Next trip to Singapore 🇸🇬 we will keep atleast a day to explore more of the hotel we did get the last day for pool time. Finally after our activities we checked in the hotel the suite was just wow.🤩 with a plunge pool , all amenities for us adults and my daughter. They had wine and fruits for us welcoming us for both nights we stayed
Vince from housekeeping was such a friendly and caring staff he arranged colors ,balloon and some floating animals for my daughter ( all surprise) she was so happy 😀 he told us the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise it’s the small things that matter.
The breakfast menu was very good multi national, good choices . Poline was super star ⭐️ remembering our room number and interacting with my daughter. We had dinner in their all day dining I forgot the name of the Filipino staff from Manila another super star of the hotel.
The pool area is super fun for kids and adults hubby me and baby S had a fun afternoon .
I think I covered everything. The facilities and hotel is amazing but I have stayed almost in 15 brands of Marriot and first time in W , Singapore W gave the best image of the brand, what sets them apart is the management and the staff. Thank you to the entire team.

We have received a staycation gift from our best friend to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Sentosa.
We drove there, went to the basement carpark in the left of the main entrance. However, there is no clear signage to show where is the checkin lobby. First, we turned right & parked at the nearest lift lobby which bought us to the restaurants at 1st & 2 floor. We returned to the basement car park & drove to the left lobby. We went to the 1st floor wrong. We tried 2nd floor, finally we saw the checkin lobby. I can understand that most guests do not drive but as a 5 star hotel this is an area that they could improve for drive-in guests.
We have been allocated to a room on the 3rd floor with “pool view” from the balcony. I put it more as a palm tree view, as our room is the same height with the blocking palm trees.
The “Fabulous” room is well designed & pre-cool prior to our arrival which is a nice touch, considering how is Singapore’s weather. The ambiance lights in the room could be changed in colour to your likings.
I noted that the glass partition separating the bath tub & the glass could be slide opened like a cabinet. I thought it’s a design gimmick & later of the day, I realised it is used to open up so that you could enjoy watching the TV from the bedroom while soaking in the bathtub. There is a volume control near the sink to control the TV speaker located on the ceiling of the bathroom.
There is a “Love” theme decoration like balloons, cushion & “lips” chocolate.
The shower & bathtub are separated. Interestingly the glass door of the shower cubicle is shared with the toilet bowl next to it. Meaning if you close the door to shower, the toilet bowl is exposed. Close the toilet & the shower is exposed. The lever-less taps in the shower room need some figuring to turn on. Water pressure is normal. It would be better if the pressure is stronger.
The doors to the cabinet also need some figuring on opening.
Our planned evening drink at the room balcony did not happened as the lights are not working & the technician suspected a blown fuse might be the cause & asked for more time to repair for which we have declined as we are only staying for 1 night.
You can get your complementary carpark ticket from the front desk every time you drive out of the hotel.
Free pop corn is available at the lobby from 2 to 4 pm daily. With morning free yoga at 7.30 am
The 24 hour swimming pool is large with a sliding tube.
As we are in Sentosa, I have a good sleep with no traffic noise.
Finally, for the balcony lights hiccup and the confusing basement carpark, I gave a rating of 4 stars. Hope the hotel can improve on it. Thanks.

Stayed for two nights for a retreat. The hotel premises (almost everywhere!!) gives a consistently hippy feel, an eclectic atmosphere. You feel quite happy just walking around and admiring the decor. Free parking provided, which is nice.
One thing I noticed, rather unusually, is the generous offering of bottled water in the hotel rooms and the conference/ballroom. That’s really lovely.
Another thing that I was particularly impressed was the strong and free wifi which was exceedingly easy to access. You don’t need ANY password! The reach of the wifi extends to the nearby eateries.
Apart from the water, I must also give compliments on the room amenities - except their toothbrush which was firm/hard (I used my own toothbrush…). The aroma of the body lotion was fantastic, calming, memorable. Bed linen was soft to skin, and so were the towels. I liked the docking station for my iPhone (it could also work on other phones) with free songs (just scan the code provided).
The one thing that really got on our nerves was the chaotic breakfast. It was a Tuesday, and the hotel should have known that there was a massive retreat going on and that it starts at 9am. (Ok, if they read this review and claim they don’t know, that’s even worse!!) We rushed to the restaurant after our yoga at 815am and Lo and behold there was a long queue, which took ages to move. The hotel could have anticipated this crowd and simply opened the Skirt restaurant to cope with this traffic. Besides, they were offering semi-ala carte buffet (which was nice, btw), so using another premises for eating should have been fine. I had told myself to deduct one star for this, while waiting in queue with other angry customers. Out of fear of repeating history, we skipped yoga the next morning just to arrive specially early for the breakfast. This is so DUMB, come to think of it.

From the time we arrived we were treated as VIP’s. The resort is beautiful and the rooms do not disappoint. The breakfast buffet is by far the best one I have ever experienced. Housekeeping were great ensuring we had plenty of bottled water and clean fresh towels every day. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Close to many restaurants and a free shuttle bus to take you where you want to go every 15 minutes. The only thing I can fault them for is there was no streaming services on the tv.

Family of 4 from Sydney. 1 x vegan, 3 x vegetarians. We had high hopes for W Sentosa but it fell a little short. The hotel is beautifully presented and the staff are lovely and hard-working. However, for the price we paid we expected the smaller things which left us thinking we should have gone back to Shangri La Sentosa instead. The rooms lack a modern feel and the lighting system is terrible. Water pressure in the showers was average. The memory foam pillows we requested were lacking the “memory”. The buffet was good but needed a more extensive vegetarian selection. Our recollection of the Shangri La buffet had a made to order Indian food station amongst the other egg and Asian stations. The pool is beautiful, and shout out to Anthony and Joseph at the pool bar who looked after us. There were no issues getting pool side seats. I would have liked to have seen some more organised pool activities for the kids like at other resorts. They did, however, have a s’mores activity which the kids loved. The gym is well kept with good machines. The spa is a standout and has an excellent jacuzzi and steam room. Overall the hotel is great, but it’s the little things that other 5 star resorts we have stayed in have which were lacking at w Sentosa.

Would like to give credit to the service team during breakfast, the crew was attentive to our needs and also was sufficiently resourced both on Sat and Sunday breakfast timing.
Also would complement the service of Ms Xiao Rong who left a Room Stylist note and gave complimentary tokens like Mouth Rinse and the signature Davines Shampoo and Conditioner set on our table after the room service. The slippers were neatly arranged and all were done up nicely. We felt the homely touch from the housekeeping team and the service crew at breakfast. I think it's good to see familiar faces at the breakfast timing too as we return every once or twice a year.
Well done W Sentosa.

A wow hotel indeed. Good service staff and amenities are top notch. Food is very tasty and well prepared. Breakfast was fantastic and the pool house music was out of this world. Only problem is they value their brunch guests more than the in-house hotel guest. I had to search for a deck chair, struggle to call a waiter at the spectacular pool and wait for ages to order a drink at the bar. It wasn’t the staffs’ fault. The management’s decision is to let outsiders use the pool for a fee. Outsiders mingling with hotel guests in the pool. Frustrating and uncalled for. W! Why do you allow this lively, cool pool turn into a madhouse. There were tissues, food step, wrappers in the pool, bags from outsider strewn all over the grass and surrounding areas and a long queue at the slides. My kids had to wait 20 minutes to get in the slide. All I can say is they value outsiders more than I house guests just because of more revenue as outsiders have to pay a fee to use the pool and they have to buy a drink package. Stupid way of earning more revenue. All I can say is at the expense of in-house guests who paid an arm and a leg for the rooms. What the hell are they thinking.

Its best to email them on room configuration directly. Not sure i they have any higher category rooms apart from the Fabulous rooms. However the ropm that i was staying in comes with a balcony.
There are more places to choose from in the Sentosa Island area.
