The architecture of the buildings really impressed me. Well thought of interior design, lighting, accents, accessories were spot on for a beach resort. The rooms gave a homey and comfy vibe. I especially liked that all rooms are facing the beach, giving everyone a beautiful view from waking up till watching the sunset. The ambiant lighting in the bathroom, plants by the shower plus the “open” feel while hearing the crashing of the waves added to the ambiance.

Rooms came with 1 queen bed, 1 single and a comfy divan where you can sit and read a book is a plus. I guess rooms were made for families in mind. The mini bar was the usual soda and beer, they give 2 big bottles of drinking water which is refilled everyday, and a nespressso machine and pods that is also replenished daily. The AC was really cold, and makes the room more relaxing after spending the whole day out in the heat.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They know the names of all their guests, showing great customer service. I commend Earl and Ahnj at the reception. And the servers Malou, Julius, Mark, etc. Excellent service!

The pool/poolside is also a nice spot to hang out in if you dont get a spot in one of the 10 beach loungers. You can also request for a massage, either at the beach or in your room. The cost during our stay was P1200

We travelled to El Nido after 1 year of not getting to travel that’s why we were so excited to spend some quality time to recharge and relax. And knowing that there were only 12 rooms gave us a sense of security/safety considering we were in a Pandemic still.

What we did not like during our stay was that they allow outsiders to eat at the bar/restaurant (which was the only choice btw), and also the beach loungers (with a P500 consumable fee for non guests). We felt kind of iffy about having to be around other people. *El Nido requires a negative swab test for tourists during the time we went, and knowing that most of the resort guests are tourists, we felt safer.

There was one evening where they even had about 20+ Walk in guests who occupied the whole beach front and they even had a DJ, thus disturbing our peace. Remember that we chose this resort for the privacy and exclusivity that we thought we would be getting. But at that moment, we were turned off.

On the overall, Maremegmeg Beach Club was a great experience, and we are thinking of going back again. I just hope that the management would think of their in-house guests privacy first and foremost.

Super impressed! We checked in as an extended family of 10 (my sister's,5; my fam, 4 ; and my brother ,1). We were greeted with welcome drinks as the courteous staff discussed hotel procedures and island-hopping options.
Maremegmeg resort is amazing.  It provides  luxurious hotel amenities while still keeping in touch with nature.
Our room, good for 4,  has a beachfront view, 2 queen size beds and  very clean. The  hotel amenities provided are of good quality, definitely not your generic hotel lotion, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash.  The soap provided is about the size of a chicken bouillon cube, which we appreciate. This minimizes waste since guests usually use soap just to wash hands.

The way the room was designed, we can still hear the waves crashing on the beach through the bathroom even with all outside doors closed. If you don't want to hear the waves, just close the  bathroom door.

The infinity pool serves as a refreshing break from the sea water. Kayaking and paddleboard rentals are free of you are a hotel guest.

There is a restaurant by the resort that serves good food. At around 4 pm,  it becomes party center as the DJ starts churning out tunes audible not only to restaurant patrons but also to those chilling on the beach.

For our island-hopping adventure, we opted for Hayahay Adventure, which I highly recommend. Since we are a party of 10, we requested that it be a  private adventure, i.e., no  other guests.  The hotel provided towels and snorkel masks so we didn't have to rent them from the  boat.

If there is a not so positive comment about the room, it would be that I found the bathroom dark. The lighting (or lack of it) makes for good ambiance but I prefer my bathrooms bright. Also, the bed, which I think is made from  natural materials, squeaks when I move.

But overall, this place is great! We stayed at 3 hotels in Palawan during our vacation and this resort,  by far, is the  best. Will totally recommend!

Had a wonderful stay in this boutique beach resort, the rooms are very spacious, modern and new with pretty much all the amenities one would look for, satellite TV, Nespresso machine, great bathroom/shower but to me, the real killer is the view of the beautiful beach view from the room's balcony, waking up to it every morning is something special. The room rate may be on the higher side but I was able to compare among similar resorts with similar rates and none of them have the combination of a great beach front (marmemgmeg beach is wonderful, I was able to run on the beach and then swim in the water afterwards and its not too crowded). very good food and the room amenities. So overall, if you're looking for a resort of this level, this is probably the best in El Nido.

Having never been to El Nido before, Maremegmeg was the perfect place to rest and relax while absorbing the stunning beauty of the islands. The facilities including the room, pool, beach, and beach bar were beautiful and very well maintained with stunning views from every angle. With breakfast included every day, daily complimentary cookies and coffee in the room, and free rental of paddle board and kayaks- the higher cost of the hotel is absolutely worth it, especially considering the prime sunset viewing location, 2 for 1 daily happy hours, and delicious food. Staff and service were SO helpful, courteous, and proactive; Angel the reservation manager was absolutely phenomenal in helping to arrange island hopping, transportation, and even helped us set up last minute plans for our next destination.

I cannot recommend Maremegmeg enough for a relaxing, gorgeous, luxury stay!

I for sure have probably been one of the most interesting and some would say testing guests at maremegmeg. All of course I would like to think in a sincere way, every request that I had, the staff and team would try their best to assist me. I eat a pretty clean plant based diet and everyone at the hotel from Melanie, Keith and Jason tried their very best to make me feel at home. Almost every meal that I had was off the menu which was amazing for me as I am quite a strict vegan, they made such an effort to order foods for me that they normally would not order and I was so happy. Big thank you to Jason for listening to all my requests on how I like my food prepared, what I liked to eat and don't.. So very appreciated. Also for Melanie for introducing me to lato 😍

The team at maremegmeg made my stay. everyone from front of house, Rhoda, Earl and Jane were so patient, always smiling and attentive including the floor staff. Big shout out to the guys on the beach trying to keep everyone happy from Mark, Daniel and Chris who was making sure everyone on the beach felt safe. One of the reasons why I extended my time at the hotel was for this reason as the staff were so wonderful.

The hotel is still developing, Melanie and the team are creating such an innovative concept for the area that will appeal to all and I am very excited for them and the hotel as it can only get better.

Looking forward to going back one day to that beautiful beach, eating mangos, enjoying the yoga, seeing all the happy friendly faces with my spot ready for me.. 😉

Really love the team at maremegmeg.. Big love to Melanie, Tony and diggy and what they are doing and creating.

I had the nicest time I didn't want to leave.. Evelyn x

Family of 4 (2 young kids) travelling. Stayed 5 nights. Hotel is beautiful, superb, new and so luxurious. In my opinion the best location in El Nido, the pool for sure is the best in the whole island. Restaurant food and drinks were all of them delicious, very impressed with the kitchen and complimented the chef myself. Very nice vibe, there is always outside guests in the restaurant. Music is of very good taste and changes as the day goes by. Excelente quality sound system. Staff went above and beyond to attend our requests, nothing seemed to be a problem. Special compliments to the waiter Richard, Iris, Mark , most of the girls and the reception staff. Room was cleaned everyday while we were on breakfast. Kids loved the daily cookies the left in the room. Staff at reception were very prompt and direct in replying to all my questions via email and private transfers was impeccable. We love our time there and would not exitate in coming back. Price paid is worth it every cent Thank you so much to all. Arnoldo, Clara, Luna and Noa.

I can't help but rave about how wonderful this boutique resort is. it has beautiful interiors and luxurious bed, spacious rooms, and amenities. Booking with them was a breeze, they respond very quickly to concerns. However, my only comment would be that the bathroom shower walls in the room seem to provide less privacy - you can hear the people passing along the corridors. would suggest informing reservations if you value quiet time and privacy, however they may book you up in the higher rooms (the many steps may not be senior-friendly). But overall, an amazing place for couples, and friends!

After 9 days in Japan, 4 days in Hong Kong, we ended our over a week trip in the Philippines with El Nido. The resort has impressed us from the moment we booked with them last year, to our private airport pick up, our welcome reception from the front staff (with signature cocktails), the entry to our gorgeous room with the wonderful view, housekeeping services that included nightly turndown service with fresh baked cookies, the dining and bar servers who were all very warm and attentive, and the private tour guide and boat crew who were all very impressive.

We’ve been to the Bahamas, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, and Maui and we believe that El Nido and this resort are by far the best as compared to of all those tropical beach locations we’ve been. The owners have carefully curated the most exquisite decor to complement their Filipino modern architecture and design, and the impressive rooms that were built with nature and the mountain in mind, which meant they built into nature and not against or chopped up the environment it sits on.

Needless to say, we’ve enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. We highly recommend!

We checked out of our previous resort (Panorama) early and moved to Maremegmeg, and we are SO glad that we did. The resort is perfectly located, right on Maremegmeg Beach, which is the most beautiful we visited while in El Nido, and not far from El Nido town.

The staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly, looked after us very well and also went the extra mile in assisting with a special occasion for my girlfriend.

The resort itself has only 12 or so rooms, so feels intimate and the fact that the rooms are set into the hillside overlooking the beach means every one has a phenomenal view of the El Nido bay. The rooms are great, contemporary, spotlessly clean, and spacious. The rooms have all the amenities you need.

While the resort is quite small in terms of rooms, the beach club (bar and restaurant) means that the is a good buzz, good food and drink immediately available and we loved hanging out there during the day time and evening. The beach bar closes at 9.30/10pm so doesn’t disturb sleep at all.

I suspect this is the best resort around El Nido and we would love to go back. We looked at a few other places and were so relieved to have found Maremegmeg Beach Club, it was certainly a massive upgrade on Panorama.

The only suggestions I have for attention are (1) breakfast could be more varied, more fresh fruit, perhaps consider doing a la carte given limited number of guests, and (2) staff can be a little more proactive, particularly with drinks around the pool/beach.

I was staying 4 amazing nights in this beautiful hotel.
The location is the best in El Nido, just 15min from airport and downtown.
All tours can be arrange by the hotel stuff which done above expectations to answer all our needs.
Rooms and hotels amenities are top class and food is exceptionally good!

I will definitely come back soon!

Thanks Maremegmeg team for a dream days in Paradise!

If you booked from Maremegmeg, you can ask for a shuttle service to and from the airport in advance. (It's for a fee though but it's hassle-free)
