We decided to celebrate our family member birthday by staying at Mandarin. The Mandarin GR team decided to surprise my family by decorating my room with balloons and birthday cake. It definitely lift up the mood.. I truly appreciate the gesture..

The hotel has a very strict health protocol, hand sanitizers are everywhere, and they ensured me that my room was properly cleaned and there was a sticker to shows that the room was not used for the last 24 hours.

The pool and fitness staff are very polite. I was surprised when they found a very small part of my camera which I accidentally lost around the pool. I never even asked them to find it.. yet they did...

I would also like to comment on the Cinnamon restaurant who ensures that food are properly prepared!! not to mention very delicious...

It was the fist time we stay outside during this Covid pandemic. Before I proceed my booking to payment, I had to check and ensure that healthy is hotel top priority. I searched and got an information from their website that they have implemented a program that ensure healthy and comfort for their guests from arrival until leave the hotel and also for all the staffs. And they did implement the program during our stay.

We love the room very much, the view to Jalan Sudirman was nice. Our room is spacious & clean with nice & elegant interior decoration, has a separate toilet and walk in closet. The marble finished bathroom is our favorite, it is big & elegant, we spend lot of times in the bathtub, it is quite big that 4 of us (2 kids) are able to enjoy it together. Bathroom fixtures also ran very well, no complaint about the rain shower, hot water, flush etc.

We could not try the pool, because public facilities are temporarily close due to pandemic's social restriction. But it was not a problem since the pool is just a standard pool that not so interesting especially for the kids. We also could not experience the breakfast buffet as the restaurant was closed, but our in room breakfast that we ordered are slightly lessened our curiosity.

My kids love your spacious room, but it's better to provide some fun activities for kids. If you can't provide any fun water activity, you can provide a kid's lounge, where they can play and have a lot of fun there.

All in all a 5 star rating is still reasonable for this hotel.

Our credit goes to Inggride, Vivian, Belinda and Mia, such an excellent service they gave to us since reservation until our arrival. Thank you for the surprise.
ps: we still want to try your BF buffet some time in the future.

This was our first hotel to visit during the pandemic. It took us a while to leave our surroundings and check into a hotel during the global pandemic. We booked this hotel as a gift to our daughter who had done well in school last academic year. The hotel knew this as they had inquired our intentions even before we checked. They wanted to surprise her. So Mia from the Guest relations and Tiffany from the Front desk knocked on the door with a piece of their signature American chocolate cake to surprise her. This was very much appreciated.

The room was sealed upon arrival for safety. It was spacious and so was the bathroom. My wife had requested a room overlooking the Jakarta fountain which also meant we got a pool view room. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The housekeeping was ready to provide you with all your needs and hygienic requirements.

The swimming pool requires a reservation to maintain social distancing requirements and that was easily taken care of. The breakfast is also in slots to avoid an overcrowded restaurant. The table is only set after you sit down for coronavirus hygiene precautions. The buffet was behind glass and was served as you request it. The breakfast crew were alert to make sure you had all that you wanted. The second day as we were finishing breakfast. Mia from Cinnamon restaurant surprised us with a toy and goodies from MO Cakeshop for our daughter and typical Indonesian "Lapis Legit" to welcome as to their loyalty programme Fans of MO. Thank you Mia, Maria, Niken, Anita, Yoga and the rest of the team. they even made sure I had a takeaway latte for on the road.
Checkout was just as easy as checking in and the receptionist Shendy walked with us to the car to see us off.

I understand that you never can be totally safe from coronavirus exposure, but the hotel is doing everything possible to keep the guests and personnel safe.

Thank you all for an excellent stay. you guys are amazing.

My friend told me that I must try to stay in Mandarin Oriental Jakarta Hotel, then i tried to book in OTA because they give crazy promotion price for mandarin oriental Jakarta hotel. Finally i was arrive in saturday 10 october 2020 in that hotel. Very corious with their service and hospitality.

One week before arrival, i made communication with duty manager and all guest relationship team. I was discussing about shoot and content creation during my stay because i would like to make VLOG and instastory for myself comsumption. They approve that and i allowed to shoot my unforgetable journey staycation in this hotel.

first arrival, in security screening all staff said my full name. I was suprice for that, how come they know my name and well prepare communication each other. very good coordination and good job. then i go ahead to repsecionist and cheking process, and Guest relationship , Name : Mia , ask to me follow her go to my room number 1014. Room has disinfected during pandemic, they make sure all room was cleaned.

And first enter the room i m very happy and exited for their well preparation, more than my expectation, they playing my favourite song "Beautiful in white" with some my pictures, they take some my pictures from my instagram, very very creative team, I love you all. Room is quite and cool, and she present to me Favourite cake for complimentary and make decoration in the wall.

All staff know my full name, they very speed work while i ask something, not make me waiting to long. and i got souvenir complimentary : red pen, that are very nice.

I order some ala carte from Li Fung restaurant because I see recomended and pretty menu : Swan dapping black pepper duck meat, some other menu.

In room dining staff : Mr. Gilang give me best service and arrange platting for my lunch.

Duty manager : Ms Nia offer me to late chek out until 16.00 , very very nice and kind staff.

Thank you for welcoming card for all guest relation team : Ms Belianda, Ms Inggride, Ms viviana, Ms Mia, for duty manager : Mr Nanang, Mr Haris, and Ms Nia.

you have nice collaboration to make your guest become fly while you give your best services

i would love to recommended your hotel for everyone for your best hospitality in town .

I'll start with we got a room upgrade! Yayy!!! We stayed during PSBB transition, in weekend, the room was super clean, hand sanitizer provided in the room, and in almost every corner of the hotel, clearly MOJKT applied all the required health protocol. We Had breakfast at the buffet resto, the same health protocol and social distancing were applied. It was a satisfying and safe quick stay thanks to friendly and caring guest relations ladies; Inggrid, Vivian, Belinda and Mia ^^ oh and the kids loved the super spacious room!
Tips for guests: pre-book if you want to use the swimming pool/fitness facility during pandemic, they limit the number of users and timing to be able to clean the facilities as often as possible.
Suggestion for hotel: would be great to have more staff serving during busy weekend breakfast time.

We stayed as a family with toddler (1.5 years) for 3 nights in Oriental Suite Room.

The room was huge (95 sqm) consisted of livingroom and bedroom with a huge bathroom. We could feel that the room was quite old but nevertheless still classy and well maintained. The furniture and bedding were top notch, no complain whatsoever in that regards.

The bathroom amenities were Acqua Di Parma which was one of our favorite, and to our surprise, by staying in a suite we got the big bottles which is very satisfying.

Of course the main advantage of getting room at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta was the view and what a view it was! We got two vistas, one overlooking the welcome monument and the other Jalan Sudirman. For the price it offered, we believe Mandarin will give you the best bang for the buck.

As we were staying in a suite, we got club benefits automatically, in addition to Friends of MO benefit (we chose dining credit and celebratory treat). As the club was still closed due to the ongoing pandemic, we got afternoon tea (cake slices and tea/coffee) and evening cocktails (drinks and dinner!) which we believe was more beneficial albeit we had to have it in the room. In addition, we got early check in (12 PM) and late check out (4 pm).

Last but not least the people really makes the place - and the people at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta was just a cut above the rest. From the GR to the housekeeping staff are all very courteous and we could feel their sincerity.

We were very impressed with our stay and will not think twice to stay again at Mandarin Oriental for our next stay.

The location of this hotel is almost perfect, in the center of Jakarta, with 2 big malls nearby. Luckily I got a room with good price as celebration for my son's birthday. We got birthday compliment such as chocolate cake which is the signature cake from this hotel. The chocolate cake is really really delicious, along with a birthday card and personalized writing on the bathroom glass.

The room is quite big, clean, with perfect view of Bundaran HI, as requested. I like the bathroom with the grey marble and deep bathtub. It would be perfect if the hotel could provide the bubble soap for the bathtub. But you can request for the bathtub salt. Nice. The shower cubicle is also good with handheld and rain shower. This room type also has separate toilet cubicle across the bathroom. I really like this concept.

As I stay during fasting month, the hotel offer in room sahoor menu as a substitute for breakfast. It's a complete menu from appetizer, main course and dessert/fruit. I suggest the hotel can add mineral water besides coffee, tea, or juice.

Last, the hotel guest relation is doing a great job. Thank you especially to Inggride and Haurani for fast response in answering my requests via email and chat.

Unfortunately the swimming pool is a bit small for my liking.

I’m staying for my birthday as suggested by my friends. I was amaze by their willingness to go beyond and doing extra miles for their guest who stayed for special occasion. The room was decorated with balloons, and they play the video that my friend made in the TV (which I know some other hotel wouldn’t do that kind of things). I must thanked the Guest Relations team Inggride, Vivian, Belinda and Mia who kindly arranged it for me. The reception team were also very kind upon my check in and also my check out shout out to Shendy, Nia, Kemal, Tesa and Jeremiah. The room itself was super clean and comfortable, the HK team also made a cute towel art, thank you to Ali, Ardin, Dian, Ahmad, Uthik, Widia and Gunawan. Breakfast in Cinnamon restaurant was served in semi buffet style, the staff made sure we were well feed. Thank you to Mia, Yoga, Deffri, Laras, Maria, Dwi, Lukito, Kevin, Deyna and Kiki in Cinnamon restaurant for your attentiveness and for the little surprise they gave to me. The pool was small but convenient as the access was limited and booking must be made in advance, we feel safe and sound. Thanks to Sari, Mimim, Yoanne, Zachra, Luki and Andri in Fitness and Wellness who were very kind in my short visit. Overall, I’m glad that I spent  my special day in the right place. I was here because of the government regulation to quarantine after an international travel. Prior to choosing this hotel, I researched about quarantine Hotels in Jakarta, and found quite a few people gave this hotel wonderful reviews on YouTube. I finally decided to stay here, and I’m glad I did!

The Mandarin Hotel services started right after the immigration point at the airport. The rep met me there and helped with luggages, passing thru some security points, until I reached the taxi to transport me to the hotel. This service was so very helpful, especially after such a long-tiring journey, to get help from the get go. Excellent!

Staying with Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jakarta was totally a bliss. The hospitality was excellent! Every single one I met went the extra mile to extend their services with their smiles from ear to ear. The room was designed with tasteful luxurious classic with comfort in their mind, and with high quality furnitures that make my stay super comfortable. Most importantly, the room was super clean. They sealed the room after sanitizing it and they made sure I saw when the seal was broken for me to safely entered the room. An assurance that I (we all) need in this pandemic era.

The hotel might be older in age, but definitely maintained very well. One of the perks of the older hotel was the size of the room, which help create my quarantine stay more enjoyable and don’t feel cramped especially when you’re forced to stay in for a period of time. I got the room facing the iconic monument of Bundaran HI (they upgraded my room, btw. Thank you so much!) and the view was amazing. But since the location of the hotel is super prime, makes whichever view you’re facing at, it will be a good one.

Part of the repatriation package was the food. It was served in a nice bento box, and the utensils were put in a covered envelope, with label “we care”. It’s a very nice gesture! The team responsible to send the food, they made sure that I knew that the food had been delivered. They made sure that I have the food while it still warm for a more enjoyable meal. The water they offered was unlimited (simply ask for more if you need it), and they only served water in a glass bottle. I salute those who care about the environment. Super thoughtful!

The bed and the pillows was very comfortable and matched with high quality of bedding. I slept good!

The bathroom was an excellent taste too. The water pressure of the shower was powerful. I feel rejuvenated very quickly after just 1 shower 😁.

I’ve had such wonderful experience during my stay here.I recommend this hotel highly. Mandarin Oriental Hotel Jakarta is definitely one of the best hotels to stay in Jakarta, hands down!

Everyone was wonderful! The room was clean, but one of the cups had lipstick stain on it. I asked for new one, they apologized and gave me one straight away. The best part was the swimming pool. Guests had to make a reservation before entering the pool and max capacity at once was only 4 people. It was just nice because my family consists of 4 people.

Everyone (and I mean everyone) who we interacted with was lovely & helpful. Im sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names.

I requested nonsmoking room and they provided me one. Also I requested them to put towel animals on the bed for my girls and they did! The girls loved them, my 4yo even got her own slippers provided on the bed.

My 2 daughters had a really great time. Definitely will stay at MO again

Within the walking distance we can find shopping malls. Just be careful when crossing road. Should we need to go other places we will use online/ app to get transport, either grab or gocar. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful in this.

If you take a Taxi, take a BlueBird or SilverBird, their code of ethics is amongst the highest. Meter will be on if you haven't prepaid, and they will in fact find you in the event you left a valuable or belonging in the cab by accident. If they are caught stealing or cheating they lose their taxi license and taxi for life. so it's never a question for them

It is true that Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta offer free shuttle service to Plaza Indonesia or Grand Indonesia on weekend but it will take times because depends of the traffic jam on that day. By walking is fastest way to reach to Hotel Indonesia Kempinski. It takes you approximately 10-15 minutes. Thank you and have a nice day.
