East China hotel is located near the Jiangsu provincial government, from the subway station about 10 minutes distance, traffic is not very convenient, but turned at the door of the shop, a bus directly to the subway station, is another option.
D building equipment is good, there are all-weather heating & equipped with computer can connect to the Internet in the room. But wireless WiFi room sometimes not. The waiter's attitude in general, breakfast choice for many, choose breakfast to your taste.
The hotel is in the early Republic of China building, from the campus of Nanjing University is near, suitable for walking tour

Checked into Mansion D of the hotel around 21:00 hours on the 15th November , 2018 with my nephew after a dinner party at a nearby restaurant, the abandoned site of the American embassy in the middle of the last century.
The twin room we stayed overnight was clean, and quiet. As we had to check out at 05:30 hours the next day in order to catch an early flight from the Nanjing Airport for Daqing , Heilongjiang Province, we gave up the opportunity to enjoy the free buffet breakfast.
Wish to be able to stay at that nice hotel longer if there are more chances in the future so that the nice capacities and beautiful/spacious surroundings can be fully utilized and experienced.

Friendly atmosphere, staff were helpful, some English spoken.
Rooms are comfortable.
Surrounded by a large garden for evening strolls.
Breakfasts have lots of variety.
A little bit far away from tourist attractions, but easy enough to get a taxi.

Hotel with separate conference center building within approximately 20 minute taxi to city-center Confucious Temple area of popular shops and restaurants. Hotel is very clean and has smalll conference roomms available, concierge services, business-center, and small tea-room in the lobby (tea-room used to be a cafe-style lounge). Rooms have computer/internet but wi-fi is virtually non-existent despite the reception-desk's repeated issuing of passwords. Breakfast buffet is primarily Chinese-style food, although fried eggs may be available.. Over 5 stays, have never been able to get wifit to work. But there's a lovely upscale gift shop (pricey) that also has had a cooler with Magnum and other ice cream-- which makes everything OK for me.
