Detailed Reviews
A boutique hotel, very convenient location, lots of small local restaurants with excellent food at very cheap price. Close to Ladies Market, Pets (dogs, cats, gold fish…) Markets. Almost right next to a special bus stop going to Zhu Hai ( China).
Highly commended “door man” Vincent & Geoffrey provided excellent service, made you feel very safe and welcomed!

Very conveniently located near to Prince Edward Station and bus stops. Many Food outlets and convenient stores nearby. We had a room on the 24th floor, the view was fantastic. Staff were polite and friendly.

+1
I came across this hotel in a.g.o.d.a and felt it was worth a try based on location, availability and price. Overall I am quite pleased with it and, as long as the price is right, would be willing to stay there again. It is good value, clean, modern and new with decent service.
Some pointers:
===========
- Although the address says Mong Kok, it is really at Prince Edward, one station north of Mong Kok. In fact it is really just 100m away from Prince Edward MTR station exit C2 (or C1 just behind C2). From hotel, go out front door, turn right to end of street about 50m, look right- you can see entrance to Prince Edward MTR C2 diagonally across street, and the main road on right is Nathan road.
- However, the roads are a bit messy there with a lot of what seem to be 3 way intersections so as Harry P said, taxi drivers won't be able to find the hotel easily. Mine simple dropped me off nearby and I took another 15 minutes walking around before I found the hotel.
- Although downstairs has a single person dressed smartly in a wrinkle free suit, the actual hotel lobby is level 7. But once you have your hotel keycards, you can just go straight down to ground floor to exit the hotel and use your hotel keycard at the lift to go straight to your floor
- They asked for HKD$1,000 deposit, which can be paid by cash or credit card. If cash, they will refund straight away, if credit card (which I did- I mean who wants to give $1000 spending money right?), you had to sign the chit, and they said they would refund the amount in 2 weeks time.
The Good:
=========
- Opened in Feb 2014 so it's brand spanking new. Everything fresh, nothing falling off or peeling or dated.
- Staff performance is quite professional, even though it's not a large place. Never came across anyone who looked bored, or did not pay attention to you. Not the biggest smilers, but they were attentive and friendly.
- free WiFi. Hate hotels who charge for internet.
- x2 bottles of free mineral water daily. And each bottle is 700ml. That's quite generous. Also gave x2 packets of biscuits which looked like shortbread.
- I was on level 21 and the view was good, given the buildings were not that attractive. At least there was space and you weren't just a metre away from the next building.
- Attractive decor.
- Hot water from shower came on straight away.
- Room I had was x 2 single beds. Not enough room for x2 suitcases. But the beds are actually raised- higher than normal, and I think (Personal opinion only) that it is so you can slot your suitcase under the bed. I felt the beds were comfortable. But I've seen some reviews where beds I thought were ok, the reviews felt they were hard.
- Bathroom reasonable size
- Room office desk has a international power point adaptor.
Not so good:
==========
- One time the WiFi cut out. When I went to reception about it- they said to turn the router off and on again to fix it, and it worked,. Otherwise the signal was always strong.
- The room lacks a cupboard. I never use the cupboard, but it emphasises the smaller size. There is a clothes rack with x 2 hangers and x5 hooks.
- Perhaps the biggest issue was the in room safe. It's at the coffee table between the two single beds. and was not bolted to anything, so it was totally loose and thus I could carry it out of the room and out of the hotel if I wanted. Defeats the purpose of the safe imho.Such a pity there was such an oversight.
Overall I was pleased. Good price, attractive and new, comfortable bed, decent view, high floor, I got the sun through the window (Weather has gotten hot in HK recently so room is warm- air con works well so hot room not a problem), close to mtr and Nathan road and other eateries. Prince Edward station is actually in the "centre" of the HK railway netwark too, so you can go north/south/east/west reasonable easily.

The location is strategic as it is close with MTR and 7/11. But the room is HAUNTED with ghosts!!!!! During the night, the stinky awful smell will appear and then dissapear. My kid had nightmares and kept crying that the ghost in the room disturbed him. Then when my son woke up, he kept pointing beside the table and told us that the ghosts were there.
Besides this, the housekeeping also very rude and didnt really doing his job in clening the room. I will definitely not coming back ever ever again !!!!!!

This is the worst hotel I ever stay in hongkong.. The room was super small and the basin for washing up was next to the main door. The toilet was super small and the bed was hard like rock.. When I sit on the bed I'm just like sitting on a piece of hard wood.. Avery bad experience for this trip...

I got this Hotel by bidding a 4 * Hotel in the Mongkok area of Kowloon through Priceline.com. Initially, I was quite happy when I won the bid by $ 100/night for my 12 night stay.
The first thing I find it strange is my PL receipt stated it is an Agoda Booking????
Then I went on line and check the winning 4* hotel and find, the room size is only 11 m2 for a double room, total of 50 rooms and no gym or exercise facilities or restaurant.
Upon arrival at the Hotel, first of all, the Hotel clerk wants $ 1,000 as a deposit. I ask them what is the deposit, the clerk rolls his eye and told me unless I pay the deposit, I can not get my room. Attempts to contact PL in HK failed since the phone on my PL receipt don't work. I finally end up paying the deposit which I did get it back upon check out. Listed below are the Pros and Cons of this Hotel. One final conclusion is I will not use PL anymore unless there is no other choice. By reading the comment below, you will know why I don't think it is a 4 *.
Pros: 1. Good location for visiting HK since it is close to the HK/Kowloon Subway system. 2. Hotel is relatively new.
Cons: 1. This is really a transitional hotel for people traveling by bus between HK/Kowloon and main land China cities close to HK. Hotel is located where the main Trans Boarder Buses are located. At certain time of the day, there are hundreds of passengers and many big buses. After 12 nights, the door man get to know us and told us, most people are either 1 or 2 nights stays with very few who stays more than 2 nights, specially not 12 nights.
2. Room size is only 11 m2 for a double room.
3. Bed is hard as a rock.
4. No closet, just 5 hooks on the wall to put your clothes.
5. No space to put your luggage. We end up placing our bags on the desk.
6. Not even a chair in the room.
7. Small bathroom but good water pressure for showers.
8. When the street is full of passengers and buses, it is very noisy.
I have taken several pictures and they are all attached.

We booked this hotel after reading the good reviews in Tripadvisor for our family year end vacation, never regret with our booking. The hotel is quite new, location is superb as nearby have many local eateries which very convenient for old and young family members. We got a family suite which very surprisingly the size is big compared to many HK's 5 star hotels. Room/bed and toilet is clean. The hotel staff service level still have room to improve, more friendly and smiling face would be an added bonus for this hotel. Overall satisfied with this hotel.

i decided to stay at this hotel since all the reviews were awesome. However, once i arrived to the hotel i realized that the rooms are completely different from the ones shown in the pictures, but i was not going to let that ruined my time there.
in the second day the smell of cigarettes was terrible and the staff said the whole building was a non smoking building and the only thing they could do was spray air freshener in the room. The staff is not helpful at all, if you don't like something they don't go out of their way to make it up for you, instead, they just say sorry.
Pros:
- they don't exchange money at the hotel
- rooms are really tiny
- awful staff
- they rush you before you're check out time is due
i would never recommend this hotel to anybody. so don't let the photos nor most of the "i would recommend" reviews fool you.

New hotel with very complete amenties at reasonable price at good location.
Hair dryer, Tooth brush, shaver, shower needs, brush, slippers, alarm clock, lcd tv, hot shower with GOOD pressure, bottles waters, tea/coffee facilities.
Near to prince Edward mtr interchange. Very near. Take exit C2 from the mtr, once at road, walk towards a restaurant n bar called "Co Co duck, walk along the restaurant, pass by a seven 7-11, right before a hpoel called xxx Excellent hotel (can't remember). This is only maybe a less than 200 walk.
Ground level with a only a security desk will always has someone on duty. Hotel lobby is actually at level 7 so no panic if u thought u got to a really budget hotel.
Will come back again if on budget.

We stayed during Jan 2016 and existed in the family on the 12th level (if my memory serves me well).
This hotel and the building is very different to what you would conventionally expect in the average hotel. It is firstly a VERY narrow and tall building with around two rooms per floor. So don't be surprised when you notice this.
Also...
The lobby is not on the ground floor. As soon as you walk in, you will be greeted by a security guard or two who will direct you to the level that has the lobby. So once the holiday started with this, I found this very strange.
The hotel itself is extremely modern, contemporary and has a state-of-the-art feel. It is a brand new building and they maintain the hotel perfectly and impeccably well. It is very very clean and nicely kept!
The family room we stayed at was extremely spacious and large. Infact, considering the high density nature of Hong Kong and how real estate is expensive, the room is great value for money. There were four king single beds arranged neatly with two bathrooms, one having an adjoining shower+toilet+sink and the other having a toilet+sink only. This was very convenient for us and the hotel almost felt like a large studio apartment. Housekeeping was adequate and the housekeeping staff were very friendly.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel room.
They also offered "Breakfast", however don't get excited. It consisted of a juice box and a packet of cookies per person. The breakfast was underwhelming so I suggest you purchase proper breakfast from an alternative area.
The security guard or sometimes two guards would always greet you with a smile when you entered. The presence of the guard makes you feel much safer in the hotel (although the area is not too bad). On this topic, the hotel itself is Close right by Prince Edward MRT. This aspect was the most pleasing when we ventured out to go on our sightseeing trips.
The breakfast was insufficient and laughable and the lobby staff were not that very welcoming (except for the great security guards and housekeeping staff). These were the only shortcomings of the hotel. Other than that, the size of the room, cleanliness and modern feel makes this hotel great value for money.

Ok just cane back there is a small hair dryer but it’s like 1000 Watt of power
so not very good for long hair as it takes ages to dry long hair
1) i didnt take free shuttle service fm airport express thus unable to advice. I took the airport bus A21, once alight i did a short walk to the hotel.
2) as mentioned you can take airport bus A21 there however when u want to return to the airport the airport bus A21 bus stop is quite a distance fm the hotel. The bus stop from the airport to hotel is nearer
