Quiet, near the metro, clean, friendly staff. a bit of mold on the tile shower walls but otherwise spotless. Safe area of town. Easy transport from the airport. We took the express airport train to the courtesy hotel shuttle terminal, K4 shuttle to 4th stop at the Empire Hotel in Kowloon, then walked up the hill to the hotel. They replenish water bottles daily. Lounge open with coffee, tea, crackers, hot water. Very clean and lots of windows. Would stay here again. I think the prices were low because of all the recent protests.

great localization, good space and the most fair cost. This hotel is 20m close from the Knustford Terrace, wher you´ll find great pubs ans restaurants for happy hours.
By the way, the city is great! A NY city in Asia. Big Buda and Pick are amazing points.

I have been stay many time in this hotel. It’s in the heart of Tsimshatsui on top of the hill that makes it real quiet, rooms are spacious for Hong Kong standard and bathroom is slightly bigger than the average in HK. The room on high floor have a beautiful view of Kowloon City

Room: Bigger than average in HK, comfortable bed, very clean, aircond worked perfect, nice shower... WIFI fast and reliable.

Location: in the heart of TST but you have to climb a very steep hill, if your knees are not in a perfect shape, maybe better to book another hotel. Otherwise, you will find hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars, subway, bus, etc just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Staff: As usual in HK, the staff is not very friendly or helpful, they do the minimum effort to reply questions or requests.

Will never book this hotel again. Such a steep climb just to reach the hotel. None from the reception would like to assist us in talking to the Uber driver for our transfer back to the airport. There's no room service. Worst of all, bed bugs!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights and overall were happy with this hotel. We arrived early but couldn’t check in until 2pm which is fair enough. They allowed us to store our bags while we explored locally. The staff here spoke really good English so communication was easy.

The hotel outside is really nothing special and I was a bit worried about what the room would be like when you look form the outside but we had nothing to worry about.

The room was comfortable, modern and clean. There is a small fridge and a safe in the cupboard. The rooms are a little small but not tiny – two of us were fine in this room. There isn’t a huge amount of room to hang up clothes etc but we didn’t have much luggage so it didn’t matter to us. The bathroom had a good shower and enough space for all of our toiletries etc. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well. The room is serviced daily and was very clean. Wifi in the room was good and didn’t drop out.

There is a mall guest facilities room on the 2 or 3rd floor. IN the mornings you can have tea/coffee and basic bread buns and some fruit which we really appreciated.

The location of this hotel is good. There is everything you need on your doorstep. Bars, cafes, restaurants. There is Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) MTR station approx. 8 min walk away and we used that often to go to Hong Kong Island or to other districts. If you use the MTR station at TST you need exit B1 to get back to the hotel. These MTR stations are huge and the exits can be miles apart. So when you return to TST and want to go back to the hotel choose exit B1. Knutsford Terrace which is right next to hotel has some great restaurants and bars and is quite lively a night. It’s only a 15 min walk down to the waterfront to see the Hong Kong skyline. Plus just a 5 min walk from Kowloon Park which is lovely to walk around and has amazing swimming pools for a refreshing swim.

I’ve seen from previous posts that people have asked how to get to this hotel and there are a few options:

From the airport, you can take the airport express to Kowloon Station. It just stops at Tsing Yi and then Kowloon and takes just over 20 mins. Then from Kowloon you can either take the shuttle bus to stop K4. This will take about 20 mins. Take bus K4 to stop 3 or 4. That stop is essentially on the corner of Kimberly Rd and Observatory Road so to them get to hotel you walk up Observatory Road. Yes it’s a steep hill but it’s only about 100m so it’s not that bad. The shuttle bus service is free once you have paid for you train ticket.

Alternatively you can get a taxi from Kowloon Station (after you’ve taken the airport express to that station) and the taxi will take you to just outside the hotel. We did that journey once and the taxi cost approx. $70HK (about $12AUD).

Or the last one which I wouldn’t recommend is that you can just on the airport express and change at the first stop (Tsing Yi). Then you can connect to the main MTR network and you could (with a couple of changes) get to Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) MTR station. Then you’ll have about a 10 min walk to the hotel. However the walk from TST MTR is long some very busy streets with pedestrians everywhere! It would be difficult with luggage walking along these roads with so many people around so I’d definitely go with one of the other options. If you do use this MRT station to get to hotel you will need exit B1.

Overall, we were happy with this hotel. It’s a good price compared to other hotels and the place is safe, clean, comfortable and a great location. We’d happily stay again.

Like I write at the title, if you really don't care about your room is entered by someone in the middle night without your permission and don't care the hotel manager / staff don't think invading your privacy is a big issue, then it is a good hotel.

Me and my girl stayed in this hotel on 3/23 night. We choose this hotel because of the niceness of the rooms, which they did provide me with a nice room.

However, around 2am in the morning, I was in the middle of 'something' with my girl, then someone ring the door bell and open the door without any hesitation. A person opens the door and went right into the room. When my girl start screaming the person quickly close the door. We took a bit of time dress up as we were at our most comfortable form. When I opened the door, of course there were no body, Then I called the front desk to find out what is going on, it is the best part, they told me a service lady "mistakely" thought I asked for a towel. I asked how can they do that? opening the door without waiting for response. The front desk only keep on saying "I am sorry, I will tell the manager tomorrow". At this point, I know "I am sorry" is the only thing they can say and so I decided to talk with their manager later of the day.

But, I guess they really don't think invading a person's privacy is a big issue. Because when I go to their front desk, they pretend nothing happened! asked for my credit card and didnt say a word! I asked for their manager, they responsed "I am sorry, the manager won't be here today", and I asked how they going to deal with their disrespectful action, they just replied "sorry, there is nothing I can do".

I was furious; what really angered me is their attitiude. If a hotel take service seriously, at least they will show some sort of sign that they care. But this one doesn't, they just try to pretend it never happened, and showed no sign of willingness to change; to them it is just another same day.
For a point I didn't want to pay for the hotel, but I realize I am in Hong Kong, where I don't know if they going to call the police for such refusal; they don't care about what I go through, why wouldn't they dare to call in police or gangsters?

Please, dont regert like me, believe me it is not a experience you want to have as a man. Think twice before when you are attracted by the photos, a experience like this is not worth the money, at least if I knew this was going to happen, I wouldn't even go if it was for free. If they can go into my room 2AM in the morning without my permission, and what other things they don't dare to do?
For your own safty, please mark my words seriously....

I had a booking at this property at the beginning of August. However, due to a personal emergency in my family I had to make a last minute cancellation. The hotel simply refused to budge from its usual cancellation policy and process a refund. They simply stopped responding to emails after a while!

I understand that its not possible to always deviate from existing policies however if during an emergency an establishment is unable to stand by fellow human beings, not sure what world we live in.

Cant comment on the rooms as I didnt stay.

We booked 2 rooms for 4 people through Agoda at this hotel. We prepaid in full for the rooms several weeks in advance. We booked two superior rooms with double beds for two nights.

Upon arriving, the woman manning the desk (Kaman) told us that she would be upgrading us to deluxe rooms with special bathrooms. It turns out they were incredibly depressing handicapped rooms with a combination shower/toilet (so after showering the entire floor is wet if you want to use the toilet). In no way were these rooms an improvement over our original rooms and were very much a step down.

It turned out that the hotel had given away our prepaid rooms "in the morning" because it was very busy. They refused us any other option except a room with two single beds (still a huge improvement over the handicapped rooms).

My opinion about this hotel is that they could care less about customers and won't think twice about selling your reserved room to make a few bucks. They knew we would have trouble finding other accommodations on short notice and screwed us, because they could. They were even so dishonest that they labeled their very low quality handicapped rooms as "deluxe" and think their customers are stupid enough to fall for it. They had every opportunity to offer ANYTHING to compensate us or make us happy and they didn't.

Even when we switched to the room with 2 single beds, the rooms were not great quality. The rooms are older, there are big holes in the bathroom walls, and the beds are uncomfortable (hard) with cheap sheets. The front desk staff was not helpful and there are very few amenities offered. The photos do not match the reality! I honestly had a much better stay at the Pop Hotel in Mongkok which is half the price. For me, its never worth staying at a hotel that has a policy of dishonesty.
