1. The location is good. Transportation and shopping is very convenient. Customer service is good but the cleaniness is very very bad. Even the toilet os smelly, the cleaners will not clean well, still smelly too. I have to clean it myself. Never moping the floor.

I stayed here with my wife in the standard room, and my parents in the a deluxe room on the 15th floor. I read the reviews carefully before this trip, and I have to disagree with some of the others' view. Firstly, this hotel is in causeway bay, everything is about location, location, location. It is very convenient with bus station to the airport and food stores right below the hotel. For the location, the price is very reasonable. Yes, the standard room that my wife and I are in is quite small, but we spend most of the day out of the hotel, just need a clean shower and a clean bed to sleep in, which we got. My parents stayed in the deluxe room, where there is a couch for them to rest during the day, and the room is much bigger, but it cost a little more. You get what you pay for.

I was a little worried about noise, given that it is in causeway bay. However, we have the windows closed most of the time, and we do not hear ANY traffic noise. As for paper thin walls? I don't think so, the doors are fairly solid, so it blocks noise well. However, because it is so heavy, we do hear other people closing the doors sometimes, I can live with that since that doesn't happen too often. I am not a very good sleeper if there are any noise, well, on days I don't have commitments, I have no problem sleeping until 10am, and the maid service will clean the room after we leave the room.

The kitchenette is small, but why would you cook when you are 5 minutes from jardine's street which has restaurants lined up, and they are all fairly reasonable price. I just use the kitchen to boil some water for tea and coffee.

Overalls, not a luxury hotel by any means, does not have much facilities, but a room with a clean shower and clean sheets are all I need, and I got them. So pretty happy.

This was our second stay at RH. It was a nice place to stay for the price as my relative who lives in Hong Kong had checked a couple of other places like Shama for me and this has better value, and we definitely enjoyed the convenience - it only took us 2 minutes to get from our room to a restaurant (Affluent Kitchen - western and Chinese - a breakfast set is like HK$27 per person) that's right next to the apartments. Watson's (a bit like Walgreens minus the pharmacy, and less extensive), McDonalds, one other fastfood place (has meals like spaghetti with meatsauce, western and Chinese dishes), Starbucks and 7 Eleven are all practically next to the restaurant. A hospital is right across from the apt. and it says 24-hour outpatient service. We stayed at a one-bedroom apt. on the 10th floor (about 600 sq. ft.) and it was quiet. The previous reviewer (Rene) mentioned that the walls are thin - we couldn't tell either way perhaps because there was no one next door. We did take precaution by hanging the "do not disturb" sign out before we go to bed, and that solves the problem of someone knocking on the door early in the morning, and then on our way out, we just told the staff that we wanted the room cleaned. The bathroom is modern but we think some smell is coming from the drainage hole on the floor which we covered, and it seemed to help. It is certainly busy outside RH, but we found a stroll to the nearby Hong Kong Stadium relaxing. Just walk across the street toward the hospital and turn left (if you're facing the hospital). Keep walking, and you will enter a quieter area with a (soccer?) field on the your right with trees and flowers along the way. All in all we think our stay at RH was fine.

This place is small and depressing. The furniture looks like they took a trip to the Salvation Army to purchase it. Not to mention the fact that the bed and the couch are stuffed with cement. I'm stuck here for several months. There is no sink in the so-called "kitchenette," so if you do eat anything, you have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink.

The walls are absolutely paper thin. Apparently, Tyhpoid Mary is living next door to me and all night and all morning it sounds like she's hacking up a lung. I hear her as if she was standing next to me. And I don't know how loudly she's got her t.v., but I can hear it better than the one in my "living room." Then, there are the trucks outside. I'm on the 8th floor. Not only do the trucks sound like they're right outside your window--the windows actually rattle.

It's very hot right now and the only way to get the humidity out of the room is to freeze it. So, I have the air conditioning running all the time and it's making me sick. There doesn't seem to be a way to come to a happy medium.

The lighting in the room is atrocious. They sent up another standing lamp, but it's still dark and depressing. The only window is in the bedroom area at the end of the apartment. It lets in absolutely no light.

And YES--there is a smell in the room. It was coming from the a weird drain pipe in the middle of the bathroom floor. I complained and now there's some very lovely shipping tape over the drain hole. I'm fairly convinced that what is coming up--which smelled like sewage, is still getting around the tape.

The bathroom has nowhere to put any thing. I had to go to an IKEA and buy a plastic 3-tiered shelf. There is no tub, only a shower-which has NOTHING in it. So ladies, if you're planning on shaving your legs, you'll have to go to Ikea like I did and buy a stool because there's nothing to put your foot on. With the bad lighting in the bathroom and the lack of a make up mirror-it's damn hard to get yourself together. I'm going to have to now find a lighted make-up mirror. (No, Ikea didn't have it.)

The staff is very lovely, but they can't make up for the fact that this place is a dump.

There are far better places in HK to stay.

I spent just under 3 months living at Regent Heights, and couldn't have been more impressed. I stayed on the 16th floor in a deluxe room and was pleasantly surprised after some of the more negative reviews I had read on here.

The room was spacious, modern and immaculately clean. The staff were always incredibly pleasant and eager to help in any way they could. The location of the serviced apartments is fantastic. The tram stop is steps away from the building, there are a constant stream of buses outside the door and always loads of taxis on hand. There are also a plethora of really great restaurants around Regent Heights (esp. Burger Room, it's amazing!).

I really have no negative comments about the stay. Yes, the walls could be a little thicker, but in the scheme of things, Regent Heights is a really decent place to stay.

Also, the staff are all really good at English and so any issues you might have are very quickly sorted out. When my air con stopped working it was reported in the morning and fixed by the afternoon.

Well done Regent Heights!

I don't think i ever had a much worse experience anywhere else or even in a 2star property as i had it here, apparently in a 5 star hotel.
Located in the heart of the city, causeway bay opposite to Soho mall and a shopping area its the only best part about this hotel. Connectivity to other places around the city is easier.
But if your expecting even the slightest of luxury, forget it. The rooms will suffocate you with over stuffed furniture and a weird watery smell. If by any chance you are 3 people in one room maybe the 3rd has to sleep in the air. No space to walk around. Their policies are rigid and not hospitable at all. Your room towels along with the linens and toiletries would only be changed after 3 days as they're saving water.
Hong kong being the hub of tourism and also a very well developed city, regents breakfast buffet was not accommodating their tourists and guests.
Having the maximum number of Indian inhouse guests they didn't make any effort to keep something vegetarian or Indian in their menu.
The staff couldn't have been more rude, uncivilised and uncouth in terms of presenting their training and service to us. It was our mistake to order a few beers from room service as the boy who got it was barging in our room of two girls making us feel quite unsafe. Repeatedly he was saying i wont put my foot out until you pay.
After travelling for so many years to different countries i knew that at the checkout all bills are cleared, it left me even more suspicious and scared.
Reluctantly knowing that not much could be done we still called the manager present that night. Being a girl first she didn't understand the proper conduct of humanity, all she was repeating was that its our policy and we can't really help you.
I believe if i ever plan to visit hong kong again, this is not the place that i would think of staying.

I stayed at a room on the 5th floor, it was a two bedroom serviced apartment.

First of all, the room smelled funny the whole time I was there. It barely got any sunlight, it was winter and it was cold, there was no heating system. I called to ask for an extra blanket and was told they would check and let me know if they had any. Did not hear from them again.

Also be prepared to have people knocking on your door constantly, sometimes at 8 in the morning asking if you want your room cleaned. One time, the lady rang my doorbell and banged hard and continuously like her life depended on it. When you tell them to come back later, they want to know exactly when, and I had one particular girl tell me she would like to clean my room so that she could go home (so rude). This was a huge annoyance as I was on holiday, not to mention incredibly poor service attitude.

The walls are paper thin. My bedroom was on the opposite side of what I can only assume is the living room of a family living next door. In the morning, around 7am I can hear the baby crying and the sound of their TV. I can hear people chatting, and a child knocking on the wall with her toys. At one point, I was lying in bed and I could hear a telephone conversation someone was having on speakerphone. This was so frustrating because I am a light sleeper, and I value my resting time. So awful.

The ONLY thing worth a penny is the location. It is right across St Pauls Hospital and about a ten minute walk from Sogo and Windsor House.

To sum it up in one sentence, it was gloomy, cold, bothersome, and noisy. If you are desperate and need a place to stay for a few days this might suffice, but that is not possible because you can't rent for less than a month.

Regent heights provided one of the worst stays that I have ever experienced. The pictures that were shown was so much better compared to the actual rooms.
I got the skyline suite, and it was quite dirty - the bed sheet had stains, and when i asked the cleaning service to change it, it smelt weird after (like it wasn’t dried properly), but eventually it was alright after two changes. The walls are VERY thin - you can hear what the other people are talking from your own room. The people in the front desk were not helpful at all. Also, if your room key card (like any other hotel card keys) gets lost, they will charge you $100 each. They provide us with 1 adapter, but mine was spoiled, but they did not have another adapter to replace mine, so I had to purchase one, even though they mentioned that they will provide an adapter for each guest. The hotel themselves also thought that I “took” their remote control and had me (and the cleaning service) to look for the remote control for a solid 20 minutes, turns out it was under the bed. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Also, the room is very small.
