The hotel is in a great location for the MTR and also walking access to the harbour and the tourist attractions such as nathan road. The staff are friendly and the room was clean and well presented. The only point i would make is if you are a woman travelling alone - the hotel reception is on the first floor and you access the hotel on the ground floor and there is no security or locked doors in the entrance thus anyone can access the hotel and get to the outside of the rooms (Although the rooms has a locked door and a chain). I would say the hotel is good value for money and although slightly on the small side it doesn't matter as there is so much to do you will be out all the time!!

I stayed at ths hotel for 1 night, while on a business trip. Overall I rate this as very good, check in was smooth and trouble free, the gentleman on reception was very helpful and friendly. Reception is on the first floor and unless you have a room card you cannot get past the first floor in the lift. So I don't understand what the viewer was on about. I'm a lone female and I felt safe and happy in the hotel.
Check out wwas a little long as they had to check the room first, alsothe gentleman on reception wasn't very helpful/polite on checking out either.
Room was relatively small like a lot of hotel rooms in Hong Kong but it was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

I just want to highlight this hotel is excellent location. Directly to lift MTR Tsim Sha Tsui exit N3. Easily when I bring luggages.
I dont mind the space, I have experience worst hotel than this. Equipped with wifi, AC and cable tv is more than enough.
Just concern the security, since receptionist in 1st fl. So I feel unsafe until lift going up.
Until midnight near hotel still wakeup. You also may find McD 24H not far away.
Location also very near with shopping center
Two thumbs up for location.

The Good:
- Very convenient location with shelter all the way from MTR to doorstep of the hotel..
- Lots of food options in the area
- Airport bus (K5) pickup point is about 3min walk away
- Good & friendly service from the staff.. Able to speak English & Mandarin for those who don't speak Cantonese..

The Bad:
- Small room was expected as per the usual size of most hotels in HK, but was even smaller than expected.. I had the normal double bed room.. If u got big luggage bags, u wouldn't have place to walk about.. Recommend u to take the twin bed or deluxe rooms instead which was better
- Not enough electrical sockets (for the normal rooms) Not able to co-currently charge phone, laptop and watch TV the same time. There were more sockets in the deluxe room.

Hi, stayed here for 4 nights in June 2011. The hotel is a part of a larger building with just two rooms per floor. I would rate it about 1.5/2 star rating, the hotel has the check-in desk at First Floor and the place is a little cramped. If you are a single or max 2 people per room, the place seem to be ok, if you are a larger family - the rooms may be quite small.

We had booked the room through CTS for HK560, and the deal was good as the walk-in cost more. The hotel has not eateries, so no breakfast. Wifi internet is free, though they make u feel as if they are making a favour to give u the access. The only way to access the rooms are Lift, which is too slow during peak check-in/check-out times.

Eating joints are at close vicinity, bars, restaurants etcs are just walking distance. the best way to access the hotel is through Tsim Sha Tsui exit N2. It is right opposite to Hyatt Regency, we had walked to this location to take the free airport express shuttle.

The staff are just ok, We had problems with the air-condition not functioning for 2 nights, but there was not much the hotel did to resolve it.

Overall, stay here only for a good location and price. Else, nothing great!

Quite pleased with this hotel. After reading a number of reviews on other hotels, I was rather dubious about booking any hotel in Hong Kong. However I found access and check-in easy and straightforward, and the room was perfectly acceptable. Although not spacious, there was adequate room. The wifi and tv worked perfectly and although the room was only accessible by a single lift, I had no problems gaining fairly quick access.
The location of the hotel is excellent being only about 10 minutes walk from the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade. There is a railway station entrance directly in front of the hotel.

This is my second time staying at the hotel Chelsea. The location is very close to the beach I love their happy hour from 7 to 8! They offer beach towels and a airport shuttle. It's located in the Art Deco District and the ambience is super cute! Not to mention the excellent service from Niurka!! She made sure we had everything we needed and was super nice and had a pleasant demeanor. I will definitely come back to the hotel Chelsea When I visit Miami again! Very happy customer here!

I can't really say anything good about this hotel, other than it's cheap (660 HKD per night). We only stayed here one night. The room was small and dark, and the bathroom was equally small. The aircondition - which we couldn't turn off or adjust - was very cold and it was freezing to sleep in the room.

The hotel is very centrally located, which is about the only good thing to say about Chelsea Hotel.

Fine Hotel, great location and safe for all. I'm not sure what the last reviewer meant by Female security as you need a card to get past the check in desk on the first floor plus theirs security on duty at nightime. Nice hotel

Reception looks nice. We were told were in a “Deluxe Room” which I got excited about. However, when we walked in the smell of cigarettes from the air con was strong and it had ripped wallpaper and stained curtains. Air con has been off since. Not what I was hoping for for our honeymoon.
Only upsides are the nice view, gym, pool and breakfast. Shame about the room.
