Nestled in Beijing's bustling downtown diplomatic and commercial district, W Beijing Chang'an celebrates its vibrant surroundings, including Tiananmen Square, the eclectic Silk Market, and the impressive grounds of More the Forbidden City. W Beijing Chang'an consists of 349 stylish and spacious guestrooms and suites that align with the hotel's overall design concept. The Wonderful, Spectacular, and Cool Corner rooms, featuring the signature W bed and state-of-the art fittings, such as a Color Wheel light control, digital tablet that manipulates the room's lighting and mood, 48" LED TV, and Bluetooth JBL home theater system as well as Bose mini link portable speakers in the suites. Additionally, guest comfort is augmented with 4 distinctive bars and restaurants providing world class entertainment and dining experiences, a well-equipped fitness center and Away Spa, plus nearly 1,500 square meters of versatile, well-equipped space for high-energy meetings or spectacular event. Large rooms with bad tube in the middle of the room are really outstanding.

Lobby is styled fantastic . The DJ makes you feeling being in a club.

Gym (Fit) and pool (wet) are very spacey.

Nov. 2018. Last-minute SPG Rewards stay. SPG Gold privileges were enthusiastically recognized, and free breakfast was offered every day of the stay (including a breakfast to-go box waiting at the front desk for my early checkout). The W Hotel Chang'an has free secure on-site park

I know this question was answered two years back; but has the climate control issue been solved in recent months? I hear they the rooms tend to run warm during the night and that's a no go for me if that's the case.
Well, during my last stay in November the weather was around -6 degrees so no issues about warm temp inside the rooms.

Is this hotel close to shopping area, coffee shop , Restaurants? I am concern that it's in a remote area .
You need to cross a pedestrian bridge to the opposite site of the road towards the subway area and it is more lively there...

We have an upcoming stay of 5 nights, two rooms at the W. I am concerned about the various comments about he rooms being too hot. I am even more concern about the fact the person answering reviews won't give a straight answer as to what is wrong with the AC and what steps are planned to take. Can someone please address this issue and tackle it without vague answers? A hot room in May is not an option for us and I am on the verge of canceling my reservation and going to Park Hyatt. Straight answers anyone? Thank you kindly,
I don't know if you got your answer, but we had no problems with out ac, except it's in Celsius. Never had to adjust it. It was perfect once we walked in.

Is this hotel is neer to the china international exhibition? Or do you have shuttle bus?
"chose a high floor room facing the main road. The view is unblock."
"stay in the back to avoid busy main street noise"
"Rooms not facing the second ring road"
"Try to contact Martin"
"Rooms NOT near the elevator are quieter"
