We enjoyed so much our week in the hotel.. nothing wrong to say, everything was perfect. Special thanks to the staff, because of them the stay was even better. Thanks to Mahmoud who took good care of the rooms with personal little touches everyday, thanks to Makar at the breafast, Ahmed by the pool and Svetlana the guest relation supervisor for their kindness and professionalisim, service was really excellent everytime and everywhere. The bar Layali zaman by the Nile face to sunset was our favorite spot.. and again Ahmed and Islam were so kind and thoughtful.. we hope to come back again soon!! Manythanks to you all. The hotel has a gorgeous location right along the East bank of the Nile where you can even take a felucca (sailboat) trip directly from the property. The rooms, while not the most modern, have comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and were always clean. The balcony was also a great addition. Kids loved the pool area. There are some great local restaurants close by and it is walkable to the main corniche area near the Winter Palace and Luxor Temple or a very inexpensive Careem ride. Service was good (although a little slow at the Thai restaurant). Nice shisha area down by the Nile. We had a wonderful time!

This is by far one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The service is incredible, rooms are nice and spacious, restaurants on site are great. Located right on the river so the view is outstanding as well. Definitely a gem, will come again soon when I'm in Luxor.

We had an excellent stay, the hotel was clean and grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast at Nubia-the staff, service, and food were excellent. We actually arrived late to the restaurants breakfast buffet and the staff were kind enough to welcome us for breakfast

Myself and a friend stayed for three nights (half-board) in Room 512 (twin beds) in April 2024. Pros: -Security on door with bag scanner. -Free WiFi throughout hotel (login required). -Check-in 3pm onward. -Clean and well-maintained premises. -Spacious Lobby - ground floor. -Three lifts to all floors. -Room 512 (5th floor) - spacious, twin bed room. Two door cupboard with hanging area & hangars, electronic safe. Large mirror. Large luggage rack with drawers. Swivel chair and table with drawers. Lamp. Small wall-mounted Samsung TV (English language channels include BBC World News and Euronews) with USB and HDMI ports. Two upholstered chairs & round table. Kettle, coffee & tea, two complimentary bottles of water. Fridge. Two single beds with a bedside table & lamp. Air-con. Southwest-facing balcony, which catches the sun, with two chairs & table and “side view” of Nile river & West Bank and onto adjacent hotel balconies, and pool area. Beautiful sunsets. En suite bathroom with shower-bath with grab handle, toilet, sink, towels, shaver socket, hair dryer, mirror, telephone. Room service. -Breakfast (6:3 0-10:30am) - B1 floor - ‘Nubia Restaurant’ - indoor & outdoor seating - buffet self-service, hot food, cereals, yoghurts, breads, toaster. Tea & coffee served at table. Omelette chef. -Dinner (6-10:30pm) - ground floor - buffet unavailable during my stay, so permitted to use restaurants, open-air atrium seating: ‘Casa Di Napoli’ Italian restaurant and ‘El-Tarboush’ Lebanese restaurant. Alcohol available (chargeable). Live evening music (violinist and saxophonist) on stage in-front of a huge video screen. NB. Thai restaurant and other restaurants, there was an extra charge on our half-board deal. -‘Lounge Bar’ - overlooking the Nile. -Nasco Tours desk. -‘Layali Zaman’ - authentic Egyptian atmosphere by the Nile. Boat trips available from here as well such as across to West Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. -Souvenir and jewellery shops. -ATM cash machine. -Pool area (9am to sunset) - B1 floor. Towels by pool. Immediately adjacent to Nile river shoreline, as road located at front of hotel. Two pools (main pool and paddling pool) with plentiful summoners & parasols. Changing rooms. -Wonderful gardens with trees and flowering plants, which attracts birds. -Wellness spa - 6th floor. -Gym - 6th floor - Technogym equipment. -Checkout 12pm. Cons: -Room - a larger screen TV would be an improvement. -I don’t believe staff from the Bazaar or Spa should approach hotel guests about their facilities when they are trying to relax. -Hotel - smoking permitted in certain areas. Notes: -There’s a small convenience store adjacent to the hotel entrance selling soft drinks, water and a limited range of souvenirs. -In Luxor I visited Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Temple of Medinat Habu, Valley of the Artisans - Deir el-Medina, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak Temple, evening felucca trip on Nile river, Luxor Temple & Avenue of Sphinxes. -Uber not available in Luxor, so we used Careem app (payment by cash).

We had a delightful stay at Steigenberger Nile Palace Hotel while visiting Karnak, Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple & Luxor Museum. The hotel staff are polite & attentive, the rooms spacious & very comfortable. The view of the Nile & the West Bank from our balcony was particularly spectacular at sunset & we really enjoyed our 1-hour Felucca trip with Arafat. As we had booked a separate room for our teenage son, the hotel staff thoughtfully assigned him to the room directly across the corridor from us.

We had a wonderful time on the Nile Cruise it was a special celebration for us and everything was perfect from start to finish. Michael our tour guide looked after us amazingly we couldn’t have had anyone better. The private tour itineraries he took us on he always knew so much about everything and the areas . It’s certainly a trip to remember. .

Excellent hotel for a family stay with attentive service, great facilities, and amazing restaurants. We were particularly impressed with the very warm and professional service provided by Svetlana Z, the guest relations supervisor. The breakfast was varied and beautifully presented. Chef Yasmina at the omelet station produced mouth-watering egg dishes every morning. We also loved our dinner at the hotel's Lebanese restaurant El Tarboush where the chef Yehya R. delighted us with his delicious culinary creations and excellent service from his team. Finally, the pool cafe is also highly recommended - they organized for us a tasty lunch on very short notice on our last day when we had to leave. Overall, highly recommended!
