Spent 6 nights here last month and had a wonderful stay. This is a stunning hotel. A real oasis. We had a Regency suite, which had a separate living & dining area and powder room, as well as a little kitchenette. The only odd thing about the design there was that the powder room (which had a toilet) had a semi-transparent door and it was right in the living room, so you could see someone sitting on the toilet!
Apart from that though, it was lovely and clean - and great to have so much space. Our room overlooked the pool. Housekeeping was ok overall - we did have a few incidents of miscommunication when we came back in the evening and the room hadn't been made, but these were rectified.
Staff everywhere were excellent - everyone at breakfast (especially Mina, Ghada, Mohammed and Hassam), in the Regency Club and guest relations (Hisham, Sana, Merna, Nourhan and Kenzy), reception (Kerollos) and housekeeping/maintenance (Mahmoud). So many lovely people. They really made our stay extra special.
We enjoyed the evening snacks in the Regency Club too. And the buffet breakfast was so comprehensive. Wow, so many delicious options - bakery items, cereals, fruits, salads, hot foot (Western and Egyptian), sweets, eggs, various milks (including non-dairy options).. you name it. It was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy it.
We liked the location in that it was away from all the hustle and bustle of Cairo. Yes, you need to take transportation to all the sites, including the pyramids, but there are plenty of options. We chose to do private tours for all of that.
I would highly recommend staying at this property when visiting Cairo/Giza. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so wonderful.

Fantastic and newly updated hotel close to all the major sites of Cairo. We came here from another hotel nearby that we refused to stay in because it was in such a state of disrepair. The staff was amazing from the minute we got out of the car. The hotel rooms are stunning and the views are beautiful. It is one of the few hotels in the area where you could safely walk outside for fresh air in the area. There are several small fast food restaurants across the road from the hotel. The management staff of the hotel was always asking us about our stay and making sure we were comfortable. Cairo hotels have a lot of smoking. It is a part of the culture. While I was on a non-smoking floor, my room had some left over smells, probably from a previous person who had to smoke in the non-smoking room. The manager on staff (she was female and I wish I remembered her name but she was AMAZING!) had all of the linens and pillows in the room replaced and I never smelled anything again. A very impressive hotel and I highly recommend.

During my stay at the Hyatt, I became sick from something I ate during my trip and the staff was beyond accommodating and helpful! They found a pharmacy for me so that I could find the meds I needed and even patched the call through for me since I didn't have international data. The housekeeping staff was so amazing and they went out of their way to ask me how I was feeling. Also the highlight of my experience was one of the hotel directors named Normene. She personally checked on me to see if I was doing better and made sure that I had everything I needed for my recovery. She made me feel so at home although I was in a foreign country! Also I can't stop raving about the hotel and its amenities. Amazing large towels, the beds and the linens were so comfortable. Everything is modern, clean and top notch. I truly enjoyed my stay there and was sad to go. Next time I visit Cairo I will definitely stay at the Hyatt Regency West in Cairo!!

A very poor start when we shown to a double room after a very long journey, as we had ordered a twin - & confirmed by our travel agent. An espresso machine in our room - lovely ! But no pods. we asked, but were repeatedly told "not possible". It was also "not possible" to have more than one instant coffee sachet pe room for two people.
The location is in the middle of a building site & industrial estate. No chance of a nice stroll. All journey times quoted on the website are a joke - double would be more accurate.
Really no choice but to eat in the restaurant because of the location. Food was OK, but loud music made it a very unpleasant atmosphere.
I've saved the worst until last.
Bathroom was dreadful. No privacy, transparent toilet & shower doors. I do not want to see/hear/smell anyone else using the loo

This new hotel is a must! Every staff member provided excellent service for us. Especially Omar in the Club room provided excellent and professional service with high standards. Aly and Adel in the breakfast buffet also went beyond their duties. I was pampered by the pool by staff bringing me complimentary pizza, apple juice, cleaning my sunglasses, fruit kabobs and cold wet towels. I will definitely be back! Lots of safety measure taken for guests. Sniffing dogs for every vehicle entering and scanning machine

We stayed at the Hyatt regency west Cairo in early March, and were impressed by the high standards of cleanliness, safety and attentiveness of the staff. Very quiet, close to the sights in Giza, the restaurant and staff was wonderful. The breakfast bar included a falafel sesame patty that I highly recommend, an assortment of juices, teas and great coffee. We were pampered and spoiled here. The airline lost my husbands luggage, the managers took this matter up with the airlines when we were not getting a response even though it wasn’t their problem. I highly recommend a stay here and will return if I come back to Egypt.

I must say I was very impressed with the Hyatt Cairo West. I am an avid business traveller and the attention to detail at this property is simply world-class. Of course, I expected nice and modern facilities from a brand new hotel but it was the service that really stands out. Despite being still in soft opening, the level of service was superb with staff really going out of their way for me - starting with my check-in experience with Mr Rami (Front Desk Manager) to the daily breakfast where Mr. Mohammed (restaurant manager) ensured a consistent and pleasant experience. Also many thanks to Ms Passant (Gym coordinator) who helped me use the equipment safely and was always there to guide me as needed. Finally, I want to thank Mr Husam (Room Service) who took care of a minor mistake with dinner with the utmost level of professionalism and care.
All in all, I don't think it gets better than this when it comes to hotel service. Don't hesitate to stay at Hyatt Cairo West.

The location of the hotel is pretty clear with signs all over the roads nearby that made it very easy to reach. Rooms are really clean with a very nice modern vibe. The transparent toilet doors were a bit annoying though.
There was a bit of miscommunication on the day of arrival which was a turn off but to our surprise we received a call from Mrs. Nermin Awad the next morning trying her best to handle the problem exceptionally by inviting us to their Saturday Brunch, complimentary room decor and a birthday cake.
Food was really nice and the entire staff were very helpful, on top of my mind are Jimmy and Reham.

I spent a total of five nights with Hyatt Regency Cairo West and I definitely enjoyed my stay. First, the property is very new, having been in operation for less than one year. All recreational, relaxation as well as dining facilities are in perfect conditions. My room is spacious and cosy, giving me a feeling of warmth like coming back home. Thanks to the Globalists’ benefits under the World of Hyatt programme, I received a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite, from the window of which I could enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the Pyramids of Giza every morning. Second, I love its location. The property is situated in the new development area of the 6th of October City and away from the bustle and hustle of Cairo downtown. With the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road running right next, guests would however not feel isolated from all Cairo attractions (such as the Giza Pyramids, the Old Cairo Coptic area etc.) which are within reach by around 30 minutes of drive. The ambience surrounding the hotel resembles that of a resort where I could truly relax and rejuvenate. Throughout my stay with Hyatt Regency Cairo West, I could not hear any noise from car horns (which is typical of Cairo traffic) but only natural sounds like birds’ singing. The outdoor pool setting coupled with the greenery around made me feel like staying in the countryside. Third, the F&B team did a great job with an extensive option of food of mouthwatering quality available at the main restaurant “Park Food Hall” as well as the Regency Club Lounge. I was amazed by the freshness of squeezed-to-order strawberry and guava juices offered during breakfast which certainly made my day. Lastly and most importantly, all staff are extremely friendly, attentive, hospitable, responsive and professional. They are dedicated to serving with heart and utmost care. From the moment of stepping into this property, I received an overwhelmingly warm welcome from the Concierge and the Front Office team. All my amenities requests were set up in the room prior to my arrival. Everything was just perfectly arranged and well coordinated among the teams, for the purpose of ensuring my stay to be as enjoyable and amazing as possible. In particular I wish to extend my heartfelt compliments to a number of personnel who took good care of me during my stay with this property, including Ramy, Mohamed and Sandy of the Front Office, Peter and Merna of the Guest Relations as well as Hesham of the Regency Club. They, together with the rest of the teams, highly deserve motivation and support from the Hyatt management for their continuing service excellence. With no doubt I will revisit Hyatt Regency Cairo West should my future travel plans bring me back to Cairo. I also hope that Hyatt will further expand their presence in other areas Egypt through opening of more properties for the benefit of all World of Hyatt members.

Our group stayed for 4 days in this brand new hotel. Even though some staff had difficulties in speaking English, they were restless to make sure we were understood and satisfied, always with a smile on their faces. The gym has Technogym equipments, and the lounge-reception area is very well decorated, with a piano automatically playing in the afternoons. I ordered a soup for in-room dining, and it was delicious. The laundry service was also very good: I had some specific requests for washing and drying woollen clothing w/ some stains, and I received them perfectly cleaned. If you are visiting Giza and Saqqara, it is located in a very nice, beautiful and safe location (inside a condominium). They also have a Starbucks inside.

Had a room with a view of the pyramids but did not have a balcony. Not aware of any rooms with a balcony. Hotel is not within the city limits and will need a taxi or Uber.
There are more places to choose from in the Giza area.
