We were travelling with our 15 year old grandson so we were seeking connecting rooms. The Elite Pyramid surpassed my expectations. Our suite of rooms was 501. We had a heavy wooden, locking, door from the corridor; once inside that door we had a small private hallway with our 2 bedrooms opening into the hallway (each with separate locks which could be used or not) which connected to our large, well functioning bathroom. Both our king sized room and our grandson's twin room were spacious and well appointed with extra seating plus computer desk. This room arrangement is perfect for travelling with children/teens/even another couple.
The amazing breakfast room looking out onto the pyramids is just as depicted in the hotel description. There was always a table available when we wanted one, the breakfasts were delicious, and the service excellent. We did eat a dinner there as well when we were simply too tired after the day's excursions to go out & we each enjoyed our meal.
The staff at this hotel is extraordinary: Zico at the reception desk makes certain everything is running as it should and he is quick to arrange any special things you need inside and outside of the hotel. His charming, efficient, warmth is a pleasure to encounter. Hamed kept our rooms immaculate and cleaned them in a timely manner each day. Sam, in the restaurant, stands out for his personable service but everyone we encountered in the restaurant was efficient and warm, handling all of our requests in English.
There is a variety of restaurants within walking distance that we used several evenings, always feeling safe while walking in the dark.
TIP: make sure to ask for rooms in the original building - if it's this boutique feeling you are seeking

The hotel is well located and the restaurant offers panoramic views of the pyramids. The rooms have all the necessary comfort and the heated and covered pool is very pleasant after a day of visiting. The Egyptian breakfast is a plus but the wait is sometimes long for breakfast service. Very clean rooms, attentive staff.

Lovely hotel, very clean and really accommodating staff. Zico was such a great help to us trying to track down our lost luggage. The rooms are very spacious and there is an excellent restaurant on the top floor with incredible views of the pyramids. Breakfast was great with a really good selection. The only thing I will say is that it is quite a noisy location so take ear plugs for sleeping :-)

The main selling point of the hotel is the rooftop restaurant with a view across to the Pyramids. It’s great to look across at them while having breakfast, or having a drink at sunset or eating an evening meal when they’re floodlit (intermittently). Our room was spacious and comfortable on the floor just below the rooftop restaurant, although there are 3 separate sections of the hotel in other parts of the building that’s shared with other residents. The wall design with hieroglyphics was cool! The whole building shares a courtyard with a pool in the centre, which looks pretty but I was told it’s not for swimming! However, there is also an indoor pool on the ground floor, which was a pleasant temperature; it’s long and narrow with a shallow ramp in the middle to divide a shallower children’s end from the slightly deeper end. We walked to the Pyramids and over to the Sphinx, then back again. That was a memorable experience, returning down the backstreets where the horses and camels overnight and where their drivers live. We also managed to walk to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is basically impossible because of the wide busy road with a central barrier: we were helped across the road and barrier by some workmen, but it’s not to be recommended. Our room and beds were comfortable but it was very difficult to get the shower to flow with a steady temperature – it tended to be either boiling hot or cold and oscillated spontaneously between the two. There was evidence of flood damage in the room around the floor, perhaps from heavy rains? There are extensive road works in progress near the hotel and these make it difficult for drivers to find the way to the hotel: all the driving in Cairo was terrifying and some of the manoeuvres that the drivers made to reach the hotel were hair raising!

We booked the airport pick up from the hotel as we arrived late, quite a bit more expensive than with Uber, but nice to be greeted and taken straight to your hotel with no hassle. Although we arrived way gone midnight the friendly staff were up waiting for us to show us our room and present us with a complimentary drink on the roof terrace. Even though we were tired, especially our 10 year old, it was 100% worth it for the fabulous pyramid views. Our room, a twin with two double beds, was very clean and spacious with a large bathroom and all the amenities you needed including toiletries, bottle water, kettle and tea/coffee. We were the only ones at breakfast, served on the roof terrace as we had arranged a late starting tour, and everything we needed was brought to the table with a smile with a selection of both western and traditional foods including an omelette. We had a great stay here and everyone was super friendly. There is a pool but we didn't get time to use it unfortunately. Walking distance to the pyramids or a couple of minutes on a tour bus.

The name of the hotel is a very accurate description being a boutique hôtel. It is located in a condominium building with a section dedicated for their lobby, indoor pool and bedrooms. The hotel portion has been recently renovated and it is overall very clean.
The staff and very friendly and eager to please, especially Rawdanagy she was fantastic! As soon as you arrive they want to ensure you have all you would want to make your stay enjoyable.
Our room consisted of two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two double beds. There is a balcony off the primary bedroom overlooking to complex courtyard which has a swimming pool for the condominium owners (we did not see it used once).
The roof top terrace is located in another section of the building which also has bedrooms. The area is also nice, they have done a good job decorating and making a pleasant area to relax after a long day of sightseeing and shopping :-) They offer beer and wine, is should be known they need to get the wine elsewhere so you'll have a wait a few minutes.
The diner menu is outsourced so the wait can be as much as 1 hour. Breakfast consists of local breads, fruits, yogurt and local omelette.
The negative part of the hotel was that the shower did not drain properly so water would quickly spill over the edge and into the bathroom and go into the secondary drain.
As side information the airport is approximately 55 minutes away and I highly suggest you use Uber the cost is approximately 300 Egyptian pounds. There is a couple of convince stores walking distance if you want to stock up you mini fridge.

Location is great within walking distance of the pyramids and the view of them from the rooftop breakfast is unparalleled. Breakfast was traditional, and filling. We ordered food one evening and had to wait 90 minutes as the kitchen is not yet set up for cooking on site. Unfortunately the food that arrived wasn’t great, we didn’t eat it and the manager agreed not to charge us. Rooms were clean and good value. All staff were kind and helpful but particular mention to Sam and Mustafa

The most amazing little gem in a crazy city. You will not find a hotel in Cairo with better views of the pyramids than this. Cairo is such a crazy place, yet when you enter the hotel you feel at home, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the rooftop terrace is an amazing space to spend time. Breakfast is plentiful. They really don’t shout about this enough, but there is even a beautiful pool at the hotel!!! Honestly, this is such good value for money and if you are visiting the pyramids you have to stay here. Special thank you to Zico and Abdul for being so helpful during the stay.

This hotel is a small boutique hotel located on the top floor of the building with only 7 rooms. If you are a family looking to stay together, this is a really nice property. We have two kids and it is hard to find a room that accommodates 4 people in Egypt. This property has a family room (two separate rooms and a bathroom). You can see the pyramids from the rooms (not as good of a view as from the breakfast area). They offer free breakfast that is prepared for you on the roof top. The view of the pyramids from the breakfast is amazing! The location is fantastic since we didn’t have to deal with the horrible Cairo traffic. I highly recommend staying in Giza and not in Cairo. Zico contacted me as soon as I made the reservation to welcome me and help me with whatever questions I had. He noticed that I had two reservations 2+1 day (mixed through Booking and Expedia as we were originally going to stay by the airport the first night, but when I realized the severity of the traffic, decided to go straight to this hotel). He told me that hotel offers free airport transfer for 3 or more nights and that they want to extend that offer to us. It was so nice to have a driver pick us up and not have to worry about anything when we first got to Egypt. He offered tours as well, but they are quite expensive compared to what we found. Zico was so helpful with all of the suggestions and took great care of us while we stayed at this small hotel. I talked to him through WhatsApp. He even checked on us to see that we made it safe to our next location.

The hotel is very nice and is located near the Pyramids. Rooms are very wide and clean. During breakfast from the terrace you can see the majesty of the pyramids of Cheops and Kefren. The staff is very kind, they help you understand the lifestyle of Cairo (very different from westerners) and they suggest you the best solutions for trips and visits. Personally thanks to Zico and the lady at the reception. I recommend traveling with the name and address of the hotel written in Arabic, this is useful when communicating with taxi drivers. The breakfast is plentiful and the waiters are ready to bring extra coffee, water or falafel if you want.

It took us about 15-20 minutes to walk from Elite Pyramids Hotel to the ticket office for the Giza Plateau. It's not far away, but there is a big hill you have to climb. Reasonably fit people should be able to walk it without a problem.
There are more places to choose from in the Giza area.
