Conrad Seoul is celebrated for its comfortable and spacious rooms, equipped with modern amenities, despite occasional noise and service variability. Guests have called out the cleanliness of the hotel, which consistently meets five-star standards. The attentive and friendly service, especially the executive lounge staff, garners praise, although some guests suggest there's room to enhance service consistency.
While the hotel is seen to offer good value, a few travelers point out steep prices for certain services. The amenities, including diverse dining options and a well-equipped fitness center, earn rave reviews. Its prime location near shopping and scenic spots, along with a refined and welcoming atmosphere, adds to its charm for many visitors.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favourite
This year, I booked a long-awaited family trip back to the home country and beyond, and booked 3 rooms at the Conrad Seoul, for my family, my brother and his daughter, and my parents. I stayed for 4 days. and my brother and my parents 3 days. I was not very familiar with the Conrad brand at the time, having stayed at the Conrad Las Vegas briefly, although I would gain some familiarity with the brand by the end of my 22 day trip through Korea and Japan. In short, I was very impressed with the facilities and the service that Conrad offered, and among Conrad Seoul, Conrad Osaka, and Conrad Tokyo, Conrad Seoul acquitted itself very well and stood out on some aspects, while falling behind -- slightly -- on others.
I have to devote some time and give praise to the guest relation manager, Ms. Han Dahye. By the time our family of 4 literally crawled into the hotel lobby, tired and jetlagged from almost 18 hours of flight (14 trans-Pacific, and 3 and some change from Haneda to Incheon) and having been up in excess of 30 hours, we must have been some sight. Ms. Han took pity on us and expedited the early check-in at an unprecedented 10:30 in the morning. Frankly, I was not expecting that. I had hoped that we could leave the luggage and kill some time at the mall, or at best at the executive lounge until the room was ready. But we were in our room shortly after that, and were finally able to relax. She helpfully pointed out that we could possibly make the breakfast still, but by that time, we just wanted to rest. She also prepared a welcome package, and comped the executive lounge access to my 2 kids as well as the breakfast. Either she's really nice, or we presented an extraordinarily pitiful picture after our travel, or both.
The room was spacious and clean, and had a great view of the Han river and the Seoul Tower. Later in the day, we checked out the executive lounge, and the view was ever better and the service was impeccable. In three Conrad properties we stayed in this trip, the Conrad Seoul's EL was the best, in the term of food, service, and the view. It was an oasis of calm at the hotel that's known to get pretty busy, and did.
Another thing the Conrad Seoul did better than its sister properties in Osaka and Tokyo was the breakfast. It's served in the on-site restaurant Zest and has an unique layout. There are 2 corridors in a cross pattern, with 8 serving areas. It's a very efficient and convenient layout that leaves the bulk of the space for dining area, and the tables were spaced further apart than at other Conrads. One limitation is that after a certain point, the corridors can get quite crowded because everything is compressed into a small area, but that only became an issue maybe once or twice. Other than that, it's a design that allows for easy flow and access.
I was very satisfied with the quality and the quantity of the breakfast offerings. It had the traditional American breakfast and Korean, Chinese and Japanese cuisines. One slight knock was that compared to Conrad Osaka and Conrad Tokyo where they offer premium made-to-order items like lobster omelet and scrambled eggs with uni, Conrad Seoul was strictly a buffet. But Conrad Seoul more than made up for it with its wide breadth of the offerings, lending credence to the old adage that sometimes the quantity has a quality of its own.
We also tried the dinner buffet Saturday, and while I can only compare it to the seafood lunch buffet at Conrad Osaka, it was easily the better of the two. In fact, the food offering at Conrad Seoul was consistently superior to the other two Conrads. I can see why that many Koreans pick Conrad Seoul for their stay-cation.
Service-wise, it was excellent. It was attentive without being intrusive. But there was one issue. We had booked an additional night for our family, making our total stay to 4 nights, and since we were going to be out with our extended family for the most of the day, we arranged with the hotel to move our luggage from the room we had stayed in to that point to the next. My son elected to stay in the room and he was to follow the hotel staff to the next room. But when we returned from our outing later in the night, the move had not been done, and the hotel informed me that my son canceled the move. Which didn't seem right. My son is 13, and he does not have the authority to cancel the move, and moreover, he does not speak Korean and could not have told the staff as they claimed, that we were not moving rooms. My son also denied that the staff talked to him, and said that they knocked and peek in, and left without speaking to him. Misunderstanding can happen, but I was less than pleased with the hotel staff trying to package what could be a simple misunderstanding to something more than that, that my son proactively canceled the move that had the effect to removing the responsibility from them and onto my son.
I would have accepted a simple misunderstanding as the reason. But I would not accept someone trying to foist off the responsibility to a 13 year old. As is, it represented a minor inconvenience, but it did leave a bad taste. But in consideration of previous, and subsequent, excellent service I received at the hotel, I'm leaving a 5 star review.
All in all, the overall experience made me eager to return to Conrad Seoul for my next, as yet unscheduled but certain to happen, trip. True that the hotel is away from some of the more interesting places in Seoul and is not as "hopping" as the younger folks say, but to me, that's a desirable feature. And the convenient access to the Seoul subway makes going to the entertainment and cultural sites reasonably speedy. You do have to work with the commute traffic because Yeouido, a small island Conrad Seoul is on, is the financial center of Seoul and during the typical commute time, the subway is crowded with the office workers.
In Korea, they say 옥에도 티가 있다, which literally means that even a beautiful jade can have a flaw (an inclusion) and broadly means that no matter how wonderful something or someone is, they will have some flaws, with the implicit understanding that the flaws do not detract from the object or the person, and in fact, they are what makes them real and relatable. My experience with Conrad Seoul was exactly that. I would return gladly.

First time in Seoul for business (and a few days pleasure). The hotel was wonderful. Never stayed a Conrad before but the office I was visiting was in IFC attached to the hotel. There are some great coffee places in the Mall (throughout Seoul actually).
The location is not the most convenient if you are a tourist however there is a metro station near IFC.
The room was very large and clean. The mattress and sheets very comfortable. I've slept very well. The bathroom was large with a great bathtub and rain shower. Plus I loved the Japanese style toilet with inbuilt shower. The rooms are well insulated so there is little to no noise from neighbours or the hallway.
The room service was good quality as one night I had no inclination to go outside.
The breakfast has many options covering all tastes. It does get quite busy though especially on weekends. I was a bit surprised breakfast on weekends are not extended like in most other hotels. This gives people a chance to sleep in and not wait in line to get a table.
Since I had very little interaction with staff except when trying to get a taxi I can't comment but they seems very helpful. I'm looking forward to my next trip and replicating this most comfortable stay.

Our 3 night stay here in August, 2019 was quite enjoyable. As the shortest leg of a monthlong trip throughout the region, we were warmly welcomed and upgraded to a spotless Exec. King room , with a gorgeous view of the Han River.
The area just outside the property was undergoing extensive construction, roadwork (including most of the sidewalks) making exploring by foot a challenge. With the advice of the helpful staff, I was able to navigate the area and find a cute park to relax for a read.
The gym was excellent, but quite busy, even at 5am!
The Exec. Lounge was amazing, especially the extensive breakfast selections. The wonderful staff assisted me Gluten Free options, as I am Celiac.
The restaurant upstairs, 37 Grill was very good and also accommodating for special dietary requirements. I enjoyed dinner alone here one evening, as my husband attended business funtions, and was warmly welcomed and treated to a terrifuc meal. Thank you to the staff for their kindness.
My husband had stayed here just months earlier, and was excited to return with me to share our enjoyment...and we certainly did. Would love to return.

We were at Conrad Seoul for 4 nights and had the most wonderful stay. We booked through Amex’s FHR program and we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to an executive river view suite. The program also had additional perks including a $100USD credit to use within the hotel and late checkout which was very convenient for us. The room was clean, well stocked, and the view was one of the best in the city! The executive lounge had even better views and both the service and food/drink selections were varied and delicious. The service at this hotel was exceptional, to say the least. Housekeeping was in everyday and restocked our water and made the place so clean, and everyone we interacted with was very friendly and professional. Even when I informed staff of an odor coming from one of the sink drains and also that the scent of their toiletries was a bit too strong for me, they were so quick to address the issues and even provided me with a different set of toiletries that was more mild (but still lovely). They were courteous throughout and followed up to ensure our stay was up to standards. The location was also a bonus, being so centrally located and having access to the new underground walkway through IFC Mall which gets you to The Hyundai or Yeouido Station. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend Conrad Seoul!

+1
I stayed at Conrad for Business during the Covid period. It has been more than 2years since i travel and I've to say Conrad Seoul really make my stay an awesome one. Stay here for 5N and everything was perfect. Stay in the King Deluxe room, the room was spacious and the bathroom has dual sink, bathtub, separate shower and a toilet w door. The amenities was branded and well stocked.
They also have 2 international plug installed at the working desk and extra to loan at concierge, the blinds n lights are all automated n central control from a screen by the bedside which is one of the more intuitive one compared to the many hotel i visited.
What really make my stay here great was the housekeeping team that was so attentive to details. From rearranging my skincare orderly with a cloth below to keep it dry to add a cable tie to all my charging wire. These are the small details that i really appreciate. Kudos to the Housekeeping team who clean my room 3103 during my stay. I think you're a keeper to the group.
32F is the highest, i was staying at 31F but unfortunately facing the IFC so my day-screen needs to be down most of the time if not the office opp could look in. Do request for room facing the Han River, the view was great but ask for high floor as the noise fr the road are quite loud according to my colleague
If there is anything that is room for improvement are the bedsheet. I'm used to Teflon sheet which are cooling n soft. If the bedsheet can be of that material, my sleep would definitely be better. But of coz i do know this is my personal prefrence.
The hotel BF was also well stocked with good selection of local korean porridge, soup, condiments and also international food like big breakfast options, cereals, mushroom soups.
The hotel is just beside all the IFC 3 buildings and there is the Hyundai Shopping mall just opp. It is just a 5mins walk to the nearest Yeuiodo station exit. MOst of the Financial companies are also within walking distance.

Spending 700 dollars on a suit to stay over night, their breakfast was the worst ever in my years of staying at various hotels in the world and probably all great hotels in Seoul.
Rooms are spacious and clean, but the experience in the breakfast buffet was the worst ever. The manager escorting the seats for breakfast was frowning the whole time and the waitress forgot our coffees twice.
Their quality of food was terrible serving the low quality food with cheap ingredients. We could not find the food to eat and continuously consuming eggs.
I have been comming to Conrad over ten or more time within last 4-5 years and my family is not returning here. I hope this comment is helpful to you.

This is my first night at the hotel but I am so impressed at this hotel that far exceeded my expectation.
Definitely one of the best Conrad I have stayed at both in terms of hardware/room views and service.
Very thankful to the director of room Ms Dayane for having arrange such a beautiful high floor corner room with extremely impressive views of the hanggang river.
Most importantly though our email conversations, everything was well arranged upon arrival at the hotel. Extra toiletries, humidifier, nothing too difficult for the Conrad team to make us feel more comfortable during our stay.
Hotel has a very nice luxurious lobby and rooms are well designed. Smart room controls are by the bedside, as well as a very large sized smart TV for viewing pleasure. Definitely the best hair dryer in any hotel, dyson.
Staffs at the entrance are quick to attend to incoming taxi/car arrivals even late at night. (Ran towards my taxi to open the door)
Check in was a brisk and all hotel staffs spoke great english.
Executive lounge looks extremely gorgeous and friendly staff at the lounge as well.
With the convenience of transport in Seoul, there's no reason not to stay at Conrad Seoul. An absolute 7 stars for the hotel.
Will be my preferred choice whenever I return to Seoul.

Very disappointed to see Conrad water down the Executive Lounge benefit on my recent stay at the Conrad Seoul.
I was informed that due to many guests staying Saturday night, only I would only be allowed part of the time that evening in the Executive Lounge, 5pm-6pm versus the normal 5pm-7pm. Apparently Conrad had oversold their access to the Executive Lounge, probably as part of the room deals on their website where you can get lounge access with Diamond status (i.e., upgrade your room for Executive Lounge access).
The Executive Lounge when it opened at 5pm was extremely crowded with many right on top of each other in long lines waiting to get free food at the lounge buffet. This is not the type of experience I would have expected in the Executive Lounge at a Conrad hotel. If this is how Conrad plans to run this service when it’s busy, I will be staying elsewhere.

Conrad Seoul building looked impressive from outside next to many tall financial buildings by the river and the lobby and reception area were beautifully decorated. The receptionist was efficient and allowed us to check in early without any problems.
Unfortunately the lobby and common areas seemed to be much nicer than the room itself. Although Conrad Seoul is on a newer side, it does not seem to have been built with quality materials nor maintained well, and I found a lot of wear and tear in the room such as the desk and TV stand heavily worn, scratched and tilting to one side, shower floor not levelled properly and water leaking all over, and the handheld shower falling off its bracket. Honestly I have stayed in much older hotels that were immaculately maintained and I was surprised to see a newer hotel like Conrad Seoul with many signs of aging.
We were also disappointed with the housekeeping and the room was not cleaned well.
Breakfast buffet was very good and had a good variety of Korean, Chinese and Western cuisines. Their salad tower was large and had quality items and I also enjoyed their Korean dishes. Some of the pastries were not fresh and dry. Service was good and they offered small snacks for gold members daily. Fresh juices offered were also good. There was a wait on the weekends but you can choose to be seated in the smaller restaurant and we still found a plenty of options although it was much smaller than the main restaurant.
The location of the hotel was not ideal for a family looking to discover tourist attractions in Seoul. Most other guests seem to be on their business trips as this hotel is located in the centre of the financial district. Subway station was a good 15-20 minute walk. Although it was connected underground through IFC Mall, we found the walk longer than expected and most attractions were rather far from the location of the hotel.
Pool usage was complimentary for gold members but I did not use it as a purchase of swim cap was mandatory and sauna usage was not included. I know swim caps are mandatory in some hotels in Asian countries but I personally dislike using one and Hilton Gyeoungju didn’t have this rule.
Also with a purchase their spa service, you do not get a complimentary sauna usage either. I found quite strange, as I am used to using a sauna after a spa treatment.
I also booked this hotel as I read online that there was an airport limousine stop right outside of the hotel. Unfortunately I was told that the shuttle bus no longer stopped there and I had to reserve a taxi.

I enjoyed two perfect nights at Conrad Seoul. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was graciously upgraded to the Grand King Executive Suite, which happened to be a corner room offering spectacular views of the Han River and Seoul Tower.
Breakfast at Zest featured a wide variety of delicious options and was pleasantly uncrowded, contrary to some reviews I had read. I began my breakfast at 7:30.
The Executive Lounge, situated on the 37th floor, offered an impressive selection of alcoholic beverages, including white wine, red wine, sparkling wine, beer, and soft drinks. The food was consistently of high quality and promptly replenished when running low.
For HH Diamond members, there's a fantastic perk of complimentary access to the virtual golf experience for 40 minutes. You only need to bring your own gloves or purchase them on-site.
In conclusion, I am grateful for the wonderful time I had during my stay at this exceptional hotel.

I did not notice any fragrance. Maybe you can email the hotel in advance to make sure if you are allergic.
We did receive the Conrad bear and duck only after we asked for them for our 6 year old boy, unlike some other Conrad properties that had them ready in the room upon check in. But they do have them.
