Hotel is connected to Jamsil station. Clean and updated. Convenient for shopping and activities for kids. There’s adventure world, Charlotte theatre, malls etc, and a 7-11 at the 2nd floor that opens till late.
Concierge was very attentive and helpful. When asked for food recommendation, Edward was very detailed and gave very good recommendations and directions.
One plus point for the hotel is that there is an airport shuttle to Incheon and gimpo airport. Need to buy tickets in advance. To Incheon is 16000 won for adults and 10000 for child, gimpo is around half the price. Runs very frequently.

Lotte basically is the king in this area, hotel, theme park, departmental store and mall is all right next to each other. Don't confuse departmental store with the mall there are 2 separate location which you can walk from hotel. Room Interior is excellent, very clean and comfy, all tolietries are also of a high quality. Expensive hotel but worth it, and hotel guest have added benefits of getting theme park tickets at nearly 50% discount.

Really nice hotel. Breakfast is really good and room is large and comfortable
Location is great with good access to subway and shops etc
Does get pretty busy at weekends due to the entertainment complex.
My only real criticism is the lack of any light switches by the room door - very strange and means you have to leave the lights on all the time

This hotel is located in the Gangnam district of Seoul across the river from “downtown”. It’s an ok place to stay. Our room was clean, but we were told to go fetch our own room amenities from the gift shop if needed. The staff was generally polite, but certainly not warm. And the concierge staff was particularly unhelpful, either challenged by language barriers, or a general lack of enthusiasm to help first-time visitors to Seoul. “Here’s a map” with little else. There are pretty good restaurants nearby and the attraction Lotte Tower across the street has commanding views of Seoul on a nice day. The property seems better suited to Korean-speaking travelers and not foreign visitors (at least not English speaking ones). If you’re in Seoul on business and need a clean, quiet room close to the mass transit station but outside of the center of the city, it’s probably an ok choice. If you want to be closer to the tourist districts or if you’d like more attentive and warm service, I’d look elsewhere.

I visit Seoul yearly and Lotte Hotel World is one of best I've stayed so far.
Location: Great for cherry blossoms scenery with Lake View rooms and we managed to catch beautiful sunrise too. Although not near most tourist attractions, it's located above 2 subway stations & linked to Lotte malls.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service. Kudos to Front Desk Mr Duke Lee & Ms Hwang Yoonkyoung for being so patient and accomdating with my many requests as I was travelling with family of 13. I really appreciate the attentiveness of Mr Duke as he would approach me when he saw me walking towards the front desk to assist me and even asked how were the day trips we went for. I would also like to thank Ms Sharon Kim from Room Reservations for being so helpful and patient too!
Room: Well maintained & no complaints. Multi usb points means we don't have to fight to charge devices. Amenities like shampoo, conditioner and body wash smell nice! Only downside was toothbrush was chargable which we didn't expect. But it is part of the hotel's sustainability movement hence we respect that. We also had a room which was the Junior Suite. Spacious room with living room and dining area with basic kitchen. If utensils are provided, it would have been even more convenient as we bought some food back.
Breakfast: One of the widest selection I have seen. Pastry selection is good and the croissants were hot favourite of the family. The service team is also attentive and prompt. We were always greeted with warm welcome and smiles.
Overall: Thank you for making my family feel welcomed and we enjoyed our stay very much!

I have visited seoul twice a year for recruiting, Lotte hotel was my favourite place to stay. The lobby staff Sukwoo Song remembered us every time and give us detailed information as well as welcoming to come back to Lotte hotel. I would like to applause him for his great attitude. Room condition is not the best however location is very good as well as facilities. Hope to see him in next year. Stay safe and take care.

My family of 4 absolutely loved staying here! It was their first time visiting Seoul, and we were extremely pleased with the cleanliness, size and layout of the room, close proximity to food, shopping, and lotte world adventure! Fantastic hotel, excellent location from the Lotte World Tower and Lotte World Mall. Attentive staff which provided excellent customer service. Superb buffet breakfast which is actually served on the basement floor because the current one is being renovated but you would not be able to tell. Our room had a great view of the tower. Room is large, modernized.

Chose this hotel as I was planning to watch the fireworks from this area.
Lobby was luxurious and modern looking. Had a lovely view of Seoul Tower. Of which we could see the fireworks (but bit on the small side....)
Rooms were comfortable. Beds were firm but with a bounce. For me I like them hard / firm. But still good. Nice and warm especially in Dec where the temperature was around -5 at one point. Housekeeping fantastic!
The only thing that would give it a 5 star would be to upgrade the rooms. They were looking bit dated. Nonetheless u kind of grow into it after a night. We stayed for 4 nights and it felt cosy.
Great facilities around. with Malls and Metro. Best to head to the new Mall across the road. You can take the subway or cross at the road. This Mall has more facilities. Lots more F&B with a cinema, concert hall and aquarium. The Mall directly linked to the Hotel is smaller and the F&B closed at around 8.30 / 9.00pm...which was a shock to us. But the other newer Mall opens till at least 10pm.

I have stayed for 8 nights. The staffs are friendly and attentive the moment I step out from my taxi. A female staff also come to help us with the heavy luggage. The staff will attend to you most of the time if you need help. All staffs who I spoke to are able to speak and understand English. Room size is reasonable. The room keeping staff are friendly and they will always greet you with a smile. Location wise is good if you just want to do Mall shopping and Lotte theme park. If you want to go Myeongdong or Namdemun or Dongdaemun area most of the time. Then skip this hotel. You have to take train. Journey vary from 25mins to 40mins.. They have good offer for the Lotte Theme park. Ask them if you need to visit the theme park.
