28일부터 일박 지냈습니다. 외국인 여행객들이 위해 영어로도 납깁니다. 말그대로 도심속 힐링이였으며 지친 몸과 마음을 달래고 갑니다 :) 지금까지 20개국을 다녀봤지만 더글라스가 단언컨데 가장 편안한 호텔 이였습니다. 더글라스 아워때 술도 무제한 제공 받을 뿐더러 산책로 걸으면서 스트레스도 풀수 있었습니다. 즐거운 여행 되길 바라며 더글라스에서 깊은 추억 남기시길 바랍니다.
We have stayed 28th~ 29th (single night). Comments and review for the foreigner :) Literally you can heal your exaustesd body and mentality in this beautiful and nice place :) Ive visited 20s countries so far, among those countries, i can confidently say douglas house is the most cosy and beautiful place. Not only you can be served alchol without any charge in the mean time douglas hour but also can relieve your stress by walking along the mountain trails. This is my 2nd visit & it won’t be the last. I chose Douglas house for a few reasons: -personalized service & warm hospitality of Sunny Bang & his team which many 5 star hotels can’t match up to! Especially Sunny, who has out done himself every time. He’s everywhere, working hard to ensure all his guests’ needs were met & taken care of. Meticulous & ever so accommodating, he was the translator for me during the wine tasting session, got me a delightful little cake for my birthday & always checking up on my well being daily when I see him anywhere in the hotel areas! He is an outstanding hotel manager!! -maintainence of the property is just amazing, bravo to the cleaning crew for the excellent work in keeping the hotel spotless! -holistic activities & programs like yoga in the forest, cooking classes & more provided complimentary for guests.
I cannot wait to come back again not too far in the future. Well done Douglas House.

Walkerhill Douglas House was great! For my first time in Seoul, it was a little tricky because I think that the people who stay at Douglas House may be more locals coming for a staycation. So for a little bit, I did feel slightly out of place. But the staff's hospitality made up for it, and they were all welcoming and helpful. Douglas House is a little further away from the more touristy places, but they do have a shuttle that takes you right to the subway. The gym is in the main Walkerhill hotel, so you will have to either walk or take a shuttle to it. The rooms were immaculate and spacey! Douglas house was a perfect place to adjust to the time and acclimate to Korea. I will stay here again on my next trip to Seoul! 고맙습니다!

When taking a taxi, the taxi stops at the main grand walkerhill hotel. You can then choose the shuttle or walk 150m to Douglas House.
Staff was helpful to arrange for rides, so we didn’t get a chance to take the public transport out.

Needless to say, the Douglas bedding is really good :) I like the no-kids zone, and I also like the simple lounge + breakfast. I spent 1 night in Walkerhill Douglas house for a special moment after my wedding and it was the most amazing experience of my entire hotel life time.
After you did check-in to the hotel you can enjoy unlimited snack bar lounge with coffee from Paul Bassett. If you are coffee lover you will definitely enjoy it very much. Coffee was not provided with Capsule, it was literally from Paul Bassett and the machine also.
Anyway, the hotel Walkerhill Douglas house surrounded by mountains and it has also stunning river view so it gives perfect relaxing atmosphere. You can walk tracking trails beside hotel and also around other spots inside of hotel resort. The best thing was I could use pick-up service to go back to Douglas house with luxury sedan when I am exhausted by tracking and walking around resort area.
There is evening happy-hour time that you can enjoy variety of cheese, jamon, wines & cocktails. All the beverage and finger food was unlimited and you can even make your own To-Go box so that you can enjoy in your private room.
Douglas staff was so kind and thoughtful so I could feel that I am being taken care by the staffs from the moment that I am arrived in hotel. Everything was perfect.
If I use one sentence to describe the experience in this hotel. “It was little drops of heaven.”
If you guys traveling Seoul or spend few nights for special moments in Seoul. Douglas House should be on your list to make a choice for staying.
