Grand Mercure Hotel in Seoul has excellent hotel service. Areas where the services are excellent are services at the front desk, maid services, room services, fitness facility, staff at the front entrance to pickup your luggages. The staff here do their jobs well and in a very timely manner, making the hotel guests feel highly valued. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

I stayed here with lounge access room. Room was well organised, in the room you can find the kitchen and laundry equipments. As i stayed with my friend i was a bit worried because they only have a double bed room type but the bed was big enough for 2 people, i didn’t even notice that my friend is sleeping next to me. Happy hour was great too, i enjoyed food and drinks especially Guinness :)

Great place, super hospitality, very clean place, great front desk and housekeeping. I would especially thank lena lee in front desk and in regards of managing the house keeping Geum Sun Hong is a great person to speak to and she will handle all issues. The women called Choi lan ok is very peaceful and great with all people, she is very kind and used to clean our room every single day with a happy cheerful face. Thanks to all people here they made us feel like home. A special thanks to all front desk working, they served all our needs and in a very professional way.

Certainly one of the best hotels in Seoul. I’ve been using this hotel on a monthly basis for more than a year, and I found both quality of facilities and customer service were incomparable to any other upper scale hotels that I experienced so far. Free access to Executive Lounge as a Platinum member has also been a great addition when seeking for comfort and diverse refreshments during long stays.
I’m mostly thankful of Irene Gayun Jung who has been a wonderful host. She always welcomes with beautiful smile, and her energy, kindness and level of service are exceptional at anytime. She discreetly runs after me whenever I struggle to walk with two heavy luggage, and she is the one who brings me an umbrella when I’m waiting for a taxi under drizzle. Irene’s genuine care and concern are one of the reasons why I continue to choose to come to this hotel, and I wish my gratitude would be passed to her to acknowledge her excellence.

My family arrived in recently moved to Korea. Our transition stay was at the Mercure Grand Ambassador Hotel and residence for 2 months, so we had a chance to experience all the hotel has to offer. We dined at the resturant and ordered room service, we also used the pool and the parking. From the moment we set foot in the hotel the staff was wonderful helpful and always smiling and ready to help. Lauren Kim the sales manager was super helpful in extending our stay (3 times) and always asked if she could be of any help. The suite (2 bedroom) was spacious and had everything we could need during our stay. The room service staff were always accommodating with any additional amenities we needed. The bedding were very comfortable and it honestly felt like home. Thanks to all the staff for making our first stay in a new country memorable and joyful.

This is our second stay in the past year. The service is simply outstanding. It always feels like home.
Our son was unwell and vomited at 10pm. Housekeeping wasn’t available then. A hotel staff, Ms Anne Ji, came knocking on our door, with tissue, wet wipes and a trash bag in hand.
She clean the huge mess by hand with no gloves She wasn’t afraid to get dirty and cleaned up the room so throughly.
This is a 5-star establishment and the service is a true reflection of it.

Stayed here for almost 6 months with my young children and immensely enjoyed our time.
Service: mostly communicated with the Front Desk and Concierge Team who were all friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Had minor issues with Housekeeping, but they were always quickly resolved which is a great display of their attentive service. Overall, I would like to credit the Concierge Team (led by Mr. Jeff) who always went above and beyond to assist with my personal requests.
Location: Hotel is very conveniently. It is connected to the iPark Mall which has EMart (a large grocery store), food courts and restaurants, as well as a variety of stores. The hotel is also connected to the Yongsan Station. Less than a 10 walk.
Food: Tried the breakfast buffet, weekend specials, dinners at the Ala Maison and room service. Presentation and quality were always exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed dining here.
Amenities: Tried the pool and gym only. Both were very well maintained. Virtual golfing is available, but we didn’t try it. It seems quite popular, though. There is also the Sky Park at the rooftop which is a small open park. It is terrific for a read outside or to see the skyline and Han River. Many visitors take photos up here.
Thank you to Grand Mercure for our very memorable stay. We will visit you again when the opportunity presents itself. :) The children misses you and the amazing staff!

I stayed at this hotel in from 8 - 11 June and must say this was an exceptional experience. The booking process was very smooth from time of booking. The staff were excellent at arranging transfer between airport to the hotel. The meet and greet representative was waiting on arrival and quickly assisted us to get on our way to the hotel. The checkin staff were waiting for us on arrival and greeted us by name. The room I booked and received was the superior suite 1 bedroom with king bed. They thanked me for my loyalty as a diamond Accorplus member and gave a run through of all the amenities and benefits. They were excellent with assisting on taxi reservations while staying.
The Executive Floor Lounge was very nice and staff were welcoming and offered great service the entire time there. I enjoyed the breakfast, snacks and happy hour there all of which were excellent.
The A La Maison restaurant was another great place at the hotel which had excellent food and wine selection. The staff and service was excellent.
I managed to use the fitness centre daily which was massive and offered fitness equipment, interactive golfing, sauna, and spa which was a great way to workout and relax.
The location for this property was great being located next to the train station which easily offered ways to get around Seoul.
Overall an excellent stay with excellent service from the front desk team, Concierge, fitness team, room service and housekeeping. Emma and Erik from the front desk team did an excellent job of ensuring everything was executed perfectly from time of arrival to the airport until time of departure.
I highly recommend this hotel and personally will stay again when coming back to Korea.

While on work assignment we lived for nearly a year here. In short, this was every bit 5 star experience. The two bedroom suite room was spacious, well decorated, and had first class amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped for normal living. We loved the double refrigerator and freezer. The washer dryer combo was perfect for us.
We loved our friendly housekeeper who was always mindful of our interests. I cannot say enough about the concierge staff and the chief concierge. They were not only incredibly helpful with whatever we needed but made us feel at home. They went above and beyond many times to assist us or to just visit.
The Grand Mercure is very centrally located next to Yongsan station from where you literally can go anywhere in Seoul or grab the KTX to travel throughout Korea.
Shopping, emart and many restaurants are easily reached within 10 min walk.
Fitness Center is multi floors and better than most standalone fitness locations. It is a full service and staffed spa.
I simply cannot recall a single thing that we would improve. We will without question stay again

This is the finest hotel experience I have had after visiting between 30 to 40 nations around the world. Their 2 bedroom suite was not only spacious at an impressive 1100 square feet, but also tastefully decorated.
The staff were all fantastic. Joel went above and beyond and was so caring and concerned watching after my 91 year old father-in-law. He efficiently brought taxi cabs to our hotel in a very quick manner. He was always kind, courteous, and pleasant. He is a true and sincere professional.
