Super close to the airport (1 km).
Fee airport shuttle, nice big salt water pool, great WiFi.
For the price (34 usd) this is absolutely fine.
The hotel is old and not fancy at all. But if you just need to relax some hours or a night in connection with early flight I will fully recommend the hotel.

Our flight was cancelled and we were placed at this hotel for one night. It is located just 5 mins drive from the airport. The hotel is so very, very clean. Its spotless. Every morning, you can find the workers scrubbing the floor.
Staff : Very polite, friendly and helpful tho' they dont speak much of English.
Room : Spacious. Furniture/bedding looked a little old and run down. Wood-flooring was very clean. No tea-coffee facility. Empty mini bar is there.
Breakfast : We were only provided with western : ommelette, bread, butter, jam, toast and coffee. Didnt like the set up of the cafeteria, more like a hostel canteen. Should improve on this.

After reading the other mixed reviews I still decided to book this hotel because of my early flight on AirAsia next morning. I'm glad I did.

A lot may depend on which room you are allocated. Room (202 )upstairs in the main building was clean and large. The TV worked, although reception was rather snowy on some channels but I found that to be common in most of the Myanmar hotels I stayed in. The bed was kingsize and comfortable. The aircon was quiet and efficient. The plumbing all worked and hot water arrived much more quickly than my experience in other Myanmar hotels. Wifi was free but Myanmar-slow. My only complaint about the bathroom is the lack of a hot water tap in the sink and only one towel supplied per person with no hand or floor towels.

Reception staff were pleasant and helpful, as were the staff in the business centre when I needed printing for boarding passes.

Breakfast was the best cooked-to-order eggs I had on my trip with a wide range of Asian breakfast foods also available. While I was there several groups of Japanese golfers were using the hotel because of its proximity to the nearby golf course. My only annoyance was their bus arriving at 9:30 pm with the engine idling loudly outside the window for a while; a room further from reception may be better.

We stayed 4 days in this hotel. Punctual airport pick up, check-in, getting us to the room was perfect and smooth. Super friendly staff, amazingly kind owners. We got the colonial wing with a pool view on the second floor. Well kept rooms, quiet and clean. Quality mattress and pillows, soft bed linen.
Breakfast was fine with various dishes and fresh fruits. Meticulously maintained fresh seawater swimming pool, the pool staff tended to keep it clean, there was a smoothie bar by the pool. The owner has built a meditation center and we witnessed how the staff uses the meditation center daily, very impressive.
Just a 10 minutes walk to many restaurants if you do not want to eat at the hotel restaurant. We enjoyed the relaxing time of two days before we flew out of the country, to our amazement we were blessed with free of charge two total free days when the owner learned that we missed our flight. We have traveled to numerous countries this is the first time that an owner personally attended and showed kindness and hospitality of this caliber.

Would recommend this place to anyone who comes in or goes out of Yangon. Unforgettable experience of kindness from the management and a very professional friendly staff.
So many sitting areas under the trees by the pool and by the statue of Mother Mary. Well manicured lawn, I saw 100's of Koreans taking pictures as it was a beautiful location to take pictures!
We would visit this place again & again!

Just a kilometre or so from the International terminal, this hotel is set in pleasant grounds and has a large outdoor swimming pool. A modern five-story building, it is clean and spacious with fantastic large rooms, shops, a smart restaurant and excellent service from the staff. There is a courtesy car which can promptly take guests to the airport (and pick them up if pre-arranged). The room rates are fantastic value.

If you are looking a night stay for your transit, this is a good option as located 5 mins away from the airport. They provide you a free shuttle from and to the airport. A little pricy but with the location, clean room and the quietness, it is reasonable. There’s a restaurant within the hotel vicinity and the ATM machine at the hotel lobby. I wouldn’t mind to be back here again for my next long transit in Yangon. Worth to mention, the friendliness of the staff in the restaurant and the front desk.

I was quite surprised to find this Hotel, it is out of Town 5 minutes from Airport, very quiite, friendly service !

but if you are not used to Burmese customs, it might be boring for you, to have a same items of breakfast every morning, we were about 10 days there.. every day was the same !

But the owner walk around every day with unhappy face, never greets any of his Hotel guest !

any way I enjoyed staying there.. the room charges are between $ 60.00 - $70.00, it is little bit high for such a Hotel standard $ 50.00 would be reasonable!

We stayed here only because it is so close to the airport (you could probably walk it in 10 mi utes if you don't have luggage). It is a better than average airport hotel in that it does at least have a pool.
Rooms smelt a little damp and there were frequent power cuts. The room was large but the bathroom a bit basic.
Staff were helpful - bizarrely for an airport hotel the breakfast was not supposed to start until 7am but they offered to do us coffee and toast at 6.30am; as it was a large Thai tour group were staying and so there was a full oriental breakfast buffet at 6.30.
I wouldn't choose to stay here unless I had a very early flight (as we did) - rather motel-like and basic....

If you have early domestic flights to catch, this is the ideal hotel as it is VERY NEAR the airport. 5 Min and you can reach the airport.

However, that means it is some distance from the town.

The hotel is very relaxing and surrounded by trees. It looks like a resort.

Make sure the windows are closed properly, if not there will be a lot of mosquitoes!

Breakfast is very simple, some fried eggs, fried rices and so on.

In Feb 2012, the price is still quite cheap, about USD 32 per night. Not sure whether it has increased or not? Heard prices of other hotels in Yangon had increased > 100% in May and June 2012.

I was invited there by some friends for dinner. The food was great. The place is located very conveniently not too far from the airport. I also love the swimming pool there, perfect to release the pressure. I totally recommend, especially if you come for business and need fast and efficient service.

Myanmar Hotels in Central is very expensive, you can book a room from any OTA. If you need a cheaper price , you can stay at Myanmar life. It has a pool and breakfast buffet too. Cost at around 45 usd. But little bit far from centre of city.
