Verybeautiful apartments with a very nice view. We enjoyed having access to our own private swimming pool and the bathrooms were very nice. The rooms were consistently very nice and cool and the only possible criticism would be the lower maintenance of the gym and tennis court.

We stayed in a two level apartment with our own pool. The veiw from apartment was beautiful. Loved having the pool was in it everyday, pool clean balcony great. Yes a few things in apartment not working but don't spoil our stay. Bed comfortable, bathroom clean shower plus a bath tub. Breakfast down the road at Mangos was delicious staff friendly and helpful with booking day trips and buses to take you anywhere you needed to go

Wow! Simply superb accomodation.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 9 nights.
Very modern and comfortable. Having our own private plunge pool was wonderful. Then there was the larger infinity pool which was awesome overlooking the wonderful views of the lakes and mountains.
Having daily housekeeping was definitely useful, and the housekeepers were lovely and did a great job.
The beds were so comfortable. All bedrooms and living areas had wonderful views.
Vanuatu is such a wonderful island, and staying at The Terraces added to our amazing holiday.

We booked this room in may 2019 I explained it was my hubby birthday and we needed a quite room as we don't sleep well, I then emailed once again a few days before arrival to remind of quite room. We arrived and our room backed right on to the tennis court (couldn't of got closer unless you were playing) when we saw the room it over looked the swimming pool from holiday inn also entertainment area, the lady from reception was with us, so I mentioned it was very loud as the holiday inn had music playing, I told her I was concerned about the position she said we are not full if there is a problem maybe we can look at move, but she knew I wasn't happy with room and position. That night was so loud Saturday night music playing till gone 12pm the neibours running upstairs at 2 am then cleaners at 8 am. That was our first night. Veiws amazing rooms tired and dirty, people seemed happy booking just 3 nights I wish we would have of done this. We were here for 7 nights, we had 3 changes of neibours 2 of which were smokers we booked non smoking room. Work men dumped rubble daiky at tge end of the pool when we were trying to swim and relax. We did speak to reception. Last day we were in the middle of a few people in other rooms so was really loud, the hotel advised us not to be tg a bus to airport so booked us their taxi for 11am, 11.20 staff said taxi was busy so sending a bus but same price as taxi???? buses are so much cheaper. So we ended up going airport 30 min late on a bus for the price of a cab. Not impressed and will never stay again. If you are booking only stay 3 nights max.

We stayed long-term at The Terraces for 10 weeks as hubby was there for work in Port Vila. We found it perfect for our needs with a fully equipped kitchen and the resort facilities. It was very clean and quiet within the complex and has amazing staff.
You can hear the entertainment from below at another resort along with pool fun and games, but we never found that to be an issue. There is a lot of sound carried up the hill from across the lagoon where there are many different churches, largely preaching (different days of the week, not just Sunday), but we got used to this and it was always finished by around 9pm.
Room service from Mangoes Restaurant was wonderful.
The infinity pool at the top of the resort was great for a daily swim of laps for me and hubby got good use of the gym. Our plunge pool was well used by hubby after a gym session or a walk in the morning, but was too cold for me to take a dip.
Hilly surrounds made walking the 1km or so into Port Vila township a little uncomfortable in the heat, so we only did it once, other than for hubby's morning exercise walks. We had a hire car the whole time, so it didn't bother us much.
The views from both levels of the apartment were beautiful and we would happily stay there again. Magnificent sunrises.
There are easy gradient concrete steps throughout the complex and within the the one and two bedroom apartments so not easily accessible for wheelchairs. The studio apartments are on one level. Mangoes Resort next door, while also on the hillside has pathways throughout and single story accommodation if this is a consideration for your needs.

The stay was going very well until cyclones JUDY and Kévin arrived and the hotel managers couldn't manage it!!
No electricity, no running water the last 2 days, no breakfasts because logically no restaurant open... no clean towels but on the other hand when paying you must pay in full without any commercial gesture you are told that the breakfasts will be reimbursed but 4 months later still nothing and the worst is that you follow up by email by telephone and without response, even on social networks!!! 278,000 vatus for staying 7 days!!!

Only stayed one night, however room view was amazing and grounds of terrace boutique apartments were beautiful. Staff were friendly. Negatives, we arrived at reception and had to find a way to contact mangoes resort to check into the apartment. Room was a bare shell and missed the little things, such as nil shampoo/ conditioner and nil info about the amenities and things to do in the area. Walls were thin and could hear the people in the next room talking and tv was on all night. We went to mangoes for dinner and food and service was good. It appears mangoes hotel is the main operator and everything runs out of mangoes. We ended up checking out and paying through mangoes. Would stay at mangoes resort next time. The terrace boutique apartments we felt forgotten about. However staff were always friendly.

We had a great stay. A beautiful property set on a hill that provides you with amazing views and facilities. The staff were friendly and kind, so much so that we became friends. They looked after us and provided us with everything we needed to ensure we had a great stay. Would highly recommend.

I checked in The Terraces in late February - the height of the hot season.
However, due to their smart architecture, I almost didn't use their a/c.
The varandah has ridiculously beautiful views.
My only suggestion would be for an upgrade in their gym.

Before I booked I called the hotel directly and asked if they had a plungs pool with the studios. they said yes. They didnt when I arrived and couldnt upgrade to being sold out. I arranged a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We were alomoat the last passengers to leave the airport, because the deliver to so many hotels. A taxi would have been a better and cheaper option. I was dropped off and there were no staff at the hotel. I walked to the pool, chcked out the gym, and the tennis court and then went back to reception to find a cleaner who finally called someone. It turns out the hotel is managd by the Mangoes Hotel next door. I had to wait 20 mins to get checked in to a room that is nicey furnished but poorly soud proofed. I had two couples next to me. The first blasted rap music, and the second , a husband speaking louldy to his wife told her to keep shut about whatever she broke. nd I heard this over the TV. Upon arrival I wsa given a map to walk to town. The directions are terrible. There are nl street names, just lines and dots on a piece of paper. It took me over 2 hours to fid town, nd after an hour o walking back, i had to get a bus. The wifi is next to non existent. And despite they're info book there are no routers in the units. I had to buy a local wifi connection. Also no food is served here. You have to go next door to Mangoes, where by comparison everything is great. Dont book at Terraces, if you want this area go to Mangoes, but if you want to go to town, dont walk. I'm young enough to dealwith being lost, but I was exhausted by the end of wht should have been 20 mins, according to them them.

Hi there,
Unfortunately, the apartments do not have any washing machines. However, we do offer laundry services.
For what they are, I think so.
Modern, comfortable, great views, plunge pools are great if you get them.
The managers and staff, are friendly and helpful.
The arrangement with the restaurant works well.
Only downside of them, is they are a bit of a distance from town. But you can work around that.
I would walk in to town, spend the day doing what I wanted, grab stuff from the shops, and head back in a "bus".
I tend to use the place as my chill out after a long day.
I didn’t have the need.
But details on another travel booking web site state that no cots available (in the policy)
Good morning,
There is a restaurant at Mangoes Resort our sister property located next door to the Terraces where you can dine al la carte or order room service. It is also possible to walk into Port Vila township from The Terraces which takes approx. 10-15 min where there is a range of different restaurants.
If you have any additional questions please feel free to email us directly.
Personally Jun-Jul is good time to visit Vanuatu. Weather is not too hot and water is good for swimming.
