If this hotel was in the UK I would give it 1/5. For the same price I could find a much better room there. Pity Pros Comfortable clean bed Good security Close to central market and Lime Lounge, for much better food I was able to check in early. Possibly no worse than other budget options in Honiara Cons Damaged mosquito screening and louvred windows Ants in room WiFi barely worked. Only available sometimes near reception. Smell of cigarette smoke from guest smoking on next door veranda Room generally run down I had supper in the restaurant. It took one hour to cook a simple meal. I had gastroenteritis afterwards

This is a very well located property for short transits in Honiara - right near the Central Market and Market Street Cafe. etc Some of the rooms are excellent - the tiling is clean etc. The real problem is that the bathrooms let the rooms down. The bath tubs need replacing. The bathrooms are not clean and inviting places. yet the staff are very helpful and the outlook etc is fine

Coffee was great.Fish and chips at the Hograno Cafe is one my favorites because the fish are fresh from the Islands .Had lasagna for lunch which was also great. The staff there are very friendly and welcoming as guests enter the cafe.

We had an unplanned stay at the Rock Haven Inn when Cyclone Raquel prevented our flights to Isabel Province. The motel is centrally located and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is more in the Rest House market than other motels with a lot of Local clients They except VISA card but not MasterCard, with a surcharge for credit. Prices are comparable to Rest Houses with SBD$605 for an aircon double room and SBD$715 for an aircon family room with a double and single bed. The double rooms are older and a bit tired but adequate the family rooms are a good choice, both have their own toilets/ showers. The Inn includes the Hograno Café open Monday - Saturday with the best potato chips in Honiara.
