Recommend to sleep in hostel cx!! The staff is amazing and considerate clean and tidy rooms, they have a kitchen + breakfast that include the price and a fireplace of location. The beds are very good and comfortable.

Although the staff are very nice and helpful, better facilities can be had for the same money. The room we had did not have windows which wasn't very pleasant. The toilets were also very close to the dining area and the cubicles were only partitioned by flimsy plastic doors meaning that privacy is an issue. The breakfast is also not good. I would also recommend that people new to Bogotá stay in La Candelaria instead of Chapinero as there isn't as much to do in this area. All in all it was very clean and friendly but you can get better facilities in a busier area for the same money.

The rooms are comfy and people tend to be really nice, the staff were foreigners who decided to stay or who are gathering funds for their next travel which was nice. They have a well equipped kitchen and various dinner tables. The common room was also nice and comfy.

The location of the hostel is okay, it's not in the center, but it's not to far from it. The beds in the dorms are nice and have good mattresses and you can lock your bag in a drawer underneath. Take note that this hostel is in an old building. It looks great but on the other hand it is very noisy. The toilets and shower are nothing fancy. There is only one warm shower atm and except one you can't lock any of them, so you need to bring you own lock. Wifi is okay, but falls out a lot. The employees are very nice and helpful. I would give a higher score when the facilities were cleaner and better and if it was less noisy.

My trip to Bogota was a complete disaster is every way, except for this hostel. I was robbed twice and also had some serious medical problems. Gabriel went so above and beyond to help me make a police report, contact a doctor, and He even accompanied me to the grocery store when he wasn't working because I didn't feel all that safe going out alone after dark. My original plan had been to stay a few days, but I ended up coming back to bogota because my experience in this hostel was so nice. Hot showers and warm, comfy beds, good wifi connection and in a great location! I'm already planning my next trip back to Bogota and will be staying here again.
