This hotel has some great qualities: the staff (Alvaro and Luis) are amazing, super helpful and just generally warm and nice people; the location is great (at a walking distance of some important attractions, such as the Witches' Market, the Sagarnaga Street and the San Francisco Square); the rooftop where breakfast is seved is amazing (albeit a bit too clear in the morning), there is good hot water, decent internet (you have to re-log in every time you put your phone down, but it is ok and fast enough); towels, blankets and mattresses are nice. The breakfast, in my opinion, is 3 starts out of 5, because some of the bread is just bad, the fruit pieces are too small and there is no decent coffee (only instant coffee). Some rooms (we stayed in two different rooms) are stuffy. There is a laundry service for 14 bolivianos per kilo (not so cheap, but not expensive either). Overall, it is a nice place and we'd stay here again!

The location was good.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The shower was hot.
The front staff were friendly.
The front staff said breakfast would start at 7am, but when we went at 7am, nothing was ready and we really needed to go on a tour.
One night we came home late from our tour, and the hotel staff could not help us to order any food delivery, which I felt that they could have helped with because we don't understand spanish.
Unless you are lucky, expect a room with a window facing the corridor. Meaning that your curtains have to remain closed all the time. Not an issue for us because we were out of the rooms most of the time and only slept there but it would be an issue for those people facing daylight.

What a charming hotel on the corner near the little town. Walking distance to everything.
The breakfast was really good and the rooms nicely decorated.
Wifi good, free drinking water and a nice bar.
Nice hot water in the showers too.
All the rooms are on the ground floor so no need for elevators.
We stayed in room 104.
We walked to the local hot thermal baths.
very friendly staff.
Can also hire towels to take to the thermal baths.
Our room was noisy in the morning as our bathroom opened up onto the school yard so if you want to sleep late ask for a room far away from the school.
It didn't worry us as we were up early to explore

This is a funky hotel well located amid the main tourist attractions of La Paz, with easy walks to the witches market, the nearest cable car station, the main square, San Francisco Plaza, Jaen Street with its museums, etc.
The breakfast was good, with your choice of a hot egg dish plus fresh fruit and various breads.
Our only complaint was our room was an interior room, looking out onto the hallway and lacked fresh air. but this was minor, unavoidable given the design, and not all rooms had this problem.

Very central place, close to the charming witches market and artisan street, as well as saturday market in La Paz. The staff is very kind and helpful. Paola was extremely kind and helped me for a lot of additional services such as taxi transfers, souvenirs info, etc. Moreover, I was looking for an additional night in October, coming back to La Paz to leave from el Alto airport, however the hotel was full, so they monitored the situation to advise me as soon as a room was available again. Only the breakfast should be improved a little bit with more choice.

Meh! Another hotel that has rooms inside with no external windows. Our windows opened floor to ceiling but into the corridor so didn’t feel safe keeping them open at any time. Rooms smelled damp due to the drain vent in the bathroom. Close to witches market but no window and no air con wasn’t that great. Beds not to comfy either.

We arrived with a night bus at 7 am and our room wasn’t available until 2 pm. Luis at the reception was so nice to look for another room for us so we could check in right away, which we were really happy about. The room and bath room was clean. Breakfast was good.

We stayed here on 2 different occasions as our first hotel wasn't great.
The staff here were so lovely and booked us in straight away, the room was spotless and very comfortable.
For our second stay here we arrived on a night bus at 6.30am and Luis allowed us to check in early.
They have free coca tea in reception, room to store your luggage and a lovely rooftop restaurant.
The hotel is in a great location with an ATM right outside, would definitely recommend to stay.

Super hotel! Hoet Llois was very friendly. We arrived very early because of our nightbus, and Llois made it possible for us to check in early. Also, we could leave our backpwcks in the hotel when we went to another city for 3 days. The hotel is very clean and has nice breakfast and hot water shower. Highly reccomend!
