Decent Hotel in heart of La Paz tourist area , a few minutes walk from The Witches Market & many cafes & restaurants.
Helpful reception desk through which we booked a couple of outings.
Tea & coffee facilties in reception area , too.
Room was fairly small but adequate & comfortable with decent en suite bathroom. Lift to all floors.
During our visit the restaurant was shut for refurbishment so we had to use the hotel opposite , as arranged by Qantu - you just had to give your room number to access the buffet breakfast. Good views from the restaurant but the food was very average. Fruit looked tired & the bread was weird , to say the least being hard & brittle & the brown bread being imbued with a strange pinkish hue.
Things will probably improve when Qantu gets it's own restaurant back.
Unfortunately , our 3 nights were very noisy due to events in the street outside. Whether this is a regular weekend occurence I cannot say but if so it is a major downside to staying in this area , although not the hotels fault.

We requested an early check-in by email and received a response right away. This quick, courteous service was common during the 3 days we stayed. They went out of their way to help. I ended up with an injury from a biking excursion. I asked the front desk if the kitchen had ice. When she (I wish I remembered her name) discovered it did not, she went around to the surrounding businesses looking for ice. Coming up empty handed, she didn’t give up. She went to the kitchen and got frozen bananas out of their freezer. We were always greeted with a smile and they were so quick to offer advice and help. Roger at the front desk went above and beyond day and night. The suggestions and guidance we got made our trip so much easier. The rooms were a nice size, clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a breakfast in a restaurant on their top floor with a spectacular view of the city. This hotel is located in a very convenient place.

The hotel has a very convenient central location near the witches market, not far from San Francisco Plaza. My room was comfortable, a good size and had a great shower.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, but Lili is a superstar and made my stay so much better with her expert knowledge of the hotel, the city and the tours available and she is a lovely person too. Thank you Lili!

The hotel has a restaurant, but I only had breakfast there. Breakfast is quite basic but there is a nice view of the city from the restaurant.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

I arrived at 04:30 and the hotel was locked and gated. It looked like a storefront that was closed. Luckily I had pre-arranged a car service from the airport and my driver located a doorbell off to the right side (that didn’t have any signage-and the clerk came out right away). As a solo female traveler I would have felt panicky if I had been dropped off on the street with no one to help me at this location. I was part of an IntrepidTravel group and this hotel had been selected for us. When I got up to my room on the 3rd floor, the motion detector lights went off as I was still trying to unlock my door. The arrival process spooked me.

There is no sound proofing and there is a lot of street noise 24/7. I could hear conversations of people walking by on the street from the 3rd floor. At night I could hear another guest unlocking their door and it sounded like they were at my door though they were not. The room across the hall was vacant during my stay and the door was left wide open with the lights on the whole time.

My room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower and WiFi were good. The restaurant upstairs is attractive and has an amazing city view. I ordered a quesadilla and soup-both of which were very good. My favorite part about this stay was that the hotel has a water cooler in the lobby which is free for guests to use to fill up their water bottles.

Overall, I was unable to shake the feelings of low grade creepiness throughout my 24h ish hour stay and would not stay again.

If your intention is to spend a day of so in La Paz before heading elsewhere, this hotel is a good, affordable option. Located in the centre 5/10 mins walk from witches market, San Francisco church (the main tourist area) Checkin was quick and simple, staff friendly. Room was ok, my room had a window into the hotel, basic room but expect this as its in the city centre. Breakfast was also very basic and a bit disappointing. Finally disappointment was that I ordered a taxi the morning i was leaving and it arrived half an hour late which put a bit of pressure in getting flight so bear in mind if ordering.

This is such a great value. The rooms & the other areas are nice & well done. The beds are excellent & so are the bathrooms.

Besides being very nicely located the evening receptionist "Voncarlos" is such a great asset. He speaks excellent English & he goes the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable, welcome & able to enjoy La Paz quickly.

I would come back any time.

Lovely hotel with very welcoming, kind and helpful staff. I was unfortunately sick the entire time I stayed there but the staff were so kind, they even ran out to get me medicine and water, and also helped me with room service from the restaurant on my final night. The shower is amazing, really hot and powerful, and the room has a heater in it too which is such a rare find in South America!

We had the pleasure of spending three nights at hotel Qantu in La Paz. Hotel staff was nice and we could arrange with them on email to secure pickup from the airport. Arriving at the hotel in the middle of the night we were greeted by a very professional and nice staff member. Room was fairly good size and clean. indeed the whole hotel felt clean and as something the staff cared about. Breakfast was ok and here again friendly staff made good omelets for us suggested by themselves. However the really big difference was Lili in the reception. She was very very helpful and helped organising our whole journey on from La Paz. Even booked busses, sightseeing, taxis and all we needed. No doubt about my next stay in La Paz also will be at Qantu.

Absolute perfect experience. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast and dinners. Roger was extremely helpful in organising trips for us while we stayed in la Paz and speaks very good English, being able to offer us insight into what tourist attractions to do/see.

Very good clean quality room compared to many others I saw in the area. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were well furnished. The burger I had on the rooftop restaurant was surprisingly good too.
