Nestled in a coveted location, Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas garners applause for its serene and stylish ambiance, despite some remarks about the music being overly loud. The proximity to the beach and cultural hotspots like the Louvre makes it a favorite among travelers. While guests commend the attentive service, friendly staff, and pristine amenities including the beach and dining options, there are occasional mentions of slow service and unexpected charges that affect the perceived value. The spacious, well-appointed rooms with striking views stand out, although a few guests have pointed out inconsistencies in cleanliness and service.

The most beautiful hotel on Saadiyat Island in terms of building, as it is not as tall as the other hotels and has a super nice and wide beach.
The service on arrival was very accommodating. Since we arrived at 8am with 2 small children, we got a room directly and were allowed to attend breakfast. For us as a family, this “arriving” was perfect.
The service here is excellent in all areas. Whether at the reception, in the restaurant or by the pool. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeeping team gets a lot of praise!! What they do simply has to be appreciated. Twice a day they make up the entire room and you have the feeling of getting into a fresh bed every night.
At the pool the towels are carried to the lounger and you get a small cooler with water. The sunbeds and umbrellas are in great condition. The entire pool area, as well as the hotel staff are extremely well maintained! Lifeguards can be found at every pool! In addition to the large, heated main pool, there is also a children's pool, a baby pool and a small pool with slide. There is also a small playground between the children's pools.
In short, a super nice place to feel good!

However, what could be improved:
Suggested improvement:
-At breakfast, there is smoking on the terrace. Here you could possibly set up an extra area for smokers
-The kids club is hardly used due to separate costs. A more open use of the club would be nice here, as otherwise there is no possibility (playroom) for children.
-The offer for children at dinner in the main restaurant also leaves plenty of room for improvement. We're here for 7 days now and there were miniburgers and noodles every night.

A luxury hotel on Saadiyat Island! Never regretted the choice, although I read a lot of reviews before the trip. The beach is perfect- fine white sand, wooden comfortable sunbeds, lots of space, sea is turquoise, constantly sits a lifeguard, on the way to the beach they give out refrigerators with chilled water. Also by barcode you can order delivery of drinks directly to the sunbed, in general relax and think of nothing! Same by the pool - order to the table of any cocktails and snacks, the sunbeds are comfortable and there are many, the pool is chilled, not too deep, maximum 1.20. It is important that there are 5(!) rescuers sitting there constantly watching! I saw for myself, as soon as a couple of the kids swam to a deeper place, he immediately started whistling and asking them to come back. And on the beach and in the pool there is a separation of sunbeds - half with children and half of adults vacationing without children - this is also monitored and not allowed those who try to occupy the adult part. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, beautiful, the view from the balcony to the bay is chic! In the evening everything lights up beautifully, palm trees, swimming pool, cicadas rattling. The restaurant was visited only by Sim sim, because feeding the teenager is a problem, was not sure what to like in restaurants a la carte(we had a system hb), delicious and varied breakfast -dinners, there is always a choice, three times a week themed evenings are held - sea, Asian, Arabic, there is an opportunity to taste the cuisines of the world. The staff are super friendly! From the moment of check-in to check-out help, prompt if anyone does not know English - many Russian speakers at the reception (Nurlan, Ani, Alfia❤️), explain everything, any request try to comply. The room has everything- bathrobes, slippers, towels, razor kit, toothbrushes and paste, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, washcloth, body lotion (in general do not need to bring a bunch of everything with you), hairdryer is chic and powerful (not as usual in hotels working a couple of minutes)), as well as stands capsule coffee machine, constantly replenished supplies of tea, coffee, water. Free shuttles to the Louvre, Yas malla, Ferrari Park, Oceanarium. A very beautiful green area with a fountain, a nice walk, there are tennis courts, a mini-football course, a mini-golf course, a wonderful gym- was pleased by the availability of fruit water and physicists, figs and a curage for snacking. I can list the pros for a long time, admire them, but it's better to try and see for myself! I wish the hotel well!

We rested in this wonderful hotel from 11.05 to 17.05. This is simply the best hotel, the best staff, the best beach! This is not the first time we have vacationed in the UAE, we have been in different hotels, there is something to compare with. There are no queues at check-in, there are many managers, but our Murad is the best, special thanks to him! He was extremely attentive, took into account all our wishes, helped in all matters relating to our stay at the hotel and more. Speaks Russian perfectly. Murad, thank you for the wonderful room❤️I would like to express my gratitude to all the hotel staff, every employee is in his place, before you have time to think, everything has already been done. The hotel itself is very beautiful, stylish, very well thought out, when fully occupied, no one disturbs anyone, there are always places near the pool and on the beach. We can talk endlessly about the beauty of the beach... the color of the water is turquoise, the sand is not dusty and fine. The beach is cleaned in the morning and the sand is sifted. We vacationed with a 5-year-old child, mainly on the beach, we didn’t have time to visit the children’s club, next time we’ll definitely go. We had enough food. We went to the Sim-Sim restaurant, the breakfasts were simply delicious, there was everything in the world, red fish, cheeses, fresh fruits and yoghurts, greens and 50 egg dishes, pastries and even coffee with different milks! Our food was NV, from breakfast to dinner we didn’t even have time to get hungry. At dinner there is a children's table, children's dishes and cutlery. The children's menu includes pasta, nuggets, burger patties that you can assemble yourself, and children's desserts, which was enough to feed my son. We adults also had enough of everything; we didn’t leave hungry. The main thing is that everything is delicious. Everything in the room is designed for comfort; you don’t need to get up to turn anything on or off. Such cool and comfortable beds, you won’t have time to count to 10 and you’ll fall asleep. Everything works, the coffee is delicious)) the cosmetics in the room are gorgeous! Thank you very much for our wonderful vacation, I have never written reviews, but I wanted to write about you. Many thanks to your entire team, we will definitely come back again.

Overall, a nice, well-maintained hotel complex; unfortunately, our stay was spoiled by the poor/uncoordinated organization.
As I was traveling with my adult son, I had booked a standard room with 2 single beds. When we checked in, we were told that this was not available due to the high occupancy of the hotel. We could either get a standard room with a double bed or a room with 2 single beds on a higher floor with a sea view, for which I had to pay an additional fee of around €430. Unfortunately, there was no other option. So we were forced to pay the extra charge.

We had also booked all-inclusive. On arrival, we were told that we had only booked half board. Only after insisting was this checked and the error admitted. Unfortunately, this impression continued throughout our stay.

The reservation of the à la carte restaurants via reception often did not work. The promised confirmation simply did not arrive. The service in the restaurants was very different (excellent in Turtle Bay, but in Si Restaurant and Sim Sim it really depended on the waiter).

It was also a coincidence which services you got for the all-inclusive meal. We ate at the beach bar three times for lunch and each time we got a different menu. The same thing happened on the beach: there, on one day, different employees gave us three different pieces of information about what we could and couldn't order as part of the all-inclusive. In the long run, it was really tiring and exhausting to ask and discuss things every time. We were even told by the employees that they didn't have any precise information about which services were included in the different meal options and that they were used in different bars/restaurants every day, so no one really knew what was going on. However, every single employee was helpful and friendly, it was just that the "big picture" didn't work.

After a complaint, we were given a beach cabana on the beach for a few days. When I asked at reception what drinks/meals I could order from there, 2 employees told me that I must have confused the hotel, as there were no beach cabanas in this hotel. That was absolutely ridiculous!! Maybe the employees should explore the hotel themselves!! I'm uploading photos of the non-existent cabanas.

Our room was very spacious and was cleaned perfectly, although unfortunately usually only in the afternoon around 4 p.m.

Beautiful beach, great warm sea

Orders on the beach are only possible via a QR code, so you have to rely on your cell phone and working WiFi. It didn't work for us most of the time.

Unfortunately, there is no alternative to the Sim Sim buffet restaurant for breakfast. The atmosphere there reminded us a lot of a train station hall. It was extremely crowded and loud, we didn't like it.

The same applies to the pool, especially on weekends with the many day guests.

There is a large construction site next to the hotel, which means there is a lot of noise pollution, especially on the beach.

We are currently vacationing in this hotel. Instead of a welcoming and comfortable stay, we were faced with a number of shortcomings that simply could not be ignored.

The first thing that disappointed us was the tasteless cuisine in paid restaurants and the Sim Sim restaurant (buffet). It’s unexpected that when you pay a high price for food, they bring you dishes that are not at all tasty. The food does not correspond to the price level at all. The selection of cocktails is very limited, the wine is very inexpensive and there are only three types. No fruits or vegetables. In our far north they taste better. Fresh juices are not fresh juices at all, but packaged juices. True, breakfasts include eggs Benedict and delicious coffee with coconut milk.

The second drawback is that the beach is closed after sunset. A stay at a hotel comes with the opportunity to enjoy the coast at any time of the day. Moreover, the only advantage of this hotel is its location on the seashore and the beach itself.

The area between the beach and the hotel leaves much to be desired. It is unkempt and unkempt, with some bushes, which has a negative impact on the overall impression of the hotel.

In addition, low-quality cosmetics in the bathroom, which do not at all correspond to the 5* level. It was necessary to ask for additional sets of toothbrushes. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are nailed to the wall. The conditioner separates when applied to the hair. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this level.

Late room cleaning also left much to be desired. The staff did not have time to complete their work before lunch.

In the evening the hotel is a bit boring - due to the lack of evening performances, except for music at the bar. There are no sea and water activities either. Or maybe there is, but no one told us about it. There are some SUPs and kayaks lying around on the beach, how to take them is a big question.

But that's not all! Lots of flies in restaurants, and stale room stock to boot.

Overall, our stay at this hotel did not live up to expectations. We hope that your comments will be taken into account to ensure quality service and guest satisfaction in the future.

Like people say: “every coin has two sides”… we are at the moment at the hotel, room no. 231. (8-night vacation).
No doubt I could dwell on a great cuisine at all restaurants, a beautiful beach with clear sand and lots of sun-beds and a huge swimming pool with cool water and a great service of providing guests with beach towels and boxes with a plenty bottles of still water, but:
1. Barkeeps at the pool bar are always forgetting the orders. You have to remind them several times in case you need a cup of coffee (f.e. Barkeeper Nyz). Or you will wait for your change till you get old.
2. The main restaurant Sim-Sim. The same case as mentioned above: sometimes you just don’t get the beverages during your meal and get the order by the time of dessert.
3. The conference. Of course, the Sephora conference is a meeting demanding huge amounts of attention from the hotel service, but aren’t the guests staying at the hotel for more than a week less important? It wasn’t possible to get an indoor table in the morning, although the dinner was served for the conference separately the night before, the breakfast was at the same time in the main restaurant
and it was overcrowded…
4. It has been already mentioned in reviews of other guests, but I won’t be original: the Room-cleaning services are surprisingly relaxed. The room was cleaned during our absence only once. Other days it didn’t matter if the sign “make up the room” was on or off, the result was always the same:(((. I should mention, that we are staying in the room only for two hours in the afternoon during the heatwave. Usually the door bell rang before dinner. Although for the guests it would be more convenient to get fresh towels by the lunch time.

I’d like to highlight girls from animation team. There are only two of them, but they do really everything they can to involve people into activities and are always friendly and positive!

Just got back from the Saadiyat Rotana Hotel. We've been to the UAE many times, Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island were the first. Everything is designed to make the guest feel as comfortable as possible. Excellent hotel, chic sea, quality service at the highest level. Have a wonderful holiday with your family. We arrived at the hotel late at night, we were met at the reception by a young man Nurlan and a girl from Kazakhstan forgot her name unfortunately. In my opinion, these are very valuable employees, everything was resolved very quickly and everything was in our favor. They gave me a fancy number. If you want to rest comfortably, this is where you want to rest. Well, in order ))
1. Very friendly, responsive staff, always asked if everything is okay, always smiley 🥰
2. Cleaning twice a day. Very clean, daily room cleaning, complete change of linen and towels, very comfortable beds, coffee machine, lovely bathroom.
3. Restaurants have really good food. Swedish Sim-sim is a great breakfast. Of the restaurants we liked Turtle Bay and Si very delicious food 😋beautiful serving 😍
4. Luxurious beach 🏝️ made of white sand and the azure sea 🌊 Always clean, free sun loungers. The towels are clean. Water is given to ice containers, even sun cream can be taken. Forgot their belongings on the beach once, returned them safely.
5. Pool one big. Every day they chlorinate in the evening.
6. There's a kids club. You can keep the kids. A lot of age-related classes. Games pool , even at sea children are brought out.

Gorgeous structure. Too bad we only stayed 2 nights. Family of 4. Two rooms divided but still joined through a small gallery with the possibility of closing a door and leaving the bedroom doors open, convenient for those with children. The rooms are large and new, the bathroom is fantastic: separate bath, shower and toilet. All very functional and very clean. Fantastic structure, precious marbles, obsessive cleanliness. Equipped with a swimming pool with sunbeds, a bar also communicating with those in the pool, bar and restaurant service at all hours and with service directly from the sunbeds. Private beach. Free delivery service for beach towels and a fridge with fresh water, always available. Really good restaurants, internal bar also selling delicious desserts. Convenient structure for the city, cheap taxis... I left my heart there!!! to return soon!

We vacation in the UAE periodically; I wanted a relaxing holiday. Last time in Dubai, my entire vacation was spent in traffic jams. The hotel met all expectations. Check-in at 5, cleaning twice a day, everything is clean, the territory is beautiful and well-groomed. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and varied, very good choice. The waiters are all polite and respond quickly to everything. We took HB meals, which was more than enough for us; lunch would have been superfluous. Drinks tea, coffee, water are included for dinner. We visited two restaurants, I really liked Turtle Bay, the menu is varied, everything is very tasty, there is a Russian-speaking waiter. We visited an Italian restaurant, very beautiful, drinks are also included in the restaurants. The beach is very beautiful, large, and it’s a pleasure to walk along it. Probably 70% of the sunbeds were all free. On the beach there is a menu according to the quar code; you can order drinks and snacks, and they will bring you straight to your sunbed. Alcoholic cocktails average 40-50 dirhams, the most expensive in coconut is 70 dirhams, salad is 100 dirhams, a burger is also about 100. There is a small promenade if you leave the hotel and turn left. Very quiet and peaceful around. Yes, there is a construction site on the side, but we didn’t pay attention. There is a free shuttle to the Gallery Mall, it runs 3 times a day, you can get there and walk both in the Mall and along the street, everything is well-groomed and beautiful. From the Gallery you can walk to the Abu Dhabi Mall, 15 minutes.
I think we will definitely come back again.

Relaxed for 11 days in a hotel with a family and a child. Populated quickly. The room gave a good one with direct sea view and side sea view/direct pool view . Room service is excellent in quality, but ! Cleaned up either in the quiet hour or after 20 . It's a strange time to clean up, knowing we have a baby who wants to sleep at lunch and in the evening early. Only 2 times the room was cleaned before 1 p.m. Didn't replenish the coffee supply in the room often.
On food: we had everything on. On the first evening we went to sim - sim and got to the "Arab evening " and it was a horror for us personally (maybe someone was thrilled ) all looking like a squishy / smear , everything sharp enough that literally everything spat out in a napkin and left hungry .
By fruit : there is a total of zero , a couple of species of melons (green and yellow ) and watermelon was rare , all very scarce . There were a lot of sweets, but I didn't eat them. So we went to lunch and in the evening alternated between Italian and turtle. There was one American pub.
It all eats fast, hungry of course we didn't go... but remembered the excellent nutrition in Turkey with breath.
The waiters in the restaurants are polite and helpful , I will highlight Gagania in the Italian restaurant we have always been served , very nice girl .
All the hotel staff at the sight of us always smiled , said hello with asking how it is and it is 100 times a day , it is of course good , but then bores .
Sea and beach : sea of extraordinary color , very warm , morning low tide . A couple of days there were small waves. The beach is great, deckchairs are always available. Give out water in a container and towels .
The pool is cooled , shallow depth . But there's a downside - it's no shadow. Make tents on at least part of the pool . It's weird you're up to your waist in freezing water, in the hot sun.
The pool bar was free to us. But! It's the same horror of always saying your room number, the staff asked a hundred times, spent in their computer and then after a while gave a cocktail or ice cream. It took a lot of time and always made me angry.
Also of the cons - it is no dryers on the balcony, had to hang everything on chairs.
So the overall impression is good. Thank you for our vacation.
