Me and my husband have been to many hotels in Doha to explore and kind of live the experience and Sharq Village and Spa is by far the best that we have stayed in so far. BUT!! I would like to share what we have experienced in the property. Me and my husband are a couple in our late twenties and the following points are what we had observed: 1- Guest relations agent had called me after my request of decorating the room since we are celebrating our anniversary, and she said that the hotel cannot offer any decorations at the moment, which was kind of weird to me. one of the best 5 star hotels in Doha cannot decorate a room for an anniversary occasion? even if it was a towel arrangement or fake flowers kind of thing? even though the entrance fountain was full of flowers? there was nothing in the room that was personalized or been taken care off according to our request.
2- I have asked that same lady at guest relations for a nice/nicer breakfast since we are travel bloggers and I wanted to take a nice IG picture on the terrace with the seaview in the background, but again, my request was not fulfilled and I had a very STANDARD breakfast that barely had fried eggs and a bread basket, which is not up to rate. 3- Lastly, if I was part of the management in that hotel, I would have recommend to do something that kind of relates positively to this whole coronavirus pandemic. For example, I would have asked employees at the front office to offer hand sanitizer specially after using pens to sign, or offer PPE to be placed in the room since now its the trend of the season. Anything to make the guest comfortable and feel safe specially with the hotels industry's crashing down, I would've done my best to make my guest feel that I care about their safety , an employee that is wearing a mask is not enough to make me feel safe.
I am only saying this because I work in a 5star hotel property and I am aware that the hotel could've done better! but still, the interior and the calmness that you get in this place is not beatable. Thank you for having us!

Fantastic check-in, friendly and fast which is extremely important at 2 something a.m. after a long trip. Very comfortable and spacious room, bathroom nicely decorated in line with the Arabic design. My only gripe is with the shower. I really hate that often in hotels you find models that would need a manual to figure out. In this case (a Kohler model) temperature and on/off were on the same handle with nearly ineligible markings. A better quality hairdryer would also not be amiss (very often even luxury hotels place super cheap hairdryers in their bathrooms and I will keep pointing it out as to me it shows inconsistency). TV had limited international language stations. Another example of excellent service: laundry was picked up less than five minutes after I called. Even more impressive considering this is a wide-spread complex. Had lunch in the buffet restaurant, very nice food and again great service. I just wanted a salad (dinner event later) and as no other restaurant was open at the time the manager offered to get one from the buffet at a reduced price. Nice little gym for ladies (which means you can use it freely, instead of being limited to ladies‘ only timings). The hotel has a bit of a resort feel and a large pool, so depending on where you need to go in Doha it’s a great option.

Great location!!! I really enjoyed my stay here. We stayed at Sharq Village as a group of 6 families for 2 nights. Our stay was nothing short of total bliss and joy, which was much needed after not being able to go anywhere due to COVID induced travel restrictions.
Alba from Sharq's guest relations took care of all booking related logistics, from making numerous changes to the booking to offering us a great rooms in a villa (Villa 5) right in front of the beach, and not to the mention the absolutely fantastic room rates for Qatar Foundation employees!
All other hotel staff, including Shahadat from Housekeeping, Qayyum and Samia from the breakfast team and and Guaresh, the manager of Al Liwan restaurant went the extra mile to really take care of us and ensure an very pleasant stay at Sharq.
Yes, we did have a minor issue with some guests complaining about us making noise at 3 pm! But the hotel management took care of that without any unnecessary fuss.
We will definitely go back!

I'd like to take a moment to highlight the outstanding performance of one of your team members. After my 3rd visit to pool/beach area, I have noticed how Mr.Shojib is such a helpful and willing staff. He was attending me and my friend every time we needed something. He helped us find a nice place to catch sun shades, and he fetched us another sun bed as it was missing from that place. Mr.Shojib made sure to provide us with a good stay area. He assisted us with every thing we asked for; like extra towels, water, called the waiter for us so our menu preference doesn't take long to be taken. And very remarkable, he has a genuine smile and shows so much will to do his job which is something very important in customer service domain. Mr.Shojib is really worth appreciation, I wish him all the best.

We celebrated our daughters birthday Oct 2, we had a memorable experience and enjoyed the pool and beach as well as the beautiful spacious Deluxe room. The staff are very courteous and provided good service. The breakfast buffet was made special with interesting varieties. My daughter was surprised by balloons and cake slice in the room and also for the breakfast buffet they sang for her and got her a cake slice. We enjoyed our time at the beach...the swing there was picturesque and the jacuzzi was very inviting. The hotel offered masks and sanitizer at all points. We were safe as we relaxed and had a great staycation. Thank you to all the staff who made it special. We surely will recommend a stay for families and couples to celebrate special occasions.

We bought the Sharq Pool and Beach annual Membership in October as our compound pool closed down for renovations. The staff provides excellent service and especially lifeguard Mahabub, he always asks us if we need anything and is always willing to assist us with whatever we need. The pool and beach is clean and they provide nice little treats like fruit skewers, dates and tea. Looking forward to spending a great year!

To be honest it was a wonderful experience at Sharq Village, I have a lot of hotels and resorts previous experiences inside and outside Qatar so I can say confidently Sharq is best resort I have tried before. The best in everything beginning of check in until checkout, the most important thing that recognizes Sharq Village is the highest quality of service that focuses on clients satisfaction regardless hotel interest, they really doing their best to enjoy and get relax in every moment you stay in. All staff trained to carefully to achieve clients satisfaction perfect, moreover the hotel has an amazing location that view Qatar towers, golden beach, and many swimming pools that suits all people needs, kitchen is different story which has a delicious foods for different kitchens, inside rooms everything has different sensation that you never can touch it in another place. Traditional style of building that reflects on everything small pieces of resort gives you a relaxing sensation impossible to get in any other place.

Our staycation experience and celebrating my wife's birthday at @sharqvillageandspa : Honestly, it was a wonderful journey, from the smooth check-in process, to a unique buildings style (in the form of villas) that contain hotel rooms with a traditional theme and distinctive terraces for nice evenings.
We tried the Arabesque lunch at the Liwan restaurant, which offered a nice varied menu, then after that the children enjoyed the pool & the beach, and do not forget to order refreshing drinks from (Al-Seef).
As for celebrating my wife's birthday, we booked a special Gazebo package on the beachfront, which includes a romantic dinner for two people with special setup, flowers, balloons & Candles, prices starting from 1800 riyals for the whole package, for anyone who likes to have a night to remember with your beloved one, this experience is a must!
I would like to thank all the staff, especially: Goresh, Kingvi, Yasser & Dhaker, for making our stay unforgettable.

I booked a one bedroom suite for 7 days. The suite was nice and airy and we quite like it but after one day of our stay they decided to move us to another suite without apologizing or giving valid reasons apart from we have guests arriving to this suite as if we are not guests as well. To make the matter worse they have moved us to a smaller suite!!! When I complained they didnt offer room upgrade nor free night stay as reputable 5 starts hotels do instead they said you agreed to move and we can offer $100 meal voucher as compensation. This is adding insult to injury and extremely impolite and outrageous. Hospitality is the core of hotel business and in this hotel I felt deeply insulted. This is the last time Im staying at this hotel although the room, the spa and the food are excellent but good treatment and manner is also crucial.

No problems at hotels. However the worst hotel food at any hotel I stayed in a long time. Breakfast very poor quality and selection, every day the same. Other restaurants sooo poor. Skip this hotel. Hilton Salwa Beach in completely another league but in the middle of no where. If you can still change stay at Dubai Le Méridien Beach Royal.

The 3 person room capacity is already including a rollaway bed, so you'd need two rollaway beds per room, which in all honesty is going to be tight. I'd email the hotel directly, they are super lovely and will do everything they can to help you, but I suspect it may just be physically impossible due to space. It does very explicitly state in the room description...

No, we found this place insanely good value for money compared to somewhere like Dublin! You're going to feel like a queen here as nearly everything is super cheap compared to the US or Europe. Mina is about 10 mins Uber where there are plenty of lovely coffee shops. BTW, Uber is also incredibly cheap here, that 10min journey will cost you less than 3 euros!
There are more places to choose from in the Doha area.
