This is a relatively recently opened Hilton property and as such we found the staff eager to please and attentive. The hotel was clean and felt safe and secure. Unfortunately, as is considered the norm in this part of the world, smoking is widespread and even permitted indoors and at designated seating areas within the lobby. This dissuaded is from wanting to sit and relax in the lobby as when we did, the party at a neighbouring table started smoking, which we are averse to.

However, it is the staff which make our break a hotel. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and we were particularly impressed with the food safety lady in the breakfast restaurant who kindly explained and walked us though the variety of local foods available.

During our stay we had an unfortunate misunderstanding, possibility partly on our side, whereby we accessed the executive lounge when, in fact, at that time we were not eligible to despite both of us being Diamond Honors members. Initially the junior management staff informed us that we would be required to pay for the food and beverages we had consumed. When it was clear that we were unhappy with how this embarrassing misunderstanding had been handled, the general manager came to talk to us. He was very friendly and clearly focused on guest happiness and wanting us to leave his hotel with a good impression. The misunderstanding was settled and we left the hotel impressed with the service recovery.

On our future trip to Amman, we look forward to staying here again.

I stayed at Hilton Amman for 2 nights in July. The 14th-floor room had nice views of Amman, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was decent and I enjoyed dinner at Nasma terrace with tasty food and live music. I didn't get time to use the pool and jacuzzi. The pool looked small for the size of the hotel, but it was empty, so that shouldn't be an issue. The spa was great and the massage was relaxing. The hotel is about a 25-minute Uber ride from the main tourist attractions in Old Amman, costing around 2 JOD to the amphitheatre or citadel. It's conveniently located close to Abdali Mall, ideal for shopping or people-watching on the promenade at night. I would consider staying here again.

We stayed at Hilton Amman for 2nights and throughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived post midnight on our first night and were thankful that the check in process was smooth and efficient! Our room was huge and had everything needed to relax and have a pleasant stay. We ordered room service on our first night and were impressed with the quality and flavour. Similarly, breakfast was very good with a huge spread and attentive staff. Hotel is conveniently located to visit Jerash and main Amman sites all in one day. Valet service was very convenient, we advise leaving your car there if driving as taxis in Amman were cheap and certainly a more relaxing way to get around! Would happily recommend this hotel.

The service we received here was some of the best we have ever had anywhere! Just want to make that clear as I continue to write this review. We arrived late in the day after a full day of touring and traveling only to be told that they were working on getting us a room. What the heck. This is a new hotel for Hilton in the process of being remodeled from the Meridian hotel. The lobby was absolutely modern and stylish and representative of what is to come. Unfortunately they had been overbooked but worked diligently to get a room for everyone in our party. An hour later and we were in an upgraded beautiful room, a step above our reserved luxury level room. Very clean and comfortable! The breakfast buffet again was wonderful, wide variety of well prepared food. While we enjoyed our breakfast the hotel general manager came over to us, introduced himself and asked some questions about us and our experience at his hotel. Now for another amazing part. Two days later we returned to this hotel and received the same level of excellent service. Great room, great service, great food. As we waited for our transportation to pick us up for our transfer to the airport we were once again greeted by the hotel general manager. He remembered our name, where were from and told us a bit about himself. That to us was amazing! I highly recommend this hotel, I believe you we have a similar experience.

The overall rating is 1 and should be even zero. This review is aimed to hhonor organization, which is becoming lower in service, providing comparable to others such as Sheraton, IHG ..... I suggest whoever reading this and an hhonor member should read this reveiw and try other organization for thier future benefit.

I have been a member of hhonor since 2003. For the last 10 years, I noticed the benefits gained compared to the value are low. Simultaneously, I was a member of Shearton group. Then, I joined Bonvoy and IHG groups. After utilizing them, I noticed hhonor is the worst when it comes to benefits. Yet I continued hhonor because I want to maintain my membership. Yet on several occasions, I booked hotels, and in one case, I couldn't fly, yet my wife made it, and when she tried to check in, they denied that because I was not available. After some time, I booked a room for my daughter in KL, and the same thing happened. This attitude for family members did not exist before. Lately, I booked for my wife and daughter at Aman Hilton, I did add my wife name as second gust and sent a note through the hhonor system that my wife will check in the room. The booking was from 9 to 13 Dec. 2023 and during check-in the front desk, "Mr. Monir" denied the reservation, and he told them the account holder should check in the room. As an option, he proposed to cancel the hhonor points so I will not benefit from this reservation and let them in. They called me and I told them there is no time to change to Marriott hence they have a wedding appointment.

The hotel saw my message, saw my wife name in the reservation, but elected to ignore sending me a massage saying it would not work, and then I had sufficient time to change. Overall, not because of this issue, but the hotel staff services are below avrage, and they don't deserve a revisit. The room was very good and the sleeping quality was fine.

Regards

Horrible experience! I wish there’s a minus sign that I would give to this horrible hotel of a world renowned chain. #1 Tried to over charged us on our CC upon check in to a total of $400 vs $200. We checked the booking email and ask them to correct, they didn’t even apologize for this mistake and corrected it. #2 NO WIFI in room. Yes…. believe it or not we used our roaming to check our social medias and messages. #3 No complementary sweets ( we stayed in the same hotel few weeks ago and did get the complementary macrons) I called twice to the room service for the complementary sweets but no response. #4 They charged our CC upon check in instead of check out which is the norm for almost all hotels. #5 Breakfast was included in our booking and we paid it upon check in but when we went in the breakfast buffet….. they acted as if we are lying and checked with the front desk and made us stand outside the breakfast area! This was unacceptable and I am still traumatized by this humiliation.
FYI: we live in US and we are members of Hilton honors rewards but this stay was not part of using any rewards point either! I am disgusted and horrified by this experience in Amman Hilton.

A newly renovated property that is very nice but is not ready to be 5 stars yet. I stayed 4 nights in two visits. Second check in at 6pm was told room was not ready. This is not acceptable

Room was very clean but had maintenance issues: USB ports not working. Door security lock not working. Shower drained slowly. Window latch very difficult to use. Some wall plugs did not work

Food at breakfast was cold. Breakfast staff insisted on operating the simple push button coffee machine for you and will bring you the coffee but it is cold when they bring it. It’s like most of Jordan, lots of employees pretending to work but they are in your way but very friendly. Hotel is located in a business district so not much for tourists to do

Given all that I would stay again but not likely to return to Jordan. Bed was very comfortable

Terrible Service. No one helping here. Didn’t honor room upgrade I received by email and actually downgraded at check in/ said upgrade was in maintenance when they actually gave it to someone else. Executive lounge is all bottom shelf junk with a two drink limit and horrible food. You need a 30 minute education to work the digital light systems in the room. Most importantly no one seems to care about the customer here. Avoid! Worst Hilton I have stayed in and I have stayed in hundreds.

Traveling from the US to Jordan is extremely exhausting. From the long flight, going through immigration, and the time change, you really don’t want any issues when you’re traveling. Thankfully we had an amazing experience at the Hilton Amman. Not only was the manager Saleem extremely friendly, he made sure we got checked in quickly and recommended what we should do around the hotel and in Amman. The hotel amenities was great. The breakfast buffet was always stocked up and had everything you could think of. The hotel location is also excellent. Would definitely recommend anyone visit Amman to come here
