I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful (especially Omer) and they have a great list of walkable food choices. It's on a very quiet street (by Tel Aviv standards) but close to the market and shops. Allenby street is very loud, but it's a block away so you can't hear it. About 15 mins walk to the beach, or 25 mins to Azarali center for work. The property itself is lovely. The patio is perfect to sit, with plenty of tables and chairs. Too much smoking out there tho. There is no food at the hotel, great places to walk to, but they do have an espresso machine. The room was very clean and quiet, although the doors were very thin and you'll hear everything in the hall way. The rain shower is amazing, so much water pressure and super hot. Comfortable bed, puffy pillows, even a small fridge. I was very happy and recommend it to anyone looking for a little gem.

I felt I was walking into the closet of the rooms where I used to stay. Small and by no means beautifully decorated. True, the street is quiet even though it is very central but that is all that can be said about it that is good. The view from the window is depressing and the doors opening and closing in other rooms near by are very loud. Also true that otherwise it is quiet but it is hard to feel comfortable in such a very small room. I personally do not need it but the TV was not responding to the remote control gadget. the only way to get rid of its frozen image was disconnecting it. Admittedly they try to run it well but if you do stay at the Shenkin, make sure you ask for a decent sized room I for one will be staying away as for all the above, it is slightly overpriced as well.

Dear Margalit, Sorry that we did not met your expectations, as we are an urban hotel in the center of the city our location is great and central, and the view is urbane, You booked our smallest room, (13 square meters) .we do have bigger rooms to offer, We offer to fix the television on the spot but you said it is not necessary, Finally Margalit, thank you for all your comments.
