Hotel Seven Arches Jerusalem is the southern slopes of the Mount of Olives, not far from the Mount Scopus and looks out from the west, at the Old City of Jerusalem with perhaps one of the more beautiful, most inspiring views of living ancient history in the world. To the north, the hotel overlooks the backdrop of the hills of Bethlehem surrounded by large Green Garden. In an effort to better serve our guests, Hotel Seven Arches is proud to announce that our renovation project is now in its final stages, and will be completed in one month. Your stay will now be even more enhanced by the upgraded rooms, restaurants, and lobby area. Our rooms freshly renovated in 2016, few of them with the best view of Jerusalem, now offer modernized, convenient features. Rooms are completely refurbished from carpet to curtains, furniture to fixtures, while the bathrooms are newly refreshed with all new bathroom hardware, lighting and mirrors. Hotel Seven Arches is a short distance from the ancient historical and religious sites of the Holy City and is the perfect base for excursions to Bethlehem, Jericho, Masada, Galilee and beyond. Transportation from Ben Gurion International in Tel-Aviv to the hotel is 50Km (31-60 min. by taxi), and from the hotel to the city center of Jerusalem is 3 km (2-5min. by taxi). Official languages are Arabic and English, Hebrew is widely spoken, and many speak French, German, and Spanish.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is my wife and I’s third stay at 7 Arches, even though the remodeling of the hotel and grounds has been in progress for quite some we love it here, the view of the Old City and the Temple Mount is spectacular! The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean, the air conditioning is great, the dining hall serves very good food! Our favorite time of day is in the late evening when the myriads of mosques announce the call to prayer, from the Old City to Bethany, for non-Muslims we enjoy it… We have no complaints!

Fantastic location on mount Olive. Good wifi range and speed. A good selection of salads and 24/7 availability of coffee / chocolate machine. Plenty of open spaces on the first floor and outside to have group activities. Great views of all major attractions from the front porch

Stayed here as part of a group trip to the Holy Land. Based on the parade of busses outside, it’s apparent that group-stays are this hotels “bread & butter” clientele. The good is the service friendliness. From reception, to housekeeping, to the dining area, everyone that works at sever arches is kind, helpful and genuine. In addition, the views from some of the rooms are quite nice. That’s really where the good stops. This hotel is desperate need of capital improvements and deep cleaning. The rooms are worn down and dirty, the paint is dirty and chipped, there were no bathroom amenities besides a bar of soap and packet of shampoo. The dining room and food quality/taste was just not good. Most likely you are staying here as part of a group, so you can’t change hotels. It’s an ok place to lay your head after a long day touring and the staff will treat you well. But, my tips are, bring slippers for the dirty carpet in the room, bring your bathroom amenities (soap, lotion etc), and bring snacks or eat somewhere else.

It's a good hotel with welcoming staff though it doesn't live up to 4 star rating posted at reception. The hotel have a good restaurant no water provided for the room and it cost to buy bottled water rather you're served with tap water. The amenities are moderate for 3*

Overlooking the city with great views. Comfortable rooms with ultra fast Wifi free. Food basic but always something to suit. Do not know the price of the hotel if not booked through a package so it may expensive!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel provides all the basic necessities for travellers though I find it quite unusual that the hotel does not provide an iron & ironing board. The room is spacious & the WiFi connectivity is excellent. Can’t say the same about the pillows. The pillows are all ‘flat’ & I’m quite fussy about pillows. The duvet is ‘barely’ enough to be used on king sized bed. Bring your own toiletries as the toiletries provided are very basic. The bathroom is rather small though I like the tiles in the shower. The breakfast spread is pretty good & so does the dinner spread. During our visit, the hotel was packed with tourists so we didn’t have any porter service to assist us to carry our luggage. By the way, the arrangement of the rooms are rather odd. There are only 2 levels but elevator only takes you to level 1

We spent 5 days at the Seven Arches Hotel as we traveled daily to Holy Land sites. It was November of 2019. We traveled with a group of 38 from our church. We found the location interesting and relaxing. Many of the hotel guests were tourists visiting the Holy Land.
