We came here for my wife to have surgery in Istanbul and couldn’t have been happier with the hotel and staff. Kaan at the front desk went above and beyond after I requested a better room with a view, Ozzy made us feel welcome taking our bags to the room and showing us the functions, while Jihane was our guest relations was simply excellent at assisting me getting to the hospital, instructing taxis and general help where needed.
They have a good gym, indoor and outdoor pool that are both very clean. Cigdem and the fitness team are very welcoming, giving towels and bottled water if asked.
Room service and the bar staff are again very polite and will bring you your food outside for breakfast and evening meals if you wish. We would happily stay here again.

It was one of the best experiences in a hotel. The staff is super helpful, kind, and caring. They gave us advice on places to go to, restaurants to eat at; they even helped us go and book a COVID test since we were traveling again and needed it. Jihane is an international member of the customer service. She has such a beautiful energy, and she brings life and light wherever she goes. She was a huge help to us especially because we didn’t understand Turkish so she talked to us in any language we understood (whether it was French, english, or Arabic). The hotel experience wouldn’t be the same without her, Cesar, and Rodvan. Those three staff members brought life to the hotel and made this experience amazing.
Regarding the rooms, they are clean and very nice. They clean the rooms everyday.
The services were varied. They had a two pools (one of them was closed because of the COVID situation), a spa, a salon, a gym and a Hamam (however they are also close).
Considering the COVID situation, they were taking a lot of precautions. Masks should be worn at all time except when you’re eating, your temperature is taken whenever you come in the hotel, they clean everything, and most of the faculties were close. Even at the gym, they had social distancing rules.
All in all, it was a very beautiful experience. I highly recommend it.

Long stay from august 23rd 2021 until 8th of October 2021, 2 rooms. This is the first time i write a review in trip advisor, the reason of writing this review is to explain honestly about radisson blu ottomare istanbul and make it a reference for anyone wanting to go to Istanbul and stay in this part of the city. First of all about the location, its in a lively area in which 5 minutes by car you can go to many malls and restaurants etc.. plus the best view of the sea. Secondly, the rooms are well furnished, got everything you need plus a furnished balcony with a nice view of the sea, very clean bathroom, well maintained, furniture up to date. Thirdly, the facilities. A very huge outdoor swimming pool, well maintained, clean, with a sitting area where you can order food and drinks all day, the gym has a nice view of the swimming pool plus an indoor swimming pool which is very well maintained with a very helpful staff. Forth, the restaurant and food. They have the best food with reasonable price which you can have all kinds of cuisine and snacks all day long plus 24 hours room service with a full menu in a reasonable price. Fifth, lobby and interior. Very big lobby with variety of sitting areas with a nice view of the swimming pool and very well furnished. Finally, the staff was very helpful from the reception, the restaurant, the outdoor which they have 24 hours taxi service, and the housekeepers they were all helpful and well trained. I teach management for many years and i can give the staff 10/10 of efficiency. In the end whenever im coming to Istanbul, radisson blu ottomare will be my chosen hotel and im looking forward for my next holiday in this hotel and this is not a promotion for the hotel but an honest review from a guest who’s been all over hotels around the world. All front desk staff are very courteous. Mrs. Ece helped us check in&out who speaks English fluently.
The chef is doing amazing job there everytime we ordered food was delicious. The food isn't even comparable with the other hotels room services around there it's the most delicious.

But negative facts about this hotel just made us decide to go to the other hotels nearby to stay.

*The room was not cleaned properly even towels were dusty in the room and we're allergic!

*The panels for AC&lights didn't work properly and we had to press every button to turn on the AC.

*Bathroom lighting is really poor so I could barely see my face in the mirror which made it impossible to apply my makeup in the bathroom.

*There was mold in the bathroom and smells like mold.

*We could easily hear disturbing noises our next door at 2am that happened every night!

*The main reason that we chose this hotel was it's pool looks stunning but it was a disaster! It's looking like a bigger version of the kids pool with the edges that had brown dirt stains! Kids were jumping into that pool with their shoes which isn't hygienic at all!

*We couldn't find a person to serve us around the pool everytime that we tried. When we asked for sun beds, towels etc. they didn't helped us so we had to take care of everything by ourselves!

*Gym was unventilated. No social distancing. Guests walking around on there phones not using machines.

*There's nothing in the nearby area we had to get a taxi everywhere. There's a mini shop in the hotel but they're selling sunscreens for a 250 TL which is 40 TL at the shops outside. So I wouldn't recommend shopping here as it’s a rip off.

*Hotel restaurant was closed due to Covid19 restrictions which is safe for everyone but they were serve the food or beverages to the pool area. Unfortunately there's only few tables to sit there so we never found a table thats available to sit and have some drinks.

Dear Eda Avci And Mr. Aaron Murphy, First of all, Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us and for making us aware of all the details concerning your experience in our property. Please rest assured that your feedback has been shared with the relevant departments, although we would have been very happy if we knew in advance about any type of issues or concerned you have experienced while you were staying in our hotel, this will not only allow us to correct them but also to change your perspective and offer a much better experience. We understand that the main reason for your negative feedback was related to the Spa and to The cleaning. As we have checked your reservation and the room you were assigned to, our ground floor rooms with the terrace facing the garden do experience a certain wind since we are located in front of the sea on a level that is windy, we always advise our guests to shut their balcony doors when they leave the room in order to minimize the dust. I believe that the Guest Service Manager Mrs. Ece has given you an upgrade from a standard room to a room with a Terrace to make your stay more comfortable, as well as minimize your bill as a gesture of goodwill during your check out to leave a positive memory about your stay in our hotel. Mrs. Eda, we could have chosen a different room for you, or informed our housekeeping to provide a more detailed cleaning. This does not excuse the fact that we will be making sure that more training is provided to our staff in the Housekeeping department so this type of cleaning issues are not been repeated. Additionally, please be informed that our Spa/Spa service is managed by an outsource company for that reason we will be emailing your feedback to the head manager of the facility. But please note that our Gym has all the relevant notes advising our guest to respect the social distancing rules, you could read from some reviews below that praised our hotel for taking the extra measures regarding guest safety during the pandemic. Mrs. Eda, as you have repeatedly thanked our Restaurant, room service, and the front office department. We apologize for failing to receive the same feedback in the cleaning department. But we hope that the extra effort we have put could change your perspective and hopefully change your rating as it will encourage the other department that you have praised for their effort while you were in our hotel. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Highly recommended for families as the rooms are spacious and have everything one requires, a home from home, great soundproofing, clean, reception staff are extremely helpful and amazing views of the sea and giant pool from the balcony. Had few celebrity encounters too.We do recommend a car to get to the centre if you have children or taxi, as city centre 15-20 minutes away. We will surely visit again!

I made a reservation for a room for 3 people online but when I came the reservation was canceled by the website.
Miss Ece ozkan was amazing she made for us a new reservation with same price and gave us a suite because we were 3 people for the price of a regular room.
The customer service is excellent because of her services we stayed here and we didn't go to the second hotel where we booked for the second part of our stay.
This type of service was provided by Jihane the kind lady with a warm attitude that makes you feel at home.
Kaan at the reception also The kitchen staff mr Osman and unit for excellent service during breakfast.
The best part is We felt we were always giving the choice to decide about our stay and they made us all comfortable.
I want to also thank Enes who carried our bags also sezer and Mustafa.

Thank you all we will come just for the staff and we recommend this hotel for the attitude we were shown.

First time staying at their place but I ve den it around I decide to take my dad n mom to Istanbul for my dads 60th bday … 3 ppl payed for room one Queen bed apparently queen bed fits 3 adults after one night sleeping 3 of us on when bed like sardines we got extra bed problem solved no place to
Move around but fine we tried to forget about it and enjoy
Service : NO hospitality service this place needs to retrained its employees (besides Jihane and one server forgot her name ) no smile no sorry no thank u cell
Phone rings I wait they talk ok their phone like they are not working no coustumers , pool service slower than anything ordered drinks multiple times felt like we were inconvenience not guests spending their money
Next day after pool day taking shower and in middle no hot water 5 mins after no cold water I took a shower with water of bottles from the fridge the only ones I had
Same day after we came back from dinner and long day of walking the ceiling was leaking water over make up bag water on floor than someone came and fixed something so it stopped next thing someone knocked on the doors so give me extra towels and left not sure what was that about it but u guess for my self to clean the floor n the water …. Pool day noon ppl using pool n pool beds taking naps lay down n catch tan but landscaper was mowing the land for about 4 hrs on and off noise like ur in a local park not payed vacation …. Trough out my life of 35 yr I ve stayed from Motel 6 to hiltons and Ritz Carlton but I haven’t seen such an poorly run place I honestly haven’t seen anything like this my parents were devastated so and I so family vacation trip turned out to complete disaster

The category provided to you upon check-in is the room that was booked for you, all the details related to the room size are already shared and visible on the booking page we have shared this information with the agency when they called and also with you when we showed you a different room category. We came to Turkey for our honeymoon and upon learning that the hotel sent us lovely dessert and roses and that was very courteous of them. During our entıre stay, all of our small and big requests have been attended to gracefully by the staff. Special thanks to Rana. Our room was very nice, the design and view are very aesthetically pleasiing, and of course the comfort and cleanliness matched the same level. The spa was also a lovely addition and was included. The food was actually great, not like most hotel food, Thanks to Gizem for taking our complicated orders very smoothly. Theres a big variety and every option is equally delicious. I recommend this hotel for many couple who wants a fancy vacation that does not break the bank. I can say that we are very happy and will look forward to another visit here,

We had an amazing time in Istanbul. The hotel location is great, quick taxi ride to all main locations and great sea view from the rooms! The services at the hotel are great, poolside drinks and brunch where yummy and relaxing. Gym/sauna facilities were fab! All the staff from reception to the cleaners were 1st class but I must give a warm shoutout to JIHANE AHMID (guest relations supervisor) who made our stay feel like a home away from home - she knows all the best places to visit for food/drinks and is so approachable and friendly! We will be back!

The moment we arrived we were so pleasantly greeted , temp checked for Corona , taken to front desk to be informed of everything we would need to know , a lovely young guy kindly took our suitcase to the room , getting into the room we were not very happy with the lack of view from our window , the next day we were quickly swapped into an amazing room with an amazing view. The staff have all been perfect , Johanni, a young lady that works here has been so helpful , I’ve been stuck in my room recovering after surgery , she has kindly helped my husband find nice places to eat , arranged taxis for him & helped him with anything he’s needed. There is 24 hour room service which has been very helpful for me. The food is incredibly cheap and delicious , tastes amazing. Complementary bottles of water each and every day to the room. The hotel itself is extremely clean. There is not one thing I would fault. I write this as I am still in the hotel recovering , I will definitely be coming back here in the future and will highly recommend to anyone. It’s affordable but you get so much for your money.
I luckily have another 3 days to enjoy relaxing here.
Oh and beds are so so comfortable!!!
