We stopped over in Istanbul on our way home from Bodrum for two days and a night.

The room was clean and looked newly decorated. The Aircon worked very well and was not too loud. The common area was really nice to hang out in, I wish we could have stayed there a bit longer! All the staff were very helpful and spoke very good English.

It was also in a very central location, the Hagia Sophie and Blue Mosque only a 10 minute walk away.

Would 100% recommend to anyone looking a for a good value and centrally located hotel in Instabul 😁

This is truly one of greatest hostel experiences you can hope to have. The rooms are cleaned daily and are really great value for money. There is a free complimentary breakfast each morning with great variety of food to suit everybodies needs. There are events each night such as beer pong, karaoke, free shisha which is ideal for solo travellers to meet other like minded people. The hostel is situated in an ideal location in walking distance of some of Istanbuls beautiful landmarks and public transport. The staff are amazing and are always there to help you with whatever your needs may be 24/7. I could recommend this place highly enough.

Great Hostel with amazing staff and location. The rooms are very comfortable with a view to the sea, the food is very tasty, and can't really say enough good things about the staff. All of them are very helpful, joyful, and great to spend time with. Highly recommend it.

One of the worst hotels I've ever been. You imagine a georgeues 3 star hotel from the pictures and you find yourself in a lousy hoStel needing massive restoration. Our room floor was completely destroyed, bed sheets and towels had holes, and the room was flooded with the rain. The cafeteria for breakfast is extremely dirty due to previous day party. After knowing what Turkish breakfast is, the one served here is very poor. Furthermore, it is quite noisy at night due to slamming doors from other guests.

Dear Guest, we would like to ask you to write your review to corresponding hotel you’ve booked because your review is done to the wrong property, we are not a 3 star hotel to start with, we are a Hostel. Your review is misleading the guests trying to book our hostel, we have already contacted tripadvisor reporting about the case and removal of the review since it is done for the wrong property but due to the COVID-19 case their office seems to be shut. We serve continental Turkish breakfast in a sea view terrace unlike you describe the one served in your property, and our all rooms are renovated and there is no maintenance issues. We kindly ask you to revise your review and resend it to the property you’ve booked and stayed.

Very good location, very helpful staff. Good experience was destroyed during checkout.
I booked bed in dorm for 5 nights for 50eur via booking.com. During check-in I asked how much would be an upgrade to private room. I got price of 85eur which was good and I accepted immediately.
During checkout I was asked to pay 107eur. Staff member explained that 85eur he mentioned was price only for 3 nights and I need to pay extra for 2 nights...

After friendly chat we agreed there was a mistake on staff member side who was saying price for only 3 nights, but not for 5 nights. Could happen that I missed information about 3 nights only, it was middle of the night. Anyway, providing upgrade price for 3 nights while my stay was 5 nights was very confusing and not explained properly...

I ended up paying 107eur. This price is still OK, but it’s not an excuse while during checkin it was agreed for 85eur... I agree everyone can make a mistake, especially in the middle of the night. But as a customer who needs to pay more than initially agreed, I feel very disappointed.

Thanks,
Piotr

Three stars for the location. However, accommodation is below average.

-Rooms are not the cleanest, washroom definitely needs more cleaning and overall more maintenance is required.

-No common area apart from Bar to sit or to take calls.

-No kitchen or pantry.

I won't recommend to stay here for over a night or two. But if location is only thing you are looking for then go for it.

Only good thing was location. Almost everything could have been much better.
I didn’t get a room in the hostel building, but in an annex across the street, about 20m away. My stay this way seem like an airbnb, but with no living room, no kitchen, and very small room and bathroom. Worse than that, very poor conditions overall (photos attached). The ceiling lamp was not enough to keep the room to acceptable brightness levels, and 2 bed lamps on each side were not working. very uncomfortable toilet, especially if I needed to use it right after using the shower. Another annoying thing was the excessive number of humidity flies in the room, every night/morning I had to kill several, and the room had at times very nasty smell so I had to open the window.
Incredibly, my room was not done in my 8-night stay, with the exception of day 7. It was ok that it was not done daily, but after day 3 I asked, and I was told it would be cleaned + tower and sheet changes. I reported this, and was told by the receptionist that the laundry service to the hostel 3am. But for the following days, incredibly nobody entered the room, until night 7. At a point I stopped complaining, I didn’t care any more, and I had only in mind to write this review.
Internet in my room was quite bad in the evening and morning, precisely when a guest will most need it. Breakfast was quite basic, and everyday the same. Self-service except for drinks, and every day I would have the coffee either too sweet, or too watery, or too strong, and sometimes up to my taste, but totally random.
While you read this might be thinking, “but it’s a hostel, what were you expecting?”. That is precisely my point: on my search I had seen a couple of boutique hotels in the same area, with cozy rooms, and for even lower price than the private room I got in this hostel. I was totally fouled by comments (maybe some fake?). I had been once to an awesome hostel in Amsterdam so I believed this place would match that previous experience. There is absolute incompetence to run the place, maybe few employees that are overwhelmed with work. What is true is that they were friendly and smile at you and call you by your name. I would definitely have preferred the opposite: being ignored by staff but getting a service according to what I have payed. If you are on a budget and want to stay in a shared room maybe this is an option for you, but if you want a private room, go somewhere else to have a decent stay for the same or smaller price. Eventually if you like the “hostel vibe” just show up for the bar (also BBQ / events depending on the day): as long as you bring and spend cash, you will be more than welcomed.

Well ,it was nice hostel ,because of the guests mainly.
Too many stairs.
I stayed in female 6beds dorm,
Bed was comfortable ,but door handle and the key were broken and they tried to fix it but no success , for us was more easy to just keep the door open whole time!!
There was an BBQ event and me and some other guests joined that for 15€ , food was delicious plus one free drink ,but it doesn't worth it .
But the main reason I won't go back here is, you are not allowed to drink other drinks ,alcoholic or not there. bar is in common area ,so when I was drinking a beer on terrace , bar tender came and told me I'm not allowed to drink things they serve at their bar , and if I wanna drink them I have to do it in my room! Nothing to say !
So unreasonable , rude ,...

Brilliant holiday with family. A special thanks to Mr Abbas Khan, who is one of my favourite persons, for his warmth, expertise, hospitality and genuine care. Abbas Khan was really approachable and seemed accessible at all times (does he take a break ?). During his time off, Abbas would still be very helpful and cater to visitors. Makes one feel guilty when he is so kind and when he truly extends myself so much. Admirable work ethic. Thank you again, Abbas. Another thanks to Murat for being accommodating, friendly and for always smiling :)

The room was well-conditioned, facilities were clean and fellow guests were pleasant. We even had a lovely BBQ party with Spanish, Arabic, Somali, South American influences, a true melting pot of cultures. The food was delicious too, courtesy of Murat's and Abbas' culinary skills. Thanks guys :) Main area of hotel with beach view, beach within 5-10mins walking distance. Hotel centred near town centre (10mins walk) and near tourism hot spots including Sultan Ahmet and Aysofya mosques. Ideal location for travellers looking to explore.

One suggestion includes providing self service breakfast and drinks (I like to have a few cups of coffee in the morning). I'm assuming self-service may have been hindered by current pandemic, which is understandable. Overall, great trip. Best part was the customer service provided by Abbas Khan, service was exceptional. Hotel highly recommended, staff are brilliant and great value for money. Family and I will be sure to return.

This hostel is inside the old town which makes going around the city easy. The hostel staff are very helpful too. I wish they can clean the room more often and avoid accepting guests from countries who are from turkey's red list.

Airport pick up varies a lot in price. We paid around 30 Euros when we went to our hotel (they arranged for us) but there is a service just across the street that sent us back for 12 Euros. We weren't at the hotel, we were next door but ate there a few times it was very good. The road to the airport is very busy at night. Allow two hours to get to the airport. We got to the hotel in around 30 minutes in the morning.
