Location is safe. Rooms are relatively bigger than the common size in Istanbul's hotels. Several transportation options nearby. Helpful front desk, specially Maria. Photos are similar to what we found. Breakfast is decent. Tea, instant coffee, kittle and water are provided and replenished daily in the room. Bed sheets and towels are replaced daily.

When taking the tram, there are two stations near by, Aksaray and laleli. One is uphill and the other is down hill. If you are leaving from the hotel take Aksaray, when you are returning take Lalei.
Also, Taxis are just around the corner. If you are in a group, taxis are better, but know the price and negotiate before taking the taxi, otherwise they will ask for a much higher fare than the normal fare.

Something to know when buying things in Istanbul not related to the hotel. It seems that sellers everywhere in Istanbul love to negotiate prices. But, I noticed a very strange behavior. They ask for a very high price, then if you counter the offer by a low price from their point of view, they become mad. Sometimes the deal is settled for a price near what you offered, but they sometimes turn really rude.

Lalei is a nice area and walking towards Beyazit area is nice.

The best hotel I have stayed at in Turkey. This is my 4th trip to the hotel and each time the service just seems to get better.

From Management, to front staff, to restaurant staff and cleaning staff all are exceptionally friendly and go beyond to make sure your stay is pleasant.

Location is perfect, a mere 800m to the grand bazaar, with restaurants and coffee shops around the corner.

For the muslim clientele, the hotel has a Chamii (mosque) on its doorstep.

I will always stay at this wonderful hotel.

The reservations manager, Ms. Mariana was quick to reply to all our concerns. Housekeeping service was prompt and clean. The kitchen staff were also very accommodating considering that we have a toddler in our group. The hotel is centrally located and quiet.

We stayed on 1st March till 5th March and we were greeted by Serdam who was the reception clerk, he was friendly and happy fellow.

Next morning I had to change rooms because I couldn’t sleep all night because of the noise on the street, there was no ironing board in the room which was very disappointing. My room was changed my Muhammad which I really appreciated and he gave me a bigger room than the previous box room that I had.

Ozan was the most helpful and friendly person there who guided me where to go and how to reach Ortakoy.

Breakfast was okay nothing amazing !

But thanks for having us

We booked this hotel for few nights but since there was an issue on the pre payment part, which we got to know once we reached the hotel physically (by the time they updated us about the issue we were already in the flight). We were refused to check in as they were fully booked and our booking was cancelled and then we had no place to go with all our luggage and a small child. After discussion with Serdum, staff of Ramada, we were offered a room in the History hotel bang opposite to Ramada. Serdum helped us get a room here and we were really thankful to him. As May and June being the peak tourist season in Turkey most of the hotels were fully booked. Luckily we got a place to stay for one night and the next morning we checked in to Ramada in the family room which had enough room for our luggage and us to move around. It was comfortable and sleep quality was good. Bathrooms are equipped with bathtub and all the toiletries were provided. There was a provision of tea and coffee in the room with a small workstation. Safety box is also provided in the room. The hotel is located in a well connected area to Metro, buses and trams. Its walkable from Grand Bazaar and Chemberlitas (another shopping area). Aksaya is the nearest tram station to the hotel and just 3-4 stops away to Blue Mosque. Hotel staff was very helpful and available all the time. Breakfast was good with some choices and the food in the restaurant was also made as per our requirement. We requested for a packed breakfast for our early morning flight and it was kept ready before we reached the reception in the morning. Kids play park is also opposite to hotel’s back door. All together it was a good stay and staff tried to make it more comfortable.

I returned to the Ramada Grand Bazaar after an absence of two and a half years because of the pandemic. I was delighted the hotel was still operating and pleased to see familiar helpful staff with friendly faces. The rooms continue to be of a high standard, whilst breakfast is varied and delicious. This hotel remains one of my ‘go to’ places in Istanbul.

This hotel is consistently good. I’ve been staying here frequently over the past few years and have never been disappointed.

Conveniently situated near Aksaray and Veznecilar metro stations and within easy walking distant of the Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmet.

The hotel has fantastic, friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The Turkish style buffet breakfast has a good choice of fresh food. Omelettes are cooked to order and delivered to your table.

After using a number of hotels in Istanbul, I have a fondest for the Ramada Grand Bazaar. It’s modest size, good location and exceptional staff makes this my hotel of choice.

Misleading location and false advertising.
The location is a 15-20 minute walk to the grand bazaar and I didn’t appreciate that no taxi is available due to the location or astronomical fares so I walked in 36c heat and it wasn’t nice.
The hotel itself is a definite 3.5 star hotel with zero facilities and amenities. Use of jacuzzi or sauna is with a appointment. Zero amenities in bathroom the soap holder never had soap in it.
The restaurant only available at breakfast zero . Room service menu had one of the 6 options which was a toast I think they were going to get from
Corner store. Went downstairs for dinner well again one option so we left.
Staff are reasonably nice but a far cry from the hospitality I would have expected from Turks.
Clean well yes it was.
Views nil. Little children’s playground isn’t my idea of a garden view.
Will I return, NEVER. Plenty to choose from at the same price in a better location.
Sorry Ramada you definitely didn’t live upto your name

This hotel was one of the best hotel I have ever had stayed. The staff was very helpfull. The breakfast was very sufficient to every taste. The kitchen has the variety of foods. The rooms are very nice and clean.
It is sort of family- run bussiness. they make you feel at home. Every one is very sincere and kind.
The location is good. You can reach very easily to the grand bazaar and the historic island where most of the museums locate,
It is very suitable for the bussiness trip as well as the touristic visits.
Thanks to Melisa (manager), she made all our wishes true.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights from New Years Eve. The superior room we had was spacious and comfortable, it was cleaned daily and well maintained. The breakfast was lovely and staff did well to cater for any special requirements I.e I was unwell so Ersin made me a hot drink which contained honey, lemon and sage along with other homemade remedies for cold/flu.

All staff were really helpful, approachable and professional, we got to know Maria, Serdem, Cansu, Eser, Sebahatiin, Perman, Ozan and Ersin. They were attentive to our needs and provided great customer care I.e they arranged no-hassle covid tests and taxi’s to assist with departure plans, on hand to help me locate points of interests and checked in with us daily to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. I would not hesitate to book another stay at this Ramada hotel.

Thank you all for an amazing experience and we look forward to returning in the future. From the Mustafa’s
