Lovely small hotel. Great location next to the Hagia Sofia. Fantastic turkish coffee served. Amazing services by the friendly staffs especially the restaurant services in the morning for breakfast. What made it better was the panorama view..... you can see the Blue mosque, of course the Hagia Sofia as well the city and Bosphorus river. Had a wonderful holiday. Due to its excellent location, it was just a walking distance to every thing you need to go to within sultanahmet area.. many shops, restaurants etc. Also about 15 minutes walk to the Bazaar.

My friend left a small bag at the hotel when our transport had left for the airport. The hotel called the driver to stop when we were about 1km away from the hotel. One of the staffs sent the bag to us to make sure we didn't leave it behind. So grateful for this as the bag contained souvenirs. Thank you!

Stayed at this hotel from 18 to 21st November, my reason for visiting Istanbul was to visit Hagia Sophia, and Blue Mosque and to view Sultanahmet and to have a room facing these beautiful places and that wonderful view every morning was a blessing. The view from my window was amazing, the hotel has a terrace restaurant on top floor, and to be able to eat a wonderful breakfast with range of food with this wonderful view every morning is something I could get used to. The manager and staff at this hotel were so helpful and made my stay at this wonderful hotel a memorable one, I will definitely be returning soon with my son and daughter. For me an hotel with full stars is not something I hand out lightly, it as to tick all the right boxes for cleaning, value, food etc, this hotel and the manager right down to the cleaning staff do an amazing job, and I can't speak highly enough of it, everything was just perfect

The best hotel for Istanbul. Every turistic attraction is very near. Tram no. T1 is 2 min walk from hotel. From some rooms very nice view to Aghia Sophia. Our room 402 was great. There was enough spacy, big, clean. The bathroom is with shower, it could be a little bit bigger. Every day they change towels and clean the room, put a bottle of water and tea/ coffee free. The restaurant on the top floor has the best view to Aghia Sophia and Bosporus. The breakfast is ok, the service is very good. Dinner is very tasty, service is also very good (we had a nice woman, I think her name is Noza, very nice). Price is a little bit expensive. I recommend this hotel 100%.

Small bedroom with small balcony only fence near windows. They provide electric kettle, mineral water inside mini bar, safety box, closet, toilet, shower inside the room.
Best location near restaurants, Hagia Sophia Mosque, the park, Blue Mosque by walk.
There is rooftop restaurant in the hotel that you can have breakfast or dinner with the view of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. I think the hotel overprice because the room is so small.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel, which has an absolutely perfect location just 300m from Hagia Sophia. We booked a room with panoramic view and requested an upgrade to a room with balcony, which we kindly got. We had a direct view to Hagia Sophia, which was breathtaking and epic!
Our room was unfortunately very small, shabby, and stinky. Especially the bathroom was in bad condition and was tiny. Also, more annoyingly, there was noise from the restaurant above and from other rooms and corridors all evening until late night every single day. On the last night, it was so unbearable, that we had to change rooms, which was slightly more quiet, but we still couldn't sleep until late. Then, every single morning from 5:30, there was noise from the restaurant (dragging table, etc.). Also, the staff in the Restaurant was absolutely incapable to prepare breakfast in time or to offer us tea or coffee. They didn't even care about the guests at all.
These made our experience somewhat negative. Even though we had an amazing view and experienced great service skills, friendliness, and attention from the Reception staff, the negatives (especially the noise) cancelled it all out.
Altogether, we got value for money, but we would not stay again due the thin walls and constant noise throughout the entire hotel, which makes quality sleep impossible.
However, if you can sleep easily and noise is not a factor, I would recommend this room category due its probably best view to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.

Let me first mention that my 5 star rating does NOT mean this is a 5 star hotel. The And Hotel is an inexpensive, boutique hotel and for what it is and what it cost it was great. It is now my “go to” hotel when I’m on my own and want to stay in The Sultanahmet area. You could almost hit the Hagia Sophia with a rock from the roof.

It is a multistory old building nicely converted into a hotel. Nothing fancy, but well kept. Breakfast was very good and well stocked (good coffee!). Oldschool elevators, small but worked well; you need to ascent one flight of stairs to get to the breakfast room. Beds adequately comfortable. Good wifi. Everything I needed.

I will say the staff just about fell all over themselves to be welcoming and helpful. They would run to a door to open it for us, hold open an elevator, get us tea when in the lobby. The only slight problem was that our transfer drivers to and from the airport had a bit of a problem finding it, but a call to the hotel fixed that quickly (I did have the hotel info with me). The elaborate restaurant next door could be a bit noisy during high season, but didn’t bother us.

The hotel is literally 150 yards from the Hagia Sophia, two blocks from the tram, a short walk to all sorts of places to eat and a small store to buy drinks and snacks at normal prices. Everything I need and want on a tourist trip to Istanbul. Again, it’s now my go to place.

I was here with my family for an entire week. For me this hotel offered a great experience. It have the best position in Istanbul, right in the center of historical old center, near Hagia Sofia, with an amazing view from rooms (either to Hagia Sofia, Blue Moske or Golden Horn). Very, very polite staff, ready anytime to meat your wish. Very good breakfast (restaurant is on the roof, so you have an amazing view of Istanbul) and very clean rooms. If you travel by car, you can find a private parking near the hotel, at a reasonable price.

WARNING: You may not get the room you are booking. We booked the panoramic room on Expedia (the most expensive one) and it had pictures of a room with a balcony and view of hagia Sofia . We even confirmed beforehand for this room by messaging the hotel but they decided to give our room to a different customer. They only offered us a full refund the morning of our stay (were you really expecting us to last minute book another hotel?).

We won’t be back and don’t know why you would lie and treat your customers this way. This was wrong. We always tip well and write good reviews of hotels that treat customers well.

The service of Necati and his team was excellent and the hotel facilities were excellent. The rooms and dining room had great views and the breakfast was delicious! The reception desk helped me to call a taxi at a reasonable price, very good service, so that I did not get ripped off (Uber taxi is 50 euros for private chat but only 800 lira for reception). The location is very good, very close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and other attractions, five minutes walk to reach, you can see their views from the room.

Is breakfast included in the room rate? Do the standard double rooms have a mini-fridge and/ormicrowave?

The buffet is included and they have a pretty good selection (cheeses, cold cuts, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, olives, Greek yogurt, fruit, Turkish pastries and pies). I remember only 2 types of cereal, maybe something like corn flakes and Cocoa Puffs. There is a small fridge in the room and no microwave. However, there are many restaurants around the hotel.Right across the hotel there is a small store with reasonable prices for water and drinks, we shopped there every day.

We took a cab from the airport, showed the driver the address, and made sure the cab had a meter. The ride was about 50 TL. If you do not have much luggage you could use metro and then the tram. The tram station is about 5 mins walking distance from the hotel.
