We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Close to all amenities, restaurants, public transportation, cafes etc.

Nuh at Reception and Aynur ( Housekeeper) made all the difference. Sinan was extremely helpful and kind to my family.

I will come back because of all these wonderful people. Thanks

The Hampton inn has friendly staff who are able to assist in every way. Especially Abdul Celil who saw that our every need was met. The rooms are brand new and the beds are comfortable with block out curtains. The breakfast is very basic however and the hotel delivers exactly what one would expect from a Hampton Inn. The location of the hotel isn’t in the best area but is very close to various modes of transport such as the tram and the metro being 6 minutes away when walking

We had 3 rooms for family from 1st to 3rd June. The front desk reached out before arrival with information about airport transfer and other tours and activities in the city. It was a great experience from the start to the beginning. Ozkan and Ferhat were very helpful and professional and helped us with the luggage and check us in swiftly. The rooms were very spacious, functional with comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel interiors are very pleasing and new and the reception guys go out of their way to help and support customers and nothing is too much bother. The complimentary breakfast is reasonable and you can order omelette and there is usually a soup option. they could do more with labelling the foods a bit better. They helped us by giving us complimentary late checkout so that we could directly go to the airport. Yusufpasa and Aksaray tram station are round the corner where you can be in Sultanahmet in 3-4 stops. Overall, its the staff who are the real asset and the life of this hotel. I would highly recommend this as a value stay for exploring Istanbul.

we stayed at this residence for 6 nights we booked Interconnecting rooms after traveling for 2 days across 2 continents with 2 kids in tow we arrive to find our rooms thats were booked 2 months in advance given to a guest who requested to stay on.no word of apology we were just expected to accept it.

the manager Fateh Durran was extremely unapologetic rude and arrogant he got angry with my hubby and hubby says to him why u getting angry he then futher instructs his receptionist Bursa and bell boy Ugur of the situation and their attitudes suddenly change so much so that a friendly bell boy suddenly becomes unhelpful and disinterested in assisting in any way how 😔 and this receptionist runs to warn Mr Durran of our presence everytime we arrive for breakfast
please I request that Hilton group reinstate them in their hospitality program they desperately need some serious lessons

to the rest of the staff night kitchen and cleaning staff thank u for making our stay bearable
location excellent clean hotel and comfy

just the manager needs reinstatement or replacement..

The hotel is modern, clean and loved by all who proudly work there. Great housekeeping, our room had a terrace with a view.
The Hampton seems out of place in this location. The old town stretches 3 km east from here, Hampton’s on the western edge. Areas east have been more westernised, life is slightly less frenetic. The Hampton’s in the genuine old Istanbul’s hustle and bustle. Life is still as it was before Mr Hilton got there.
No hotel restaurant or bar which I found a problem. Many local restaurants are 50 metres west down Turgut Ozal where you will be welcomed and treated well. Meals are inexpensive but very good. The only danger will be crossing the road; always use the crossing.
Not sure where you'll find a bar round there but the nice man at the corner shop opposite the Hampton sold all the take-away makings of a gin and tonic at reasonable prices.
Apart from walking, there are no easy ways of getting around in that area. It’s worthwhile for those travelling under their own steam getting to know the public transit system, also in Turgut Ozal. I wouldn’t recommend anybody taking a taxi anyplace in Istanbul, anytime. Life’s too short.
Great Hampton breakfast but the scrambled eggs should be hotter.

Stayed in 100+ Hilton chain hotels and this was one of the least enjoyable. Calling it Old Town is a stretch as its in the middle of modern buildings and road junctions and a mile+ not very pleasant walk from Sultanahmet. True the T1 tram to there and the Asian side is extremely convenient but buses and traffic are messed up currently by closure of the main road into the centre. Temps approached 30 during our late June stay but the air con wouldn’t go below 25 which made the room too warm for us and we didn’t sleep well. Bedding had a hole in it. Shower floor very slippery and sink plug didn’t work. Room fridge not working. The breakfast is certainly much more extensive than you’d find in a US or West European Hampton but we found it to be fairly low quality. Baked goods weren’t at all crisp and potentially nice spring type rolls and fries were soggy because their container was covered with a lid. Scrambled eggs weren’t properly cooked, Coffee was very basic and cheese and yoghurt was rather tasteless. And no recognition of Diamond status until prompted and then just a small soft drink.

We have stayed in this hotel for our first visit to beautiful Istanbul and we were ao glad that we have chosen this hotel. New hotel with great central location and very convenient public transport links nearby. Friendly and very helpful staff, good buffet breakfast.
This is a budget hotel so don’t expect great views and balconies from the rooms, but if you are here to explore Istanbul this hotel is perfect with its location and helpful staff.
Have you breakfast on the morning, then jump on the T1 tram from Yusufpaşa stop which is 3 minutes walk and goes to the most central places like Sultanahmet, Topkapı palace, Grand bazar, Basilica cisterna etc. and roam the city all day. If you feel like you want an evening entertainment like boat tour, restaurant visit etc. just go to the front desk and the staff is more than happy to help organize and book.

Fantastic hotel, right beside tram, can get to Hagia Sophia in less than 10 minutes. Super friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel itself is new and pristinely kept. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide selection of food much more generous than Hampton Inns in the United States.

This property does not live upto the Hilton brand. While the rooms are nice and clean. The staff at this hotel are extremely non-hospitable. It seems as if they are forced to work, nobody here smiles.

We had an issue with our booking and we asked for help at the reception and the receptionist replied saying “sorry I am busy right now”. And this is a constant reply whenever you ask for help.

The staff does not care about customers at all. One morning my sister woke up with a health issue, at 6am I rushed to the reception to ask where the nearest hospital or clinic was. She simply said “left and straight”. And then turned away. Absolutely no concern to what was going on.

When housekeeping came to clean the room. I asked her to give me 5 mins, she rudely taps on her watch and asks me to hurry up? That was extreme. I believe no hotel should treat guests like this. Wether they are a Hilton or not.

I could go on about several other instances. Every time I visited the reception, there was an angry customer and a careless staff telling them he’s busy and can’t help.

However to sum up. This hotel is okay if you do not like good service and just want to crash at night. But if you do want to have a good holiday please choose another hotel as staffs attitude spoils the experience and is an embarrassment to the Turkish hospitality we hear about. Many other branded hotels at the same price are available in the area.

Very friendly staff. Especially Pinar head of house keeping, made our stay feel special and went above and beyond her duties to make sure we were well looked after. Would stay again just because of her. But all staff helpful and good. Close to Grand bazaar and blue mosque.
