In the garden there are several places to chill down. Rooms are pretty cheap and clean. There wall sockets aren't working, next to the beds in the dormitory, but outside I can charge all my stuff. The place is calm, no noise from the streets. Unfortunately the mosquitos can access the room, sometimes they bother during the night. The breakfast is simple and great! I love Mama's porridge, the kasha, which is served for a general breakfast. Mama is the staff here, she is really lovely and a little bit crazy.

(1) 4 Beds/1 BATHROOM. That's a great ration that you normally don't get at hostels. (2) BREAKFAST: look at the photos. (3) HOSPITABLE: the owners are down to earth people and tea/coffee's available any time.
(4) LOCATION: It's southwest of the few sights of Dushanbe. (5) HARD to FIND. If you're low budget and take a bus or mini bus, you will have to ask at least twice on how to find this place after getting off. MapsMe is not reliable. The hostel's location is on a little dead end road, and you get to it either through a pedestrian alley or through winding roads (left, then left, then right, then left...) that MapsMe doesn't depict clearly.
I think the neg comment about the wifi is unfair. It doesn't pertain to just Doshan Hostel but to all of Tajikistan. Keep that in mind.

We enjoyed the luxury of this pristine new hostel which had immaculately clean ensuite rooms. It's central position made it easy to get to the sights. Friendly, helpful staff and a great mix of guests made us feel at home.

This is a very nice hostel, and safe, Run by a family who lives next door. They are very friendly and the manager -=---Alex, is very helpful he will also provide airport transportation. There is a police station right outside the hostel that you have to pass by to get anywhere outside. There is a shop that sells police memorabilia and a restaurant there too.

“Incorrect information about the rooms! Worse than rated on booking!”
Beds were quite ok.
We booked a room, which includes a private toilet. Actually there is no room with private toilet, there are only two shared toilets for all rooms and dorm. The hostel is not central located, in the middle of a residential neighbourhood. By foot it takes around 30-40 min to the city centre. There is no possibility to lock your own room. The doors are always open, strangers can always enter to the area. From the morning until the evening there is no staff available for questions. Once we came back at 4 pm and the gate was locked. We waited around 30 min and then jumped over the wall. When we arrived, after one night there was no other guest. Anyway the owner asked us not to download anything because of wifi traffic. All social media was blocked. After one night We could use only whats app,not even Google. When we asked to use wifi to check our flight Information,we got the router. After 10 min someone came to our room and took the router. If there is marked 'free wifi', I expect free wifi however how long I need it. On booking there is noticed, that there is an air conditioner in every room. In reality there is an air conditioner only in the reception,which is the ante-room of the rooms. So you get only cold air, if you leave your door open. The smell of the bathroom was awful. The pressure of the shower is so weak, that a short shower takes you ~20-25 min.
